I stopped in to get two Reuben's to go. They are the best on Tipp Hill and you just can't beat $7.50 for a sandwich and chips! I upgraded to onion rings and added jalapeño poppers just because they sounded good. I ordered a blue moon and had just a short wait time for my order. Plenty of seating available and authentic Irish pub vibe. My total was only $20 and change! Orders are cash only don't forget your wallet, no phone tapping here! Cash is king!

Dam, that was one of the best burgers I've ever had! For a first timer, it was a little confusing, but we found a regular who walked us through it. You order and pay at the kitchen window, then grab a table. When the food ready, they call your name to pick it up. There are two bars for easy access to the many draft beers. I got the Tuesday special, a burger and domestic beer for $8.50. I upgraded to a Blue Moon for $1.50. The burger is made to your liking with toppings of your choice. It is so large that I could barely get it in my mouth. What a tasty delight. Served with chips. This is a noisy crowded place with a friendly vibe and great inexpensive food. I will return!

Loved it. Our son and his girlfriend brought us here when we were in town and it was great. I loved ordering at the counter. Really added to the style of the place. And the food was very good. I tried the Tipperary Dip and a side of zucchini sticks. Everyone else was happy with their food too. I'd go back for sure.

I am lucky enough to live in the vicinity of Blarney Stone, so whenever I have a hankering for some amazing wings, I find myself at Blarney Stone. This is a neighborhood bar that is truly a gem in the Tipp Hill Area. Upon entering, you may think this is just your average bar, but you would be incorrect. Blarney Stone has multiple bars, great food, and a designated dining area. During the warmer months, they also offer outdoor seating. They have a 2cd level for those who desire to have private events. How cool is that?! Blarney Stone does take orders over the phone if you're looking to grab & go. Their menu consists of wings, salads, sandwiches, fried fish (Friday's only), and a few appetizers. I would say they are most famous for their Blarney burgers, which are a great size and very affordable!! Between their awesome prices, generous servings, and great customer service, Blarney Stone keeps me coming back for more.

Love this place. Wr stopped in on a Friday night to watch a BB game n gets some food. We took a chance the place was pretty packed. We walked all through no tables. We found a spot at the bar and we waited on right away. We had a small piece of their buffet pizza before it ended at seven to hold us over till the food line went down a bit. Pizza was very good n the drinks too. We got in line for some fish before they ran out which had happened if you get there too late. The place is cash only n you order n pay ahead of time. When your food is ready, we call your name up and help yourself ti the condiments. They even have vinegar for your fish and fries along with ketchup, n tartar sauce. The portion is a good size n comes with fries and a small coleslaw. Many other menu items are on the board and a few specials. There's lots of tv's to watch your favorite sports game: So if you want a nice, clean place with exceptional service and good food head over to the Tipp Hill area Blarney Stone at 314 Avery Ave . Open 11am to 2am.

Haven't been in a while and so glad to get back! The food was absolutely delicious! Order at window. Cash only. They call your name when ready. Hot, seasoned and overall fantastic.

the food here was so good. there was no pressure when ordering because you go up to a counter to order. it's self serve and there's no pressure to leave once you're done because you don't have a waitress or a bill you pay for your food get some drinks and eat at your pace. i think this place is very nice because it's dim with some older music and it's not expensive either my family got four meals and an appetizer with drinks all for 60 dollars very worth it. overall i love this place and will be returning soon!!

READ THIS: The Blarney Stone doesn't do Yelp. They haven't claimed their page and the linked Menius are years old. I will post photos of the new menu. Also, they accept CASH ONLY. I have forgotten more than once. That said, I really like this place. Some feel it's the best hamburger in Syracuse. I might not go that far, but it's a real hamburger, not like some fast food junk and it's no more expensive than comparable fast food. The price is up from $4.75 in 2018 to $7. But it's still a solid value. I also got a dozen chicken wings for $12 (no longer $10) still cheaper than other local wing restaurants which can charge $1.50-2 per wing. They had a special on chicken legs which I didn't see because I ordered online. The wings were properly cooked. They seemed noticeably larger and meatier than the wings most restaurants serve these days. That said, I seldom buy wings any more. They have gotten too expensive. At home I mostly buy chicken thighs. There is an additional 75 cent charge if the package items in a clam shell to go. The kitchen was very busy with 4 or more guys cooking. My order came out promptly but there is often a line to order. This is a sports bar with multiple TVs and a wide variety of beers. (I don't drink alcohol). The atmosphere is very sports bar. Tons of guys yelling at the tvs. There is outdoor terrace dining if the inside is too raucous for you. This is just the kind of restaurant that the fast food chains are putting out of business, but it's far better than the chains. Check it out and see!

Celery with hair ..while I was enjoying my wings at the notorious Blarney Stone, I failed to realize there was several hair strains on my celery. On top of that I received a cup water with a bunch of brown and white specks.

