Lobster tail - A woman with dark, curly hair and a sleeveless maroon top is sitting at an outdoor restaurant table. She is holding a lobster claw in her right hand and smiling. The table has a large bowl of seafood pasta with tomato sauce, and a glass of water is nearby. Red umbrellas shade the seating area, and trees and other diners are visible in the background.

I have no words; this restaurant was incredible. It was the perfect place to eat after an amazing day at the lake. The Seafood Cioppino was the best entree I've had in a while. The bread was next level. Overall, it was just an amazing outdoor dining experience.

Some of the best food in Skaneateles, had to dine here twice during my business trip. Make a reservation far in advance as space is small and intimate. Ate a pasta dish, spare rib with mashed potatoes and vegetables, and sushi as an appetizer. Everything was 10/10

A group of seven individuals, including adults and a child, are seated at a long wooden table in a restaurant with dim lighting and decorative wall projections. The table has drinks, menus, and a small floral centerpiece. The background shows other diners and a modern interior with exposed ceiling beams and hanging lights.

Moro's Kitchen was a hit for our party of eight, with easy reservations and warm hospitality right from the start--greeted by fresh focaccia and an attentive server. Creative cocktails set the tone, service stayed flawless, and we loved sharing fritto misto, fresh oysters, short ribs, Moros burger, NY Strip, pizza and a few other dishes. Chef Moro's legendary bread pudding capped it off perfectly, rich and unforgettable! Chef Moro has been a staple in the Skaneateles community for over 15 years and once you wait here you will quickly realize why. Make the reservation--you won't regret it!

Rabe Side - The image shows cooked leafy greens, broccoli florets, and pieces of onions in a disposable aluminum tray. The vegetables appear to be steamed or sautéed, with some moisture visible on the surface. The tray is metallic and has ridges along the sides, commonly used for takeout or serving food.

We ordered take out and it was delicious. The fries were still crispy, not soggy and seasoned to perfection. The rabe side was also amazing, garlicky and tasty. The sushi was okay, a little bland for my liking. They provided ginger and soy sauce on the side. I think a filling with a little more flavor like cream cheese, green onion, cucumber or something else would elevate the rolls. Overall 10/10 takeout experience, our order was ready on time as well!

Homemade pasta Truffle Ragu - A white bowl contains pasta with mushrooms, grated cheese, and chopped herbs, placed on a wooden table. Behind the bowl, there is a glass of water and a white pot filled with red berries. The setting appears to be in a restaurant or dining area with warm lighting.

Wonderful food, nice atomoshere. Once a year I come to Skaneateles for a skating competition as a coach, and to enjoy "A Dickens Christmas". I go to certain favorite resturants while in town, and this is one of them. This dish is decadent... rich, creamy, earthy taste... very filling. I recommend making a reservation ahead of time, because there have been years I forgot to, and didn't get to eat here during my visit. While parking can be very difficult in town, there is a parking lot specifically for this resturant in the back - so not to worry.

Moro's is a great restaurant in Skan with great staff and delicious food! I've been here two times, both with a reservation needed on a Friday evening. Moro's has a large selection of food & drinks to choose from, and has great specials! My family and I all got our own entrees, while sharing the beet salad, and it was perfect. Everyone is extremely friendly and you're sure to come back to this place! Also very well priced.

a tray of food - A disposable foil tray holds various food items including a serving of pasta with cheese, a sandwich bun, a small container of salad with sliced vegetables, and cooked meat. There are also small containers of condiments and a pen placed on the tray. The tray is set on a yellow checkered tablecloth, indicating outdoor dining or takeout service.

A friend of mine went by and picked up our order to go, and brought it to the campgrounds that we were staying at. This place really does it right! It was packaged up perfectly, and every single item in my dinner was STUPENDOUSLY good. The specialty cocktail was fantastic also. And then me and hubs, we shared the apple crisp dessert. A little bit too sweet for us, but still very, very, very good.

We made reservations here for my birthday dinner and were seated promptly by a very nice hostess! Our waiter was also nice and super knowledgeable, we could tell he was actually passionate about the food here. Fries and sushi were delicious as starters, and we both decided on different pizzas as our entrees. The menu changes every so often but when we went it had options for all types of preferences! Outside the restaurant is cute just like the rest of Skaneateles, and inside was nicely updated and very clean. The bathrooms were spacious too. Even though the restaurant was on the smaller side, we didn't feel cramped sitting next to other people. We will definitely be back!

