I love that the coffee bar opens earlier than the market. There were lots of people in getting coffee, tea and pastries. Today was just a coffee day for me so I wanted to try their cold draft Ube and Oat milk. It was amazing with a slightly nutty and vanilla flavor which was enhanced with oat milk. The day was perfect, so sunny but not real hot, and the outside seating area is beautiful. Comfortable seating enclosed with modern metal fencing and lots of fresh flowers in pots.**I left pictures of the outside seating before it was enclosed**

I always have great service when I come here. I think the drinks are reasonably priced and a lot of care goes into making them. They switch out their cocktail menu seasonally which I enjoy trying new things. It is a great space with lots of seating. From casual furniture, to high top tables and regular tables. The cortado tasted delicious. It is a great addition to the Salt City Market. They also have live music and other fun events through the year.

The girl at the counter was really welcoming, asked her about their different coffees. The coffee was good, wish I would have tried the cold brew lemonade.

Great place to grab a drink downtown. Located inside the salt city market. It is open later than the market, when the market closes, a gate comes down to separate the bar and the market. This place is truly where to go for artisanal cocktails. The bartenders really put a lot of work into making the cocktails and it shows. They have one of the best espresso martinis in town. Plenty of space at the bar, around the bar area and there's even outdoor seating with fire pits. Perfect place to hang out and get drinks with friends

The bar continues to bring their A-game with carefully crafted & beautifully constructed drinks! You can tell the bartenders have fun with it, taking time for each drink and they always taste great, never too sweet or boozy!

Im really not trying to be a jerk. You can see though my posts that this is rare to say. But the bartender here at salt city coffee might be the most pretentious and unwelcoming person I have ever been around in my 7000 mile food tour last year and now 2000 miles this year. The person with the hat and mustache yelled at anyone who sat at the chair that was too close to his register (first me who he told to move down then the next person who tried to approach the bar...just move the chair the ‍). . And while ordering with the super nice guy at the bar, he cut us off and berated me that my phone notes weren't in good enough view for him while I was showing the guy who was taking care of me. It was so bad that I almost walked out without a sip of my beer flight. I never felt so unwelcome at a food or beer stop.

The Expresso Martini was very good. The bartender was very attentive to us. Definitely a place to try when ever in Syracuse NY

Super tasty cocktails. Espresso martini is by far one of the best in Syracuse. The bar has a great ambiance, cozy vibes and plenty of seating when you consider its collaboration with the market. Cocktails are priced well, not crazy expensive.. you won't feel guilty getting a second. Bar tenders are pretty quick, even when there is a line. But sometimes you have to be patient because it can get crowded.

2 everything bagels with cream cheese, iced chai, shot of espresso served along with selzer, and a latte

Walked in on a quiet Tuesday late morning, and ordered right away. Decided to take a seat outside in the glorious sun to enjoy our treats. The service was good, at this time of day it was basically self-serve. The bagels with cream cheese were good and so was our coffees. In the photos below you'll see a latte, 2 bagels with cream cheese, a shot of espresso which was served with seltzer, and an iced chai. Thank you Salt City, when I'm in the area I'll be back!

My favorite place to cocktails in Syracuse. Always a variety and always delicious. Pictured is The Hades which was slightly herb, not too sweet, a great sipping cocktail.

The bagel with cream cheese was great and the coffee was what I needed for trio back to Northern Virginia. During my visit I noticed the bar and the outdoor sitting area. It shows potential for possible outdoor concerts during the warmer weather. The bar area , made me wonder about the atmosphere in that place.

I am so obsessed with this place and so sad I live all the way on the other coast! The Valencia Cold Brew (with oat milk) is out of this world and the avocado bagel was delish!!! I didn't get a chance to taste the Cereal Milk Latte but excited to in the event I'm ever back in Syracuse. Ambiance is beautiful and puts one in the mood to stay there all day.

I found myself with some work to do on a Saturday morning and decided to swing by. There's on street parking on the block it's on and surrounding blocks. There's also an abandoned store across the street with a small lot, which is where I wound up parking. The space is small but I didn't have any trouble finding a seat, though I imagine that might be a different case later in the day or during peak study time for the students. I got an ube iced coffee special with oat milk, and impulsively ordered the breakfast burrito too. I figured if they have shirts advertising the burrito, it must be good. The decor is very trendy and chic and well-curated, and you'll feel super hip hanging out here. The coffee was alright but my shot was a bit on the bitter side - assuming this was just a one-off. The breakfast burrito lived up to the hype. Fluffy eggs, perfectly crispy pressed tortilla, a flavorful aioli generously slathered all over the plate. Definitely one of the places to come (if not THE place) in Syracuse if you want a breakfast burrito. Unfortunately for me, the WiFi was down when I went, so I couldn't actually do my work and didn't stay long. Womp womp. Perhaps unavoidable, but definitely not ideal for a coffee shop. I wish I'd brought a book with me that day or had more time just to spend, because I'd say this spot is great for silent reading and unplugging more than working or socializing. Worth checking out, for the aesthetics and the tasty egg burritos.

There is always a pleasant vibe to it and often there are people chatting or working on laptops. Employees are always really nice. I really enjoy the Pandan Matcha. Its so hard to find pandan drinks in the area! I find the drinks are often really sweet and so its important to order them with no sugar or less sugar. The boba is okay although the straws they have been using lately are too small for them so they lose some of the shape and correct texture. A random thing I love about their drinks are they used a crushed ice, it makes it feel appropriately portioned to the drink itself. Although I am not a coffee person, the cafe lattes are my partner's favorite in the area and they are highly customizable. It's also nice that they offer a carrier when you have a few drinks to-go. Interestingly, the cake and desserts are the weaker part for me for Cake Bar. They are often pretty dry for my tastes. My favorite has been the potato chip cookies, but I have only seen them a few times. The chicken wing dip buns are pretty good and filling though and are worth trying! Overall its a great stop and a nice place to bring friends when they stop by or to hang out whilst doing some work.
