Another great order at Rocky's on a Sunday afternoon. They didn't have much beer left on tap so I inquired about cocktails. And settled on a Cosmopolitan. Which is a tart citrusy blend with a pretty pink presentation. Way better than a draft beer. After a couple cocktails we decided to order food to go. Throughout our visit I noticed many customers stopping in for pick up orders. A good sign their food is popular! I went with a double smashburger with cheese, bacon, onion straws and jam. So flavorful and juicy! I ordered sweet potato fries that went perfectly with the burger served with I believe a maple dipping sauce. Everything was delicious! With all the new burger restaurants popping up in Liverpool don't count Rocky's out for one of the best burgers in the village! read more

First time going to this establishment. We went to watch a band play (Infinity), and hang out for a few hours. The bar and stage are were spacious, and the staff was nice and friendly. We didn't sample any of their food, but people that did said it was good. Would definitely go back there again. read more

I have been here a couple times and service is always good. The drinks are delicious. It is a bit of a dive bar and located in a strip mall but they do have live music often. The wings I had were delicious, nice and crispy and juicy with plenty of sauce. Tried a few other things off the menu and they were decent. Not a ton of seating so it can get a bit crowded especially when there is an event. read more

Tonight's stop for dinner was Rocky's Pub ! Wing night $.50 ea can't be beat. We ordered the spicy bourbon wings. Nice and crispy. Good flavor but not any real spiciness at all. We also ordered the smash burgers with bourbon bacon jam. Their burger meat is fresh not frozen, and you can tell. Melt in your mouth. Bun toasted nicely as well. Fries hot, crispy, and cooked in fresh grease. Side of gravy was ok. Could have used more than a thimble full. Relaxed local hangout. Service was great. Check em out! read more

We had a graduation party for 2 of my grandchildren here. The food was so good. There were many compliments on the Mac and Cheese. Another favorite was the roasted potatoes. Yummy! The owner was so easy to communicate with and very helpful deciding how much food was needed. The food was very reasonable. Another important thing for us is the cleanliness of a place where we are eating. Everything was clean, including the bathrooms. A great time was had by all. read more

Visited tonight for dinner with my son. The staff was excellent and friendly, great atmosphere. The all American burger was cooked perfectly, the chicken Riggies were on point and my boy even said they were better than mine. Also had some sweet chili wings that were delicious. I like the customers. Always coming across neighbors and friends I haven't met yet but for some reason we were not treated well by management and staff. There would be eight or so gentlemen enjoying liquor, a heavy pour in an Old Fashioned glass. But when they served my husband it was a precisely measured single shot in a plastic shot glass. We were all paying the same price so why the drastic difference in drink sizes? Makes me feel very unwelcome by management. The food varies from meh to bad. I haven't ordered anything that I would want to order again. The cheeseburger soup I ordered for takeout last night was so salty I tossed it out. My favorite place in Liverpool!!! Better than the limp lizard. We enjoyed a happy hour special, $4 jalepino poppers. (Their happy hour menu is pretty big and lasts from 3 to 5 Fridays and Saturdays). My fiance had the chicken ranch wrap, which I tasted. Very yummy!!! I had the barbecue chicken salad. Fantastic!! Very good crunchy homemade chips (try them with ranch). The bar tender was busy but she kept up like a champ!! She had my second cosmo on the way moments after I finished my first. Very clean establishment. Mostly 80's and 90's music. read more

I really wanted to like Rocky's...I prefer to buy local and especially during the pandemic wanted to support as many local establishments as possible. Rocky's is conveniently located in Liverpool and their website and food photos are admittedly very compelling. Nicely written descriptions add to the interest so I excitedly placed an order for takeout. When I walked in I was greeted by a friendly bartender who served me my order when the kitchen had it ready. There were a few customers in there who were clearly regulars, and who seemed a bit annoyed that the bartender had to wait on someone other than them; she did her best. She presented me with my food containers, I paid my bill with tip and left to go home to experience this great meal. NOT. As another reviewer said, "this is a bar". I was so disappointed that the food in no way looked, tasted, or was as illustrated or described in the menu, website, or photos. It was bad bar food pulled from frozen stock and badly prepared to boot. Food was over-salted, over-cooked, and though I expected a bit of impact on quality from the foam containers, my trip home was about 3 miles or 7 minutes, so that was the least of the issues. I'm sad to say that Rocky's didn't even pass my general rule of giving every food establishment at least 3 chances to get it right. Everyone can have a bad day at times, but the quality of the food and lack of attention to the order proved that this is the best they can do. read more

Me and my dad had to go to a doctors appointment so after we stopped by Rocky's and when we first walked in it looked very nice the bar was packed people were having fun, so we ordered a Burger, Wings, and chicken riggies. The burger was cooked perfectly medium and had nice fresh toppings the fries were good they were crispy and flavorful, the wings were pretty good we got the sweet heat ones and the sauce was amazing. The riggies probably the best riggies I've had in A long time, they weren't like normal riggies they were creamy cheesy and flavorful with a little kick of heat. Well...this is the first time my "Happy Hour Club" actually walked out of a place. When we arrived our first impression was that the actual place seemed really nice large area, nice bar, darts, etc...but maybe the fact that only 4 people were in there should have tipped us off. While waiting for the other half of our group to arrive, we (6 of us) ordered drinks. Near us, one male patron was sitting at the bar and made a nasty, disgusting homophobic comment when another two of our crowd walked in. We discussed it among ourselves as to whether or not to let it go, talk to the man or leave. I finally made the decision to leave as I felt I didn't want us to be in the place with him and his attitude, especially since it was so empty. Had it been crowded we could have just avoided him. In addition, the bartender was unfriendly and unwelcoming...at least she could have tried to make us feel welcomed-especially since I messaged the owner in advance to let him know we were going there. This was our FIRST NEGATIVE EXPERIENCE since beginning this Happy Hour Club 8 months ago (we go somewhere different every Friday). Every other establishment has welcomed us and treated us well...and certainly profited from our large, fun group. This was such a disappointing experience. read more
