And the gaming decor, arcade games, and twitch streams really tie the whole theme together. The drinks are the cherry on top of what makes this the best gaming bar around. We went there on a weeknight and I can't say enough good things about them! First of all, although it's a small space they make up for it with a vibrant ambience and really cool murals. We ordered their Super Smash fries which came along with 2 potions and was more than enough for 2 people. Shout-out to the server who came up with their hot sauce. It was spicy as we like it and hit the spot! For drinks, we got the Estus Flask and Potion of Strength and they were delicious. This whole combo was for $35 which I thought was fair. Vegetarian/Vegan options were also available. We had a good time trying the limited old time arcade games available but we mostly switched between Mario and Pacman! Can't say enough good things about this bar. Hands down my new favorite in Central NY. The drinks are creative and delicious. They ignite, bubble, glow, and come in Instagram-worthy beakers, vials, and potion bottles. Rolling the 20-sided die for one of their 20 specialty shots is a fun game in itself. I rolled 4 times throughout the night and loved every drink I landed on (especially a fan of the Funky Kong and Plasma Grenade). The food is equally delicious and on-theme. The chicken ("Nintendies") and loaded tots are crispy and flavorful and the portions are generous. The staff is attentive and friendly and the prices are fair! The atmosphere is vibrant and lively. The murals on the walls are unique and cool (not to mention, they contain hidden 'Easter eggs' that were fun to discover). The arcades are retro and nostalgic and pair nicely with the more modern games being played and streamed at the bar. The owner (aka 'Final Boss') Jon was there that night going around introducing himself and making sure his guests were having a good time. We showed up to Three Lives on a snowy day this past weekend. There were 7 of us, and we showed up around 2 pm for a late lunch. The owner was out front shoveling, and welcomed us in with open arms. We were traveling from Massachusetts back to Ohio and made a special stop just for this place. I wish it wasn't during COVID because the games looked to all be in great condition. The staff followed all the COVID regulations to a T. The food was killer! Burgers were delicious and the sides were exceptional. I got the vegan chili and my wife got the pickled veggies. Some of the best sliders I've ever had and you can tell they use good ingredients, man it was excellent seriously. This place is awesome. We walked in randomly without a reservation tonight, and were already outside the building leaving, but Alex comes running out and says he had a table for us. THANK GOODNESS HE DID! The food was amazing, the games were a nostalgia trip, and the drinks were great as well! When we saw this place on Yelp, we just had to go and check it out - it's an "old school"/divey kind of place, with lots of video games, TVs for watching sports, and (of course) a full bar - they even serve a bit of food to break up your drinking ;-) At the bar they've got all the usual drinks, beers, and wine; they even have "healing potions" inspired by the video games, all of which are double-shots. I have been here several times. Each time we have had fun. The food is very tasty from what I have tried. The space is quite small and not somewhere you would go for a nice sit down dinner. This is more of a place where you get drinks and bar food, but that's just what your looking for some times. They have some fun cocktails and creative drinks, they also have just beer, Seltzers or ciders. This place is awesome. My family and I stumbled upon this place by mistake. I had no idea it was even there! We walked in and were blown away. It is a nerds dream. Arcade games, live streaming of professional gamers, anime on TV. Oh, and don't forget about the drinks modeled after video games! Need a boost? Get the energy potion. It's served in an awesome potion bottle! The thing that really excited us though was their D20 shot list. For $8, you could roll a 20 sided dice. They had a preset list if 20 drinks and whichever number you rolled is the shot you got (or you could roll again for $1). But don't roll a crit fail (1)! That shot sounds gross lol. But roll a 20 and you get double of whatever you want on the list. This was such a cool concept, we did two rounds. No crits, but everything we had was very good. Apparently the owner will be revamping the list of shots in the coming weeks to be more original. I look forward to returning! We did not have the opportunity to get food, but everything sounded great! I can't wait to come back. I would come here and play some PC games on my own laptop while sipping a mana potion. Thought it was great. Ordered online, parking looked like it would've been tough normally but I got a lucky spot out front to parallel park in. I got takeout and it was a quick pick up, the food was really good. Honestly 2 "sliders" are bigger than you'd expect and the perfect size for a small person like me to eat both and become stuffed, but you keep eating until it's gone cause it tastes that good. I love the idea, the execution of the menu, the leveling up system is very unique and the food has never been bad! The arcade games are fun for every age and the drinks are creative and unique! Leveling up unlockes new menu items and special quests which makes the experience so much more fun and interesting! The staff is truly wonderful and caring and very hardworking. This places has quickly become one of my favorite places in Syracuse and I will continue to come when I can and highly recommend friends and family. One of the machines ate my quarters and the owner was there to refund my quarters and give me some game tips. He was very nice and overall the bar has a really fun vibe.
