Fun spot to be able to grab some decent food, great drinks, and play arcade games! Bartenders are definitely very busy, but they do a good job of being attentive and engaging considering they are slammed. Worth a stop in. I love their D&D die roll to pick a drink, so fun!! They also play YouTube and other gaming videos, which is really hitting all the gamer types.

Here I tried the Charmander Sliders for the first time. My first impression of this place was amazing! I appreciate a restaurant that features artists, and appreciates culture and is welcoming. The staff at Three Lives know how to make you laugh, make you feel welcomed, and deliver exceptional service. I recently joined the discord server! I was amazed to see what a community Three Lives has built! A safe space for all to enjoy. Here I have also tried some of the best bar drinks I could have locally. I highly recommend this establishment!

The image shows a bar with multiple bartenders serving drinks, surrounded by a variety of liquor bottles. Behind them, three digital screens display colorful game graphics and artwork, including a cartoon character and a desert scene. The wall features graffiti-style art with abstract faces and shapes. The setting has vibrant lighting, creating a lively atmosphere typical of a gaming-themed bar or arcade venue.

Fun stop for our final stop on my Birthday girls night out. It was packed, standing room only. My friend was able to squeeze up to the bar and got me a potion with pomegranate and other fruit flavors. Food was still coming out of the kitchen at 11pm, looks like good option for late night service. 80's video game bar theme, I believe they host game night events. Would be fun to check out games, and food options. They had roll for shots but was not offered the option to play. The street was blocked off by police and patrol cars lit up most of the area making it difficult to get an uber from the location.

Kids enjoying the arcade games - Two boys are standing in front of arcade game machines in a retro-themed bar or arcade. The machines display classic video games, including titles like 'Mortal Kombat' and 'Tetris.' The background features a brick wall decorated with framed posters and artwork related to gaming and pop culture. The setting appears lively and nostalgic, with colorful game screens and a casual atmosphere.

Very neat place. Not too loud, not too quiet. Neat arcade games for the kids and adults to play. Food is good, good sized menu and brunch menu on Sunday! Nice people, good service and polite and helpful.

Arcade games - A person with dark hair tied back, wearing a light-colored hoodie, is engaged in playing Pac-Man on a digital arcade game machine. The game screen displays the classic maze and characters, and the arcade environment features colorful artwork and signage in the background.

Had so much fun here after a birthday dinner downtown! Their creative drink menu has something for everyone, and the presentation is spectacular. Spaces that provide alc and non alc options are important, and having the option to play arcade games brought the birthday to a new level!

A fun and unique place for the Syracuse area. All the food is delicious but I particularly love the tendies. The fries are yummy but the TOTs are special. Fries, tots, and tendies are all coated in a delicious spice blend. My sauce of choice is the nacho cheese (homemade) with the pepper sauce.. cheesey and spicy . Highly suggest rolling the D20 for a shot and/or one of their unique cocktails. Pictured is the Teafling, lightly sweet, a little bitter, and refreshing. They have a great range of sweet - not sweet cocktails, something for everyone. All ages are welcome but be sure to check your ID so you can "level up" each visit! They have a dozen or so arcade games, a few are free and the rest are 50¢. Keep an eye out for special events they host like trivia or video game tournaments!

Great idea for a Wednesday game night. Wing Wednesday where wings came out to be $1 each. Buffalo and lemon pepper was my favorite!

Roll for a shot! - A drink menu titled 'Roll for a Shot' lists a variety of themed cocktails and shots, each with ingredients and names. A 20-sided die with green numbers is placed on the menu, which is illuminated by purple lighting. The menu includes options like 'Critical Miss,' 'The Mimic,' and 'Master Chief,' among others, indicating a gaming or fantasy theme.

Met a couple friends for drinks before dinner and had a fantastic time. Had a potion to start and then rolled the die for my next drink which is a shot list. My friends and I had so much fun with Nick who was so beyond personable and attentive, really the whole team was but Nick primarily served us. The vibe and atmosphere are just welcoming and fun!!

This place is so fun! There is a large parking lot right next door so it was easy to find a spot and get right in. My friends and I cam e in on a Thursday evening and had no trouble getting a table. We were greeted by a friendly guy who also happened to be our server. The vibe is fun and relaxed. The food was amazing. They have a great selection of games. Everything about our visit was top notch. Highly recommend!

zombie shots - Two shot glasses containing layered, colorful beverages are positioned on a restaurant menu. The drinks have a green layer at the bottom, a yellow middle layer, and a foamy white top. One glass is in sharp focus, while the other is slightly blurred in the background. The menu underneath features various food and drink options, indicating a dining setting.

I love how it is decorated inside with all the wall murals and local art. It is kind of small and not a ton of seating space. As someone short I found their high top tables to be extra high. It was a bit of a struggle and not the comfiest. Been here a few times and the service is always on point. I love all the arcade games you can play, just wish there was a pinball machine. The drinks are fun and inventive. The sliders I had were very tasty. I wasn't a fan of the chicken tendies. I didn't mind them being chicken thighs but the breading was off.

I am a Syracuse native, I started going to Three Lives this past September after passing by and being curious about it for a year since moving back to the city, and I was NOT disappointed. The bar food is great, I've had their burger and tots. The drinks are fun and whimsical and the bartender I see there frequently (Mike?) is a great alchemist when it comes to requesting a custom drink. More importantly to me than all that, Three Lives is the safest and most inclusive bar I've been to in Syracuse. The staff offers great banter and is funny and cheeky without being mean or rude. This is a great place to just meet up with friends and not feel concerned about other people being weird or creepy to you. This stand out experience a couple months ago, that will keep me a loyal customer (the only time someone was weird and creepy to me): my bartender straight up made a man leave the bar after bothering my friend and I and joking about roofie-ing our drinks. I do truly hope it was just a joke, but I felt incredibly safe seeing the level of awareness and how seriously the staff takes that kind of thing, just being able to recognize that we were being made uncomfortable and swiftly addressing it meant a lot to me.

