We also got the Grits bowl with an added fried chicken cutlet and added sauteed vegetables. Everything was nicely prepared and plated. Our server checked back with us several times, refilled our water and made sure everything was going well. There was nobody in there but us, and it was very quiet which was different since we usually go on weekends. It was interesting, just didn't know that was the vibe on weekdays. The bartender helped us immediately and we got out drink quickly. Now, my complaint is the price. This small cheese board was $25, it doesn't look as small in the pictures, but I promise the board was TINY. A quarter of a baguette, prepackaged olives, a few bites of cheese each? NOT worth the money. If I come back, I will not be getting any food that's for sure..::

We checked out the coffee lounge first and got espresso martini and chatted. The decor was a homey feel and I can see myself coming back meeting up with friends for coffee and catching up. Then we headed to the speakeasy and had the seasonal cocktails and just ordered salads and sweet potato fries. Everything was delicious. The salads and fries were simple and I like my "girl dinner" lol. I was told to come back for their brunch so that's on the list. The atmosphere and vibes were cozy, a great place to unwind and catch up or like us celebrate a special occasion. Both service in the coffee lounge and speakeasy were welcoming. I see that they host tons of events so I'll definitely have to check those out. Also can't wait to check out the rooftop lounge once they warmer weather returns. They are utilizing the space with bubble tents with reservations, so that's a fun idea. A cute and fun spot on Tipp hill to definitely check out.

The flatbread was a disappointment, there was no sauce on the pizza and it was just way too bland for the price.... The service was extremely slow with 3 people working and all the customers in the lounge seemed to be sitting around in the same situation that I was in. Won't be coming back...

Very thoughtful work done by the (I'm assuming) sous chef and dessert chef. Each of them clearly put passion and thought into the dishes they provided us. Very pretty spot and nice to have something enjoyable in Syracuse like this! Gorgeous spot both for a tasting and the decor/vibe!

The crab rangoons were crispy, and I liked the dipping sauce. We had the calabrian rigate as our entree. The pasta sauce was delicious, but the chicken was tough and overcooked. But it failed to deliver. The space was large roomy but noisy. And very nicely appointed. The staff was very friendly and attentive. These are the reasons for the stars. The food was meh. Nearly everything was tasteless. The shrimp ceviche was basically some cooked shrimp mixed with pico de Gallo and very thinly sliced avocado. We asked for more lime to give it a little kick. My steak fajitas were okay - the rice and beans flavorless. The portion was huge. My husband's enchilada burrito was "okay" we asked for some hot sauce; we were given a choice house or commercial - opted for house. It was bland. The Evergreen's menu itself is accessed through a QR code where their full list of options and specials are listed. My group opted to share the beer fries and they were taaaasty, pillowy soft, crunchy, and amazingly well seasoned. The vegetarian options are a regular part of the restaurant and the fried tofu I had was genuinely satisfying and well done. My cajun pasta was maybe a touch over but I was okay with it since it had my condiment obsession of chili crisp in it. The menu is well marked for dietary needs. A great thing of note is that they have women's, men's, AND an all-gender bathroom. I appreciate the inclusion in the food and restaurant itself. Car parking is street parking, it's accessible via the Centro bus system, and there is an artistic broken-chain shaoed bike rack just across the street from the restaurant.
