    Rodeo Cowboy

So, if truth be told I am a Burger Slut. By that I mean I seek out burger joints in the search of the ultimate Burger Food-Gasim. Lets get the Administrative issues out of the way....the restaurant was clean and well maintained, parking can be tricky depending on when you get there, the staff were all friendly, effective and polite and the price is on par for both the portions and quality of the food. No complaints with any of this. Now for the food. I got the Rodeo Cowboy with Loaded Bacon Fries while my son opted for the Hot Like Your Mom with a side of their Mac-n-cheese. Let me start with the Loaded Bacon Fries by saying this - ABSOLUTELY delicious! These I would encourage everyone to order. These are not your ordinary loaded fries where the "load" consists of a skim coat of toppings. Not only were the fries themselves tasty, but they were truly LOADED. There was an ample amount of toppings on the surface as one expects. But, what made these remarkable was that even as I devoured the top layer through the middle until I found the bottom layer, there was cheese throughout and even at the bottom there was bacon and cheese. Yes!!! DELICIOUS!!! My son could not say enough about the Mac-n-Cheese stating that was the highlight of his meal. As he's picky about his Mac-n-Cheese that's a pretty good Double Thumbs up on the Mac-n-Cheese. As far as my burger it was good, but there was a lot going on there. Almost too much. Overall it was a tasty burger, no doubt. But, between the bun, generous onion-rings, shredded lettuce, tomato, cheddar cheese, bacon, jalapeños, house pickles & Bourbon BBQ sauce you almost lose the beef. Not totally but almost. Next time I'll dial it back and get a DC Classic or a DC Delux - less going on there. Overall I'd totally recommend Double Cheese to anyone who enjoys a good burger and loaded fries. Did I mention how good the loaded fries are?

Had a delicious lunch at Double Cheese!! The restaurant was very clean and the service was excellent. We ordered the DC Classic and the Hot Like Your Mom, both with an extra side of chubby cheese sauce. The portions were generous and the burgers were made of quality ingredients. I'm excited to go back and try something new!

First time easy to locate nice looking storefront big entrance stairs only access inside. Bright, clean, lots of seating, full bar, plenty of staff. Welcomed right away choice of seats we took a table for 2. Heard burgers are the specialty we wanted something different. Fries come with most options and we wanted bacon loaded with cheese and green onion so we both got tenders. Loaded fries packed with a flavorful seasoning, cheesy sauce, bacon, and green onion at least a half pound we did our best took half or more home. The tenders were crunchy outside white tender juicy inside. The fly sauce was similar to yum yum with zing and the bbq had a tongue teasing zing both good. Coke products thank goodness and good selection of local beers on tap I chose a Meier's Creek ale. Dinner for 2 good value. Next time burgers and maybe one of those shakes.

I had seen a few posts about this place, so I decided to stop by on my way home from work. Even though it was only 5 p.m., the restaurant had plenty of tables already occupied, and others were picking up takeout. The staff was incredibly friendly, and my order was taken quickly. I was in and out in under 10 minutes. The bar area looks great, and next time, I'll definitely plan to dine in. The Smashburger was fantastic--juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. Even after I got home, the fries were still hot and packed with flavor. It's refreshing to have a new, locally-owned spot nearby that isn't part of a chain. Highly recommend giving it a try!

My daughter and I finally made it in to Double Cheese on a late Saturday afternoon. Trendy urban style decor. No wait for table. Service was attentive and friendly. I ordered Margarita, they do have a pickle martini on the menu that has me intrigued. I was advised it is very small. Chocolate Shake for my daughter. We both ordered smash burgers and upgraded to onion rings for $1 extra. Food came out quickly as it was not busy. I had the Hot Like your Mama Burger and it was hot, nothing that a spicy lover can't handle! Unless you put the Ghost Pepper or habanero sauces on, Beware! I like the jalapeño, or chihuahua, those have nice heat that won't blow you out of the hemisphere! This is same owners as XO Taco and they make the sauces, if you love the heat they are a must try! Burgers are thin and cooked to grey but all the toppings and seasonings make them tasty, they do fall apart as you try to consume them. I wouldn't recommend eating it on the go. Onion rings hot and crispy. Definitely Will be back to try other menu options and cocktails, maybe a dirty soda, or venture trying the pickle martini! Would be fun just to taste test among friends!

New Burger spot in the Village of Liverpool. Located on Tulip St. near the corner of Rt 57 (Oswego St.) This was the second night they have been open according to our waitress. They have been working on the building for a few months and it looks great! Nice bar area and ample seating. We got there around 5:00pm and had a short 10 minute wait to get a table. Restaurant was very busy between new patrons and take out orders. The place seemed to be running very smoothly for opening just a couple days go , very organized. Waitress was very nice and took our drink orders right away, I ordered a Manhattan and my wife had a Prosecco. My drink was a little pricey, but I have to say it was a good Manhattan and only regret was I didn't ask for 2 cherries :) The menu was the perfect size, not a ton of options but enough to choose something to your liking. Since it was our first time there we both had smash burgers.... they were excellent! Neither of us could finish the ample helping of fries, but we made sure to get a box to bring home. I believe this will become a popular burger spot for the area. Do yourself a favor swing by and check this place out.

