I've been meaning to try Angry Garlic for a while but haven't had the opportunity until now. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious! I ordered the Black Garlic Chicken and it was so moist and flavorful. We also ordered the Angry Garlic Bites as an app which was truly delicious as well. Our server Sierra was beyond attentive and made sure we were well taken care of. Will definitely add this to our rotation of restaurants to take visitors! read more

We celebrated my husband's birthday there last night, and knowing it would be bumping, we called and made a reservation. When my son's game at a local indoor center ran over by almost 30 minutes, I called and told them we would be late. They accommodated us and seated us immediately upon arrival. About 10 minutes later, at 8pm, the live music started. It was wonderful music, but where we were seated was in front of the speakers and two of our party wear hearing aides. When it looked like we were going to have to cut our celebration short, our server, the wonderful Marcy, and another gentleman, worked to get us seating in the lower dining room in front. We were so grateful for the accommodations, and everyone was super nice about it. The food and drinks were outstanding, of course. Our party ordered the chicken bowl, the chippy chicken, the curd burger, a cheeseburger, and the turkey avocado. Everyone was silent as they ate! The service was friendly and impeccable (even when we really weren't being easy customers), and our night, which could have gone south so quickly, was made! And hopefully a younger, hipper crew moved into our table and enjoyed the wonderful music! The band was great and we really enjoyed it still from where we ended up! So cheers to the staff at AG! We always enjoy taking a ride to BVILLE and having lunch at the Angry Garlic. Service by Jennifer was very good. The place wasn't busy when we first got there but then got busier. Jennifer was friendly and attentive. We had her on a previous visit. Great wine and craft beer selections. Starters, wings yummy perfectly cooked. We chose their Coffee bacon honey for a change. Excellent flavor. Garlic bites always amazing with great flavor. quesadilla special, typically I don't get them, but it sounded and was good. Spinach, tomato with their sliced meatballs in their Vodka Sauce. Really good combo. Very messy. Spouse had Shrimp Tacos. Excellent as well. Went with the wings, ordered 15 wings split between Roasted Garlic Buffalo, Sweet Heat and Jareds Wings. Was stuck between the AG burger (won 2nd place in NYS for best burger) and the Angry Bruiser. Decided on the Angry Bruiser and I was NOT disappointed. Taste was phenomenal, 5/5 for the burger. Homemade blue cheese and the blend of flavors was outstanding! Added a side of Garlic Fries and those were incredible too. Partner ordered the shaved steak sandwich with a side of garlic green beans, green beans were very good, shaved steak I think was very good as well but is a 4/5 when compared to the taste and flavor of the burger. I do like garlic but after this experience I have a different understanding of how they blend the garlic flavors together in different ways and I was definitely impressed. Ended with a dessert which was a nice birthday treat. Overall, it was just under $70 for everything which is pretty fair considering what and how much we ordered. I keep trying to like this local establishment, but just can't get a great meal. We ate dinner during a busy night over the Thanksgiving holiday, so perhaps things were a little hectic. Our drink order was correct, but there were several issues with our dinner; wrong size salad, wrong entree and they forgot to serve us our appetizer. Food is okay. Angry Garlic is one of my CNY faves! Today, our table shared the Roasted Garlic Bread Dip ($15) and it was tasty! The bread was sturdy, but soft, and the cheese dip was nicely browned on top. It came with 8 pieces of bread. I ordered the French Onion Steak (8oz, $26). The steak was sliced and cooked perfectly to my medium rare request. It had extra caramelized onions and garlic on top. I do think the black garlic mash was a little dry, but the flavor of the steak truly won me over and I would order it again. My parter ordered the Cajun Shrimp & Garlic Alfredo ($22) which he stated it was his favorite restaurant Alfredo. He really loved the flavor and said he'd also order it again. It was busy so we did wait a bit for refills, but the service is always kind and I do love the food so I will always come back. P.S. For all the good reviews I thought I would try this place for dinner. My server was mid, came over maybe 3 times through my whole experience and one time was waiting 20 minutes to just get my check. The steak was fatty and bland laying on a pile of mashed potatoes that tasted like nothing but butter. Pretty sure box potato's would taste better. My mother's panini bread was burnt and actually tasted like burnt toast and the au jus was just brown colored water.They did comp her dinner but what a waste, people need to post actual reviews of places because all the "good" reviews have to be bots. read more

This is a popular place with the locals so you need to call ahead to get a reservation. Tip- can be pretty loud inside and the seating is not super comfortable. Great place to eat in baldwinsville, lots of great food and everything I have tried recently has tasted great. Some of my favorite are the shrimp tacos and turkey and avocado BLT. Lots of specialty drinks to chose from, and tons of beers on the list. Service has been great. Lots of bar seating which is usually were we like to sit. We sat at the bar and ordered ice teas, and the bartender didn't bat a lash. We ordered their roasted tomato garlic soup, 1/2 bruschetta chicken wrap, tots, and five Sriracha garlic wings. Food came out, but relatively quickly and was superb! I thought the Sriracha garlic wings to be absolutely delicious! I also enjoyed the few spoonfuls of my wife's soup that I was able to have and the tater tots were crisp and hot. I decided on a local IPA pint to wash my wings down as well. I came here on a girls night out and it was very packed when we showed up so I highly recommend a reservation. They do have a bar area and had live music playing on certain nights. We were seating off the front into the dining area where it was a little quieter. The place smells of garlic and our food was delicious! Highly recommend the angry garlic bites. Those seem to be a hit for everyone! I chose the chicken panini and it was so good and large (I could only eat half). I'm also picky with my French fries but their fries were awesome! I did eat all of those. I did want to try a desert but was just so full. Our waitress is so nice and answered some questions we had about the food which her answers were helpful. The only thing is it did take a while for our food to come out. However I did appreciate our waitress telling us in advance so we knew it was going to be a little bit because it was busy but our food came out nice a hot! We had made a reservation for 5:30 on a Saturday and arrived at 5:10 and our table was ready so we sat right on down. Our server was absolutely amazing and one nice thing that I appreciate is that she came out with waters when she came to greet us and find out what other drinks we may like. Now onto the food, it was all very good! My husband loved his angry party melt and the burger was cooked perfectly. It comes with the chips and they are really good! He got a side of Jared's sauce to dip his chips in. I had the special which was a shrimp in a creamy garlic sauce and was delicious! I was surprised how much shrimp was in the dish and that the garlic flavor was the but not overpowering. Angry Garlic remains top notch! They make fabulous dishes that are simply scintillating. Today we had the garlic Naan with artichoke and red peppers and it was melt in your mouth with balanced and bursting flavors. For main courses we got the BBQ chicken and bacon wrap with side of garlic rice and the Angry Garlic Cesar Salad and a plate of fries to share. All of it was wonderful and enough cannot be said about how well they execute flavors and cook on all of their dishes. Also we ordered a couple of cocktails and they were of course lovely.
