My daughter and I finally made it in to Double Cheese on a late Saturday afternoon. Trendy urban style decor. No wait for table. Service was attentive and friendly. I ordered Margarita, they do have a pickle martini on the menu that has me intrigued. I was advised it is very small. Chocolate Shake for my daughter. We both ordered smash burgers and upgraded to onion rings for $1 extra. Food came out quickly as it was not busy. I had the Hot Like your Mama Burger and it was hot, nothing that a spicy lover can't handle! Unless you put the Ghost Pepper or habanero sauces on, Beware! I like the jalapeño, or chihuahua, those have nice heat that won't blow you out of the hemisphere! This is same owners as XO Taco and they make the sauces, if you love the heat they are a must try! Burgers are thin and cooked to grey but all the toppings and seasonings make them tasty, they do fall apart as you try to consume them. I wouldn't recommend eating it on the go. Onion rings hot and crispy. Definitely Will be back to try other menu options and cocktails, maybe a dirty soda, or venture trying the pickle martini! Would be fun just to taste test among friends!

Had a delicious lunch at Double Cheese!! The restaurant was very clean and the service was excellent. We ordered the DC Classic and the Hot Like Your Mom, both with an extra side of chubby cheese sauce. The portions were generous and the burgers were made of quality ingredients. I'm excited to go back and try something new!

First time easy to locate nice looking storefront big entrance stairs only access inside. Bright, clean, lots of seating, full bar, plenty of staff. Welcomed right away choice of seats we took a table for 2. Heard burgers are the specialty we wanted something different. Fries come with most options and we wanted bacon loaded with cheese and green onion so we both got tenders. Loaded fries packed with a flavorful seasoning, cheesy sauce, bacon, and green onion at least a half pound we did our best took half or more home. The tenders were crunchy outside white tender juicy inside. The fly sauce was similar to yum yum with zing and the bbq had a tongue teasing zing both good. Coke products thank goodness and good selection of local beers on tap I chose a Meier's Creek ale. Dinner for 2 good value. Next time burgers and maybe one of those shakes.

I had seen a few posts about this place, so I decided to stop by on my way home from work. Even though it was only 5 p.m., the restaurant had plenty of tables already occupied, and others were picking up takeout. The staff was incredibly friendly, and my order was taken quickly. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. The bar area looks great, and next time, I'll definitely plan to dine in. The Smashburger was fantastic--juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Even after I got home, the fries were still hot and packed with flavor. It's refreshing to have a new, locally-owned spot nearby that isn't part of a chain. Highly recommend giving it a try!

New Burger spot in the Village of Liverpool. Located on Tulip St. near the corner of Rt 57 (Oswego St.) This was the second night they have been open according to our waitress. They have been working on the building for a few months and it looks great! Nice bar area and ample seating. We got there around 5:00pm and had a short 10 minute wait to get a table. Restaurant was very busy between new patrons and take out orders. The place seemed to be running very smoothly for opening just a couple days go , very organized. Waitress was very nice and took our drink orders right away, I ordered a Manhattan and my wife had a Prosecco. My drink was a little pricey, but I have to say it was a good Manhattan and only regret was I didn't ask for 2 cherries :) The menu was the perfect size, not a ton of options but enough to choose something to your liking. Since it was our first time there we both had smash burgers.... they were excellent! Neither of us could finish the ample helping of fries, but we made sure to get a box to bring home. I believe this will become a popular burger spot for the area. Do yourself a favor swing by and check this place out.

Great spot in Liverpool to get some yummy food! Have big portions and juicy smash burgers, great chicken tenders, and even hot dogs. Very nice ambience inside and have a full bar as well. When leaving they took our photo for their wall. Service was kind, and prompt. Definitely will be back again

Double cheese is a great new addition to Liverpool! I opted for the tenders tonight with the fly sauce, I'm glad I didn't get them dunked because the hot sauce is definitely HOT. My friend got the buffalo chicken sandwich which was also spicy! Service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and modern with plenty of televisions

Working in Liverpool, I couldn't be more happy with Double Cheese opening up. The atmosphere is cozy, with a good menu selection ranging from burgers, tenders, shakes, fries and more. The burger was one of the most flavorful I've had in a while. Can't wait to try another delicious menu item next week!

Caesar salad and a Smashburger

Amazing place! I was a little confused when I walked in because I remember the last iteration of the space and thought I had to order at the counter, but now there is full table service. In addition, the tables are spaced far enough apart, where you're not on top of each other. We were immediately greeted and seated. The place was very busy on a Saturday night, but the tables turned over quickly. We had a most excellent waitress by the name of.Liv who took our order and made some funny banter. Liv made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the regular smash burger and my husband had the one with jalapeños which is called. Something like Your mom is hot, I think . We also ordered Caesar salads, which were big enough to share, but since we both ordered one, I tried to consume it in its entirely. I almost did. Salad was fresh. The Smashburger was huge on a huge bun the size of the burger. Don't you hate when the bun is smaller than the burger? anyway, the fries were hot and not at all greasy and there was a generous serving. . Our waitress wanted to know if we wanted some kind of special cheese sauce on the fries, but we declined. Apparently it's a thing other people order judging from the room. The place is kept spotless, the staff are friendly. There is a full service bar and a very busy takeout. This is a great addition to the village of Liverpool.