Right side, more seating - The image shows a bar interior with several patrons seated at tables, engaging in conversation and activities. The decor includes pixel art heart symbols on illuminated signs and a mural with a dragon design on a brick wall. A television mounted on the wall displays a scene from a video game, and the lighting has a purple hue, creating a retro gaming atmosphere.

I have been here many times, with many groups, and it's always a great time! The winner is definitely the roll for a shot- a D20 die with 20 options! They also have perfectly themed potion bottle drinks, fun dry ice and giant shareables. Watch them at the bar - it's truly an art form! Then for the food - definitely recommend trying the tots with many sauces. They also have pretty killer sliders. Even if you believe the food is "subpar" & the drinks are "too sweet," they are always hosting cool events (movie nights, Pajama brunches) and collabs with other local businesses, like Sweet on Chocolate!

Three Lives was an interesting experience. I didn't know what to expect going in with its gaming theme and what it would be like. My initial picture of it was a more gaming focused experience vs a restaurant first experience. I was very wrong. It is a restaurant first with a gaming theme and some arcade games to play if you wish. There's nothing inherently wrong with this but hopefully this review helps everyone understand what they are walking into. The food and drinks themselves our party had were great! The sliders were very good, the tots were fantastic and the drinks were well made. They have a large variety of dipping sauces to choose from as well which I always appreciate. This is certainly not a place for a wide variety of vegan options or someone more health conscious but they certainly appeared willing to do whatever they could to accommodate my party's requests. The staff was incredibly kind and service was great. The game theming was really fun and well done. If you do play any games they will show off if you earned the high score! The place is actually much smaller than I would have imagined but there are a few tables and a bar for seating. It's an easy place to recommend and I look forward to going back. And if you decide to go, Enjoy!!

Southern Fried Sliders Sweet Potato Fries Maple Icing Aioli & Max Health Potion - The image shows a bar counter with a pink cocktail in a flask-shaped glass with a straw, placed on a white surface. In the foreground, there is a tray with fried food and a sandwich. The background includes a bar area with bottles, a bartender, and a television screen. A menu is also visible on the table.

TPOH nailed it: "Speaking of hearing, I can't take too much loud music I mean I like to play it, but I sure don't like the racket" I'm starting here, with the vibe, which sets the scene, dig? Decor-wise, it's luxe lounge, and is a welcome surprise in the Salt City. We use Resy, and...either the hostess misheard our party size, didn't really care, didn't really doublecheck to read our actual reservation, or whatever man, that's just your opinion. So, the backroom might have been a bit better suited for us olds, we were ushered into the front room. Not the window, but pretty darn close. Again, fun for people watching, inside and out. But damn it kids, if you have a DJ, I want to talk to Sir Vibes A Lot and ask them how they think thumping house music actually aids in digestion? Maybe I unconsciously started chewing to the unrelenting 4/4 beat, anything's possible. Now onto the menu, and back to the identity crisis. Like a lot of places, the York has a broad spectrum of offerings. Burger. Nashville Hot. Multiple pasta options. Sure, sure, sure. The porkchop with kimchi fried rice was the clear winner, hands down. The chicken, mashed and greens took second place (but I'll give ya a pro tip chef: the longer you cook your greens, the better they are). The salmon was a distant third because everything bagel seasoning is a lot after a while, and the veg was uninspired. Our TL:DR recommendation is come for cocktails and poutine. The poutine satisfied by itself. Our server was great- thanks, Destiny!

It's not uncommon for a new restaurant to impress the first time, only to fall short on subsequent visits. Touché, however, proves to be a welcome exception. Their continued commitment to quality, creativity, and classic French influences remains evident in every aspect of the dining experience. Several days before our reservation, I received a courteous text from the charming and attentive hostess, Bridgette, requesting details about the members of my dining party, including names and dietary restrictions. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by name and seated at a table adorned with a personalized name card--an unnecessary but thoughtful and memorable gesture that set the tone for the evening. I selected the very reasonably priced three‑course prix fixe menu ($70), while the rest of my party opted for the Steak Frites. My starter, a colossal scallop, was beautifully seasoned and perfectly cooked. While the nettle purée could have used a touch more vibrancy, it still complemented the bright yuzu dressing well. The main course--a perfectly cooked half duck breast accompanied by roasted celeriac purée and a currant‑cassis jus--was a standout. The deep berry notes paired beautifully with the richly rendered duck fat. Although I typically gravitate toward savory dishes, the dessert was an impressive finale: a Sablé Breton with blood orange cream, thyme Chantilly, thyme jam, and a rocher of coffee ice cream. The combination of sweet, salty, and herbaceous elements was wonderfully balanced and thoroughly enjoyable. I was fortunate enough to try a few bites of the Steak Frites, which did not disappoint--nor did it for the other members of my party. Our meals were complemented by excellent cocktails from the well‑stocked bar. The bartender was knowledgeable, skilled, and engaging. The open‑concept kitchen is also a delight to observe, and I look forward to reserving a seat at the chef's table on my next visit. One of the ongoing challenges in the Syracuse dining scene, in my opinion, is a general lack of restraint. Touché distinguishes itself with its thoughtful menu design, technical precision, and appropriate portion sizes. We left feeling thoroughly attended to and perfectly satiated. I sincerely hope Touché continues its pursuit of excellence both in the kitchen and in the dining room. Syracuse needs restaurants of this caliber, and I eagerly anticipate their spring and summer menus.
