There was nobody in there but us, and it was very quiet which was different since we usually go on weekends. It was interesting, just didn't know that was the vibe on weekdays. The bartender helped us immediately and we got out drink quickly. Now, my complaint is the price. This small cheese board was $25, it doesn't look as small in the pictures, but I promise the board was TINY. A quarter of a baguette, prepackaged olives, a few bites of cheese each? NOT worth the money. If I come back, I will not be getting any food that's for sure..::

It is basement level and just a black unmarked door opens to the staircase leading down, that has clear signage. It definitely is like stepping back in time and there's no Wi-Fi service so guests are enjoying the live music or socializing! We ordered pretty quickly at the bar, we were not offered menus so I'm not sure what their signature cocktails are. Ordered a martini requested fruity, I believe it was raspberry not sure and a dark red for my friend. We sat in some cozy velvet purple chairs in the lounge area enjoying live Jazz music. My friend recalls this was a downstairs dining area for Burger King in the 80's-early 90's. The bar and Bath Room could be a bit tidier, but otherwise fun retro vibe. There is an historical piston machine on display that was used to run the building's original elevator utilizing steam! And now serves as decor and remanence of past decades.

At first the location seems less than promising, but inside the little touches of decor make for a charming, if not polished experience. It is still largely a bar that serves food, but the food is impressive in both quality and low price. The little details like in-house made desserts, house ranch dressing, and hand cut fries are a pleasant surprise. The organization behind staggered brunch seating lends itself well to good availability of items, freshness, and service. The menu includes frequently updated seasonal choices. This is also a LGBTQ+ bar. Brunch menus are regularly posted on Facebook, and the process for text message based reservations is convenient. Possibly one of the most surprisingly good restaurants in the greater Syracuse area.

The onion rings were pretty good, too. I gotta say for a place that kinda screams "overpriced", it really isn't. Came to almost exactly 50 dollars for two burgers with fries, order of onion rings, and a soft drink. Honestly? In this economy? Pretty fair for the size and quality. 6 dollars for a shake kinda surprised me too, albeit I didn't order one. Server was nice. Place was probably overstaffed, but pretty great experience overall. Very pleasantly surprised. Check it out.

Don't get me wrong, it was a good burger, but those pickles are elite, do not skip them! The fries were also very crispy and seasoned well. I only docked a star because the thing was extremely messy and fell apart at the end! I also want to plug our waitress and the cooking staff. The waitress was extremely kind and speedy to bringing over drinks and taking our order. The kitchen had our three burgers out in less than 10 minutes, which was much appreciated. I will definitely go back again! I didn't get the shake this time around but I have had a chocolate shake before, and that is absolutely worth your time.

We checked out the coffee lounge first and got espresso martini and chatted. The decor was a homey feel and I can see myself coming back meeting up with friends for coffee and catching up. Then we headed to the speakeasy and had the seasonal cocktails and just ordered salads and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. The salads and fries were simple and I like my "girl dinner" lol. I was told to come back for their brunch so that's on the list. The atmosphere and vibes were cozy, a great place to unwind and catch up or like us celebrate a special occasion. Both service in the coffee lounge and speakeasy were welcoming. I see that they host tons of events so I'll definitely have to check those out. Also can't wait to check out the rooftop lounge once they warmer weather returns. I stopped in on wing Wednesday, and boy, oh boy, was I in for a treat. On Wednesdays, their wings are .75 cents per wing, a minimum of 10 per order. So, in true foodie fashion, I decided to order some for "now and later." I chose their Val wings, Salt & Pepper, and Korean BBQ. We also ordered a Cheesesteak, I had been told by 2 people that this was the best cheesesteak in town, and I just had to try it for myself. Let's start with their wings. Are they a great value ? Yes! Were they amazing? Also, yes! These wings were simply great. Great size, great flavor profile, just great across the board! I can't imagine coming here and not ordering their wings. So good! You're probably thinking, well, what about the cheesesteak... well, I can assure you that the 2 people who suggested I try it did not steer me wrong. This cheesesteak was delicious!!! Full of tender steak, toppings, and loaded with cheese just how I love it. To make matters even better on Tuesdays, you can order a loaded cheesesteak & fries for only $8.