Delmonico steak - A steak dish is presented on a white plate, topped with fried onion rings and served with grilled vegetables, including zucchini and eggplant. There is a green sauce in a small bowl nearby, and the plate is garnished with a tomato-based sauce. The background shows additional plates with food, indicating a dining setting.

Honestly the best meal I've had in a long time! The presentation, flavor and quality all 10/10. The staff was very nice and attentive the whole time. The only thing I wish was different was that I had more of an appetite to finish everything! Gelato made in house tasted like we were in Europe again. Will definitely be coming again!

Calamari - A white oval plate contains fried calamari rings and tentacles, garnished with sliced green and orange peppers, chopped herbs, and a small sprig of parsley. The calamari is placed on a tomato-based sauce. The plate is on a dark wooden table, with other plates, a menu, and a candle visible in the background, indicating a restaurant setting.

Nice restaurant with very so-so fare. Very pleasant environment but just never delivers. Fine service in a nice stone building.

Food is always great. Reasonably priced for Skaneateles. Also, our go-to for take-out.

Great house made pasta dishes. Nice sauces but not too heavy. Good service and some yummy gelato for dessert. Loved the atmosphere!

Stone Creek - Calamari

Stone Creek

Bottom Line Up Front: Worth the money - YES…read moreFriends and Family Recommendation - YES Yelp Bookmark-able -YES One of my biggest pet peeves regarding dining out is spending good money on average to sub par or poor food. Rest assured, that is not the case when it comes to Stone Creek. From the moment we walked through the front door the staff was friendly and attentive without being overbearing. The decor/ ambiance was a pleasant mix between relaxed/casual to upscale. Nothing fancy or pretentious, but welcoming and inviting. Although I'm a local I've not eaten here until tonight...a point I regret. I'm a steak snob that often finds numerous faults in a steak I get in a restaurant knowing I could do better at home. This was not the case tonight. My ribeye was cooked to perfection, was full of flavor, tender and juicy. That alone would bring me back for more, but the mushroom cream I had as a side was spectacular and took my experience to an all never level of enjoyment. My wife had the seared ahi tuna with a duck confetti fried rice. I sampled it...another success story there. I've read plenty of reviews about the price...but I'm here to tell you that the $ is in perfect alignment with the quality, flavor and portions received. I have ZERO negative comments and for the sake of brevity I can only say this.....I WILL BE BACK!!!

Our waitress was kind and polite, but after we were initially seated, it felt like we were forgotten for a while. She did apologize, and the owner also came over to apologize, which I genuinely appreciated -- I understand that mistakes happen. However, we did mention that we were celebrating a birthday, and while we weren't expecting any sort of spectacle, it was disappointing that dessert wasn't even offered and the check was simply dropped at the end of the meal. As for drinks, the espresso martini was a bit too bitter for my taste. The lavender fizz had a nice flavor, though the texture was more puréed than expected -- not a bad thing, just interesting. The food itself was the highlight. The Brussels sprout appetizer was delicious, and my ribeye was cooked perfectly. The truffle mushroom side was excellent as well. I would give Stone Creek another try because the food was strong, but the service didn't quite match the quality of the meal this time.

I really enjoyed Bar Argos. My girlfriend and I wandered in right at 4 pm - opening time lol - and…read morewere immediately greeted by a woman who checked our IDs and handed us menus with quiet efficiency. The place was totally empty, which is to expected at that time. Bar Argos is definitely a vibe. Think: antique chic with a touch of eccentric elegance. Ornate chairs, old-school lamps, and fancy mismatched furniture are scattered throughout, making you feel like you've wandered into a vintage movie set where cocktails play a leading role. There are multiple rooms, including one with a long table and huge windows that let the light spill in dramatically. I was lowkey stunned by how pretty it all was. Girlfriend and I shared the Clarified Lassi ($13), which is under the "Delightfully Unusual" section of their cocktail spectrum - right in between "Colloquial" and "What?!" It was fruity, creamy, and weird in a cool, sophisticated way. My Hotelie friend later explained in the car (upon mention of the drink) that clarified cocktails use a process where milk is added to a mixed drink and then curdled on purpose. The curds trap impurities, and when you strain them out, you're left with a crystal-clear drink that still has the creamy mouthfeel. Definitely checks out with the Clarified Lassi that we drank... Overall, the experience felt like stepping into a fancy secret. 10/10 would come back, undoubtedly!!
