Nice vibes at this place, plenty of TVs. We got there on the later side and ordered food just before the kitchen closed, but it was really good. Got a Philly cheese steak & burger; fries were nice and hot. Friendly service. Would definitely return.

So last night we paid a return visit to Cobblestone Ale House. We wanted a place to get a bite to eat and watch the playoff games. This is def the spot to go. 2 huge wall tvs and numerous others throughout. The place was full, but we managed 2 seats at the bar. For our meals we shared the Mountain Melt and a burger with bacon, cheese, jalapeños etc. ( can't remember the name). I tried to look up the menu online to specify, but it is really hard to find. The food was great. Burger was ordered medium but came out med-well. That's ok because it was moist, tender, and tasty. Mountain melt is a combo of tots, chicken, cheese etc. We could only eat 1/2! So good. Great atmosphere, bartenders all busy, but were friendly and attentive to our food and drink needs. It's a great place to hang out, have some munchies, watch sports, and tip a few. Check em out!!!

This is an awesome neighborhood bar with great food and good times! They were very kind to host our group post-run and cooked several delicious cheese pizzas! Staff were so nice to talk to and service was efficient. Night out with friends? This is a great place to stop

Wings... extra crispy & lightly tossed in sauce. Perfect!

We went to Cobblestone Ale House in Liverpool Village for Happy Hour and dinner last night. Comfortable atmosphere, attentive bartender and good crowd. We sat at a corner of the bar and enjoyed a couple drinks while we all relaxed. With such a large place you can sometimes get lost in the crowd but not with our bartender. I wish she gave us her name because she never stopped moving all night! We were there at 5 so it would be easy to figure out who she is, lol. After a couple drinks, we ordered dinner. A large Calzone with broccoli, sausage and garlic, a large Supreme pizza, a chicken quesadilla and an order of wings. Our bartender took our entire order without writing it down and it came out exactly as we wanted it! Damn, that's amazing! I can't remember why I walked into a room any more! The Calzone was HUGE and delicious, easily half a large pizza! The Quesadilla was stuffed full of chicken and veggies (sorry about the blurry pic), the meaty wings were cooked exactly as the Hubs likes them, extra crispy and light on the sauce. The Supreme pizza was covered in fresh veggies and pepperoni but could have stayed in the oven a few more minutes as the dough was a little under cooked. But still not enough to stop us from scarfing it down, LOL! This was just what we all needed after a busy week and sharing time with friends amid the pretty Christmas inside the bar got us into the holiday spirit. Hope we can make it back again soon!

This place is really hit or miss. If you're not a local or a regular or whatever, try another bar in the area. Which, FYI, are all owned by the same people but not equally managed.

Best service and food. 5 star and all of the workers are super nice and go in a Thursday afternoon that's when they get less busy.

We love it here. The bartenders are all great, even when it's a brand new one that you haven't met.

It can be "indoors" during cold/rainy weather and "outdoors" by opening all of the garage doors. Love these types of venues. They seem to be going through some changes and challenges which caused them some delays. They are extremely shorthanded in need more servers (anyone looking for a job???). And the main reason for my review is to give kudos to the women I experienced. As crazy as the place was, Natalia, Kate and Amber were rock stars!!! All under extreme pressure. All emotionally controlled. All performed with notch professionalism. Two were bartenders that were serving with patience and grace under the pressures the crowds around the bars. The other was an Assistant Manager, who was actually serving our table since they were so shorthanded. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with her. Give her a raise!!! She was hustling, promoting, and making sure everybody was happy and being taken care of. She knew exactly what her assignment was. Sounded like they are making a few improvements that are in the works. The online menu ordering process needs to be seamless. Currently a broken system. It would help with the lack of servers. I ordered the taco salad with chicken and what I received was more like a taco chicken bowl. It was OK. A little boring. It wasn't what I expecting. I was under the impression I was going to get a taco salad in a taco shell. The shell would have added some texture. And maybe add some fresh cilantro. Definitely needed something. My friend had the meatballs. I tried them and wasn't a fan of the sauce. Maybe switch to Rao's.

Plenty of space filling up with fans. Enormous bar to the right attentive most of our visit. Drink prices fluctuates by the bartender, not consistent. I did not see any food being served in the bar area or the event center. They do have a restaurant, not sure if that is sit down only for food options. Great venue for live music. Looking forward to attending more events, they host outdoor summer concerts as well.