Great spot in Liverpool to get some yummy food! Have big portions and juicy smash burgers, great chicken tenders, and even hot dogs. Very nice ambience inside and have a full bar as well. When leaving they took our photo for their wall. Service was kind, and prompt. Definitely will be back again

Double cheese is a great new addition to Liverpool! I opted for the tenders tonight with the fly sauce, I'm glad I didn't get them dunked because the hot sauce is definitely HOT. My friend got the buffalo chicken sandwich which was also spicy! Service was friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and modern with plenty of televisions

Working in Liverpool, I couldn't be more happy with Double Cheese opening up. The atmosphere is cozy, with a good menu selection ranging from burgers, tenders, shakes, fries and more. The burger was one of the most flavorful I've had in a while. Can't wait to try another delicious menu item next week!

Amazing place! I was a little confused when I walked in because I remember the last iteration of the space and thought I had to order at the counter, but now there is full table service. In addition, the tables are spaced far enough apart, where you're not on top of each other. We were immediately greeted and seated. The place was very busy on a Saturday night, but the tables turned over quickly. We had a most excellent waitress by the name of.Liv who took our order and made some funny banter. Liv made sure we had everything we needed. I ordered the regular smash burger and my husband had the one with jalapeños which is called. Something like Your mom is hot, I think . We also ordered Caesar salads, which were big enough to share, but since we both ordered one, I tried to consume it in its entirely. I almost did. Salad was fresh. The Smashburger was huge on a huge bun the size of the burger. Don't you hate when the bun is smaller than the burger? anyway, the fries were hot and not at all greasy and there was a generous serving. . Our waitress wanted to know if we wanted some kind of special cheese sauce on the fries, but we declined. Apparently it's a thing other people order judging from the room. The place is kept spotless, the staff are friendly. There is a full service bar and a very busy takeout. This is a great addition to the village of Liverpool.

We arrived pretty early on a Saturday night around 5:30pm. Parking was a challenge I didn't see any ADA parking available which was ok but the overall parking situation is difficult when the snow starts flying it will be hard. The entry also not accessible unless there is an entrance in the back? If you can't climb stairs you are out of luck. Thankfully they grabbed a step stool out of the back so I could sit at a high top table. All the low tables were taken. The menu had plenty of selections I ordered onion rings appetizer, they came with sauce that was more like a horseradish sauce then remoulade that it was called. They were pretty tasty onion rings. I ordered the blue suede shoes, hubby ordered hot like yo mama. Both came with fries. The fries arrived nice and hot. They were your typical seasoned fries good flavor but nothing crazy. The burger was pretty good seasoned well with good flavor just a touch too much sauce. Hubby said his burger was awesome! I would probably go back again if I'm in the area. However the lack of accessibility may be problematic at some point.

The establishment is more of a bar than a restaurant. I felt the food is second class to the bar. Food is good but definitely overpriced.

We stopped here and were seated instantly at a very comfy and roomy booth. Our server was great as well, I don't remember her name but, truly she was on top of it. We ordered some drinks over the course of our meals as they have a plethora of drinks to try! Their flavor notes to describe their drinks were very helpful to figure out what you'd like and our server was very helpful with making sure we got what we wanted! Our food was amazing and the price for everything was relatively fair and I think affordable for two people to get the full experience! I left extremely happy and definitely coming back for another date night! As we wanted to be away from crowds, at the time it wasn't too busy, but I felt like even if it was, it still wouldn't have hindered the experience, and my boyfriend attested to this as well for all those shy folk!

It's a great casual place to hang out or watch a game. There's also a game room in the back which we didn't get to see as there was a private event going on at the time. Both our hostess and waitress were stellar. Our waitress had a table of 8 with 5 different checks, didn't write anything down, and just nailed every order. She also had fantastic suggestions. I ordered "The Burn Notice" burger and it was fantastic! Just the right amount of heat, great flavor, their fries are really solid as well. They have a vast selection of beer, ales and IPAs and you can choose any four of them to make a flight. It comes in a wooden holder with your choices written in chalk. Really awesome! I forget the name, but try number 20, it's fantastic! My daughter recently moved to Syracuse and when visiting, this will be a regular stop. I can wait to try more.

My friend ordered the soup of the day which was Corn Chowder with Shrimp. It sounded good but I know if I have soup, I can't finish lunch. As soon as they brought out the soup and I had just a spoonful..... I had to get a bowl. Plenty of shrimp and corn , lots of flavor and it was smooth and light and delicious. I am not a fan of chowders that are thick as "pudding". We didn't have any drinks this time, but they have an amazing list of ciders, ales, beers on tap. It's been a while since I'd last been but everything is as amazing as I remembered…read more I've seen them advertise their monthly "flight night" events for some time but never actually had been to one. When I saw an espresso martini and cake pairing, I knew I had to pull the trigger. Met up with some friends and we all ordered food beforehand to offset the impending sugar rush. I'd had their naan pizza in the past and loved it, so this time I went with the one that had caramelized onions and goat cheese. AMAZING. Crispy crust, melty cheese, tangy onions and the perfect amount of everything in every bite. Then onto the main event: the flights! The staff brought over our cake and drinks and were so great about explaining what to pair together. (There was also a card) Desserts were a carrot cake with the most impossibly airy icing, a pistachio cheesecake with chocolate ganache, and a chocolate cake with a light nutella icing. I'm usually a carrot cake girlie and while I enjoyed it, the cheesecake was actually my favorite. Just the perfect pistachio flavor and a wonderful consistency -- so, so smooth. Our waitress told us that the owner is the one that makes all of the desserts too. A multi-talented queen. As far as the martinis, my favorite was the affogato one. These flight-nights are one-off events and the items aren't normally on the menu, so if you see one that looks extra appealing, get yourself there! I've been for normal service too though, and honestly, never have had a misfire here. One thing I especially love is the option to order drinks in 5oz pours, a godsend for lightweights like me.