We arrived pretty early on a Saturday night around 5:30pm. Parking was a challenge I didn't see any ADA parking available which was ok but the overall parking situation is difficult when the snow starts flying it will be hard. The entry also not accessible unless there is an entrance in the back? If you can't climb stairs you are out of luck. Thankfully they grabbed a step stool out of the back so I could sit at a high top table. All the low tables were taken. The menu had plenty of selections I ordered onion rings appetizer, they came with sauce that was more like a horseradish sauce then remoulade that it was called. They were pretty tasty onion rings. I ordered the blue suede shoes, hubby ordered hot like yo mama. Both came with fries. The fries arrived nice and hot. They were your typical seasoned fries good flavor but nothing crazy. The burger was pretty good seasoned well with good flavor just a touch too much sauce. Hubby said his burger was awesome! I would probably go back again if I'm in the area. However the lack of accessibility may be problematic at some point.

The establishment is more of a bar than a restaurant. I felt the food is second class to the bar. Food is good but definitely overpriced.

This was my first time here along with my sister in law's. We came to celebrate her birthday, and…read moreso happy we've picked it. The atmosphere was relaxing with each level and their own vibes. We checked out the coffee lounge first and got espresso martini and chatted. The decor was a homey feel and I can see myself coming back meeting up with friends for coffee and catching up. Then we headed to the speakeasy and had the seasonal cocktails and just ordered salads and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. The salads and fries were simple and I like my "girl dinner" lol. I was told to come back for their brunch so that's on the list. The atmosphere and vibes were cozy, a great place to unwind and catch up or like us celebrate a special occasion. Both service in the coffee lounge and speakeasy were welcoming. I see that they host tons of events so I'll definitely have to check those out. Also can't wait to check out the rooftop lounge once they warmer weather returns. They are utilizing the space with bubble tents with reservations, so that's a fun idea. A cute and fun spot on Tipp hill to definitely check out.

Drinks and food was being prepared and served in the core lounge instead and it was a mess to say the least. It took 30-40 minutes for our food to come out and when the Brie board first came out of the kitchen it was sat on the counter for another 10 minutes, leaving the Brie to have a film over the top and was no longer soft. The flatbread was a disappointment, there was no sauce on the pizza and it was just way too bland for the price.... The service was extremely slow with 3 people working and all the customers in the lounge seemed to be sitting around in the same situation that I was in. Won't be coming back...

It can be "indoors" during cold/rainy weather and "outdoors" by opening all of the garage doors. Love these types of venues. They seem to be going through some changes and challenges which caused them some delays. They are extremely shorthanded in need more servers (anyone looking for a job???). And the main reason for my review is to give kudos to the women I experienced. As crazy as the place was, Natalia, Kate and Amber were rock stars!!! All under extreme pressure. All emotionally controlled. All performed with notch professionalism. Two were bartenders that were serving with patience and grace under the pressures the crowds around the bars. The other was an Assistant Manager, who was actually serving our table since they were so shorthanded. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with her. Give her a raise!!! She was hustling, promoting, and making sure everybody was happy and being taken care of. She knew exactly what her assignment was. Sounded like they are making a few improvements that are in the works. The online menu ordering process needs to be seamless. Currently a broken system. It would help with the lack of servers. I ordered the taco salad with chicken and what I received was more like a taco chicken bowl. It was OK. A little boring. It wasn't what I expecting. I was under the impression I was going to get a taco salad in a taco shell. The shell would have added some texture. And maybe add some fresh cilantro. Definitely needed something. My friend had the meatballs. I tried them and wasn't a fan of the sauce. Maybe switch to Rao's.

We basically had the place to ourselves. Service was great! She was very attentive and split our checks for us, which I know is a pain. Food was great! I read other reviews and we didn't have those issues. Well, I would say one thing could improve and that was the French onion soup wasn't as hot as it could be. However, my plate was piping hot as was the chicken noodle soup. Barry burger was fantastic! I thought it was be too sweet, but it was the perfect blend. The garlic parm fries are addictive! There is plenty of parking and I like that. We didn't utilize the outside area as it was snowing. Overall, no complaints.

I had the pleasure of returning to Touché for a second visit on Saturday evening, and once again,…read morethe experience was exceptional. It's not uncommon for a new restaurant to impress the first time, only to fall short on subsequent visits. Touché, however, proves to be a welcome exception. Their continued commitment to quality, creativity, and classic French influences remains evident in every aspect of the dining experience. Several days before our reservation, I received a courteous text from the charming and attentive hostess, Bridgette, requesting details about the members of my dining party, including names and dietary restrictions. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by name and seated at a table adorned with a personalized name card--an unnecessary but thoughtful and memorable gesture that set the tone for the evening. I selected the very reasonably priced three‑course prix fixe menu ($70), while the rest of my party opted for the Steak Frites. My starter, a colossal scallop, was beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked. While the nettle purée could have used a touch more vibrancy, it still complemented the bright yuzu dressing well. The main course--a perfectly cooked half duck breast accompanied by roasted celeriac purée and a currant‑cassis jus--was a standout. The deep berry notes paired beautifully with the richly rendered duck fat. Although I typically gravitate toward savory dishes, the dessert was an impressive finale: a Sablé Breton with blood orange cream, thyme Chantilly, thyme jam, and a rocher of coffee ice cream. The combination of sweet, salty, and herbaceous elements was wonderfully balanced and thoroughly enjoyable. I was fortunate enough to try a few bites of the Steak Frites, which did not disappoint--nor did it for the other members of my party. Our meals were complemented by excellent cocktails from the well‑stocked bar. The bartender was knowledgeable, skilled, and engaging. The open‑concept kitchen is also a delight to observe, and I look forward to reserving a seat at the chef's table on my next visit. One of the ongoing challenges in the Syracuse dining scene, in my opinion, is a general lack of restraint. Touché distinguishes itself with its thoughtful menu design, technical precision, and appropriate portion sizes. We left feeling thoroughly attended to and perfectly satiated. I sincerely hope Touché continues its pursuit of excellence both in the kitchen and in the dining room. Syracuse needs restaurants of this caliber, and I eagerly anticipate their spring and summer menus.