It wasn't bad, but I probably would not go again. The…read moreservice was good; we were sat right away, and drink orders placed quickly. Drinks came promptly, and our food orders as well. They have a wide range of meal and drink options, with most items sounding appetizing. My husband and I both got lavender drinks; him a lavender marg, and I a lavender lemonade. They were very syrupy, which made it hard to finish the drinks, even though they the flavor was great. We got garlic bread as an app, and it was much more greasy than one would expect. But it was still very tasty. Only down side was that the grease weighted down our stomachs, so it was hard to finish the entrees. Dinner was very good; I had the six cheeses mac n cheese, and Ryan got fish n chips. Both were a good portion for the price, which is always nice. Again, it wasn't a bad experience! I just wasn't blown away/ i didnt feel that I need to go back in the future.

We've eaten here a bunch - mostly due to proximity and lack of other options. The food is wildly…read moreinconsistent; sometimes, we're surprised at how good a dish is (usually a special or seasonal dish), but if we order it again, it's never the same. The biggest issues: - Many things seem to have a lot of oil involved. From the side vegetables to the burgers to the "garlic bread" served on the side of the pasta dishes - there's a strong, oily taste. It's not a pleasant oil - my guess is it's ostensibly neutral, like a vegetable or canola, though it leaves a flavor that suggests it's not entirely neutral. Perhaps a fake butter? Why it's so ubiquitous is anyone's guess, but it leaves an unpleasant film in your mouth. While I understand restaurants use a lot more oil/butter than home cooking (it's often why we like restaurant food better), this oil is not good. - The fries. I guess some people like them; I loved shoestring fries as a kid, but these aren't the same. They have no flavor (aside from the aforementioned oil), and they're the consistency of McDonald's fries, but drier and harder. Recently, we got an order that came with a new, more traditional style fry, and they were so good. We were excited that they finally ditched the cardboard variety but that apparently was a one-off - today showed that they seemed to revert to the old style, unfortunately. - They had an amazing chicken bacon ranch pizza for a while, until one day when it was gone. I think the secret was smoked Gouda, but whatever they used, it was a great pizza. When it disappeared from the menu, I inquired and was told, "oh yeah, lots of people are asking for that." So I said, "is it coming back, then?" I was told it's "doubtful," which kinda sums up my experiences there. Everyone loved it and wants it back? Better get rid of it, then. - The kids menu options are somewhat insulting to children. The "grilled cheese" uses what appear to be hamburger buns, so carelessly made that they seldom match up (that is, the top will be skewed off so the sandwich isn't put together). The kids pasta dishes are just plain noodles, usually undercooked, with no seasoning (i.e. salt) or other attention to preparation. The inconsistency is really the biggest issue for me. Things range from "fine" to "bad," but even if you stick with one menu item, you don't know what you're going to get. Non-chain, family-friendly restaurants are seemingly hard to find in this area, so I really wish they were better. We've kept at this place far longer than we probably should, again due to convenience, and because every now and then, a dish will be surprisingly good. However, those instances are becoming so rare, I think we're done for a good while. I do hope they improve.

Her reply was that it's a busy Saturday and she's not telling them that today. Seriously we both work in food you are not a positive person. Who says that to a customer? She never smiled, there was at least 4 wait staff and a busser working the deck with a number of open tables. She also told us they had no plates for us to eat our appetizers and then found one said it was busy lunch except it was now 4:30pm. Really? Mind you we have both been managers in restaurants, I still work in one and had worked that day. We are always polite and friendly because of this Don't want to know how the food was don't ask and certainly don't tell the customer you aren't telling the cook. We even tried to laugh it off and she remained stoic. Is there something more going on there like a mean cook or are you just rude? The topper was her talking about us to other wait staff less than 10 feet away after that. The broiled seafood platter was ok but again needed seasoning which we didn't tell her since she clearly didn't care. After my first experience in a number of years a few weeks ago, this was a complete let down. There were plenty of open tables so it wasn't that busy as I have seen a wait for outdoor seating at most places by the water on a sunny warm day. One of the tall ships headed to Oswego was docked there as well which would draw people in from the water but not many there maybe she is part of the problem and the cook on Saturday June 21st.