One of my favorite places on Tip Hill to have some fun with my friends. I have been going here for years. Top down the Best Burger in the Cuse. 1/2 burger for under $7. How can you pass that up? They have many other options as well. All are cooked to order. Stop in and get a cold one and the amaziBlarney burger

Blarney Stone is by far my favorite and go-to bar across Syracuse. I don't go out a lot anymore, but without a doubt, I've spent more money here than any other bar by an order of magnitudes. I turned 21 right here at the bar, way back when, and never looked back! They do all their food from a cash-only window in the back. Their prices are ridiculously low, and you're getting good quality food. Never come here without at least $10 for a blarney burger and a drink. This restaurant is how I kept in touch with many of my friends. If "Let's hang out" doesn't feel right, start with "Let's get a Blarney Burger". If they say no to that, you probably dodged a bullet anyway. Sometimes it takes a great deal of luck or patience, but if the weather is nice, you wanna make sure you get a seat on the patio. I still have friendships that are held together with standing Blarney Burger dates a few times a year. Their other food is also crazy cheap and surprisingly great quality. Last time we went we tried the Tipperary Dip sandwich, which was incredible and only like $8.00. Their wings are some of the highest rated in Syracuse. I don't know if they still do it, but they always used to have specials on wings during SU games if you ate in, but the hardest part was getting a table before the place got packed. Call up a friend you haven't seen in a while and meet them for lunch on the patio for a Blarney Burger. It's one of my favorite experiences living in Syracuse.

The host was friendly, our server was upbeat and attentive, and the owner came by to chat late in the meal. A truly welcoming experience. We started off with two Black & Tans (Guinness and Harp) and an order of the Irish Fritters and mini potato pancakes. Generous enough portions of both, that we set aside half to take home for the next day. Our entrees were the Irish Meatloaf dinner and the baked haddock dinner. Both arrived perfectly timed and perfectly cooked. Again, we couldn't quite finish them, so we boxed up the remainder for Sunday. For dessert, we opted to drink ours. We ordered a strawberry Martini and a whiskey cocktail named after the title of Ireland's Prime Minister. All in all, it was 2 hours from start to finish, the bill was $110, to which I added a 25% tip. If you're looking for a real taste of Ireland, look no further than Kitty Hoynes.

Server was apologetic, taste was pleasant but strong and lacking garnish. My friend just ordered a light draft and we ordered Reuben egg rolls to share. Best Reuben egg rolls I have had in the Cuse! Tons of tender corned beef, and just a hint of sauerkraut and Swiss served with thousands island dressing! I ordered an extra for take out for my Irish man at home and short rib tacos. Those did not keep well for take out, more meat and toppings would improve the continuity compared to tortillas. Service excellent, frequently checked upon for refills and food order. Prompt delivery and friendly service! Great place for meetups with a pub sports bar atmosphere. I'm not sure I noticed remanence of the prior press room. Many televisions great for sport events. It's been a while since I'd last been but everything is as amazing as I remembered…read more I've seen them advertise their monthly "flight night" events for some time but never actually had been to one. When I saw an espresso martini and cake pairing, I knew I had to pull the trigger. Met up with some friends and we all ordered food beforehand to offset the impending sugar rush. I'd had their naan pizza in the past and loved it, so this time I went with the one that had caramelized onions and goat cheese. AMAZING. Crispy crust, melty cheese, tangy onions and the perfect amount of everything in every bite. Then onto the main event: the flights! The staff brought over our cake and drinks and were so great about explaining what to pair together. (There was also a card) Desserts were a carrot cake with the most impossibly airy icing, a pistachio cheesecake with chocolate ganache, and a chocolate cake with a light nutella icing. I'm usually a carrot cake girlie and while I enjoyed it, the cheesecake was actually my favorite. Just the perfect pistachio flavor and a wonderful consistency -- so, so smooth. Our waitress told us that the owner is the one that makes all of the desserts too. A multi-talented queen. As far as the martinis, my favorite was the affogato one. These flight-nights are one-off events and the items aren't normally on the menu, so if you see one that looks extra appealing, get yourself there! I've been for normal service too though, and honestly, never have had a misfire here. One thing I especially love is the option to order drinks in 5oz pours, a godsend for lightweights like me. Ambiance, food, drinks, all excellent.

Quality of the food depends. The $18 salad was a plate of iceberg lettuce with a few scraps of cheese thrown on. The salad was the biggest disappointment. On the other hand, the classic poutine was bang on. Great ratio of gravy to fries, everything was nice, all the flavors were right. But the rest of the poutines have too much quality variation, which is unforgivable for a place advertising their 12 different kinds of poutine. None of the other flavors were nearly as good as the classic, with combos that didn't work. The burger was tasty. However, it was supposed to be medium and it was very rare. The beer cheese pretzel was also disappointing. The cheese had been cooked too long, or maybe microwaved, because it had seized and was very coarse and mealy. The amount of cheese was also not enough for the pretzel. Service was great. No complaints about any of the waitresses or hostesses. Overall, a fine place near downtown to get a classic poutine and an artisanal beer. Stay away from everything else.
