onestly don't understand the hype. We walked past this coffee shop and saw a long line outside, so we decided to give it a try. We waited about 10 minutes for our drinks, but it was pretty disappointing. The line was long, the wait was long, and the coffee was expensive -- around $7 for a large. We ordered the Orange Oolong Coffee. To be honest, it tasted more like boba tea than coffee -- very sweet, without any of the bitterness or acidity you'd expect from coffee. If you're into bubble tea-style drinks, you might enjoy it. But if you're looking for real coffee flavor, I'd skip it.

Definitely a hidden gem in the Metro Square plaza! I've always wanted to come because of the wide selection of drinks. I saw a huge bag of The Library coffee beans, so I knew it would be good and different (unlike most coffee shop who uses Hatch coffee beans). We ordered the Tiramisu Latte (my absolute favorite drink from Mos Mos) and Grapefruit Sparking Americano, both iced. The drinks took about 15 minutes because there were only two cashiers/baristas. The "owner" was mainly incharged of the syrups and milk, while the other barista was incharged of the cash and espresso. You can adjust the sweetness and ice level so I asked for less sweet because the traditional recipe is super sweet. The drink turned out to be perfect! They will tell you to taste the drink first and if it's not strong or sweet enough, they would give you more at no charge. Most of the drinks come with a double shot, so I would say it's enough. I will come back!

Really like how this cafe is opened early on a weekend compared to some others! It's a smaller little cafe little shop with two tables, so it's more of a grab and go. The matcha coconut was light and creamy with very not a strong coconut flavour! There was just one worker but she was so sweet! And made our drinks in a timely manner

I was attracted to this place when I found out that you could customize your latte art! You can do…read moreso either by downloading their app and sending them a picture that they'll "print" onto your drink or you can just order your beverage and they'll surprised you with some latte art (like our marshmallow friend in the pictures here). The mocha we ordered was delicious, adequate in chocolate notes paired with espresso. I want to say that the drinks were the highlight of my experience here. They have a few special menu items, like the unagi pizza - which I found was not the best in terms of taste. I can't pick out exactly what it is, but something on there wasn't to my liking. Either way, interesting menu item to try. To finish off, I ordered some cotton candy for my sister. I was disappointed that they said they ran out of the paper cones/sticks for the cotton candy, so they offered it to me in brown paper bags. Parking is alright as well in the plaza, since there's a lot else within.

The space itself is bright, cozy, and modern. It's great for a casual brunch. The menu focuses on creative takes on classic brunch dishes, with most plates around $18-$25 and drinks about $6-$9. We tried the pork sausage shakshouka, pork jowl eggs benny, and a strawberry matcha latte. The drink was a standout--refreshing, nicely layered, and not overly sweet. The dishes themselves had good flavors and promising concepts. Unfortunately, the experience started off rough. Despite having a reservation, we waited over 30 minutes for a table during the busy Saturday brunch rush, and parking around the plaza was difficult. When the food arrived, the eggs in both the eggs benny and the shakshouka were overcooked, which was disappointing since runny yolks are key to both dishes. Overall, Corner Cafe has a nice vibe and an interesting brunch menu, but the long wait, tough parking, and inconsistent execution made the experience fall short this time.

It's nice that there is one in Richmond hill now as the other location was near Markville before. Service 4/5 wasn't too busy when we went in afternoon. Easy to be seated, staff are attentive. Food 4/5 Eggs Benedict with Smoke Salmon was great. The chicken fettucine with spinach was also very tasty. The portions are comparable for a GTA uptown location. Will definitely revisit to try the rest of the menu.

First they offer a wide variety of coffees on their menu ranging from espresso, to macho, too dirty matches and teas. Coffee flavor is strong and flavorful. Lattes are quite good. They even remember what I ordered last time and provide suggestions on what to order this time. It's a cute place, small but cute. Few seats, multiple workers. They've added several new drinks recently, including seasonal specials, as well as a dirty matcha and hojicha latte. Their pastries are made fresh daily and are absolutely delicious. The coffee never disappoints it's strong and full of flavor. The hojicha I ordered wasn't powdery at all and had a rich taste. I liked that they didn't had too much syrup but you could still taste the strawberry b The only downside is the size of the café. It's quite small, with just a tiny table that seats two, so it's mainly suited for takeout. I'd definitely visit more often if there were more seating, since I love having a coffee spot where I can also study.

They have 3 locations…read more(Mississauga, Scarborough, and Markham), where this particular location is located in Markham, near Woodbine and Esna Park Drive. The entrance of Omventure is somewhat hidden where it faces the back of a big building housing several different businesses (mainly restaurants). A great place for kids, teens, families, as well as young adults, the space houses a variety of escape rooms with different difficulty levels, where there is a suggested number of people needed per room. Depending on the difficulty of the escape room, you are given either 60 min, 90 min, or 120 min to solve or escape the room. You are able to book your escape room ahead of time, which is highly recommended. They do have family and kid friendly escape rooms available as well. Also, the use of phones is not allowed when you play the escape rooms - if you do decide to bring your phone into the escape room and use it, you can cause your time in the escape room to end early (they have security footage throughout the rooms). This location also has an expansive board game area with many large tables and many games as well as a cafe selling bubble tea and snacks. There is also a gaming area with video game consoles as well. My party of 4 stopped by Omventure on a Saturday evening where we had booked the escape room "Kingdom of Cats" (60 min, 3/5 difficulty, best for 3-8 people). Upon entering, you pay at the counter where you can get discounts if you follow them on social media or if it is your birthday. Once ready, your belongings are placed in a single locker and you are asked to watch a video explaining the rules of the escape room. Staff also provide you with a walkie talkie where you can ask for unlimited hints if you are really stuck. Afterwards, staff lead you to your particular escape room. My party and I managed finish the "Kingdom of Cats" escape room in the allotted time, although we had to ask staff twice as we were stuck with what to do next. This particular escape room required us to solve puzzles and riddles while paying attention to our surroundings. There was a bit of crawling as we headed to at least 4 different rooms. It may seem confusing where to begin at first when you are placed in the room but with teamwork and communication, you end up figuring out what to do to move to the next step. This particular escape room isn't scary, but it is kid friendly and fun. The 60 min really flew by just like that as we had to use our brains in order to figure things out. I haven't done a lot of escape rooms but this one was really nicely designed with lots of details throughout. Moving through the different rooms was pretty cool and finding the clues and working as a team together allowed us to escape and finish. After we were finished with the escape room, staff came to get us and took our picture on the stage where we could choose different boards to hold up. Nice touch as a souvenir of the fun time you had while you were there. For an additional fee you can also play as many board games if you'd like, but we decided not to. Overall, a fun escape room adventure for everyone! Would love to try the more difficult and scary ones next time. Staff were great and the facilities were well maintained where the rooms very detailed. Great option to have a fun time with family or friends.

Apparently it's been around for a long time but I never realize its existence until now! It's a bit tucked away at the back of the Diana Seafood plaza on Woodbine. You might need to loop around the parking lot to find it, but it's certainly worth it once you are inside. The space is fine and decently laid out, so even with multiple groups, it does not feel overcrowded. They offer eight escape rooms, four game console stations, plenty of board games, a photo-taking area with fun signages, an open beverage bar (non-alcoholic... probably), and lots of good-sized tables for groups. It is a great setup for parties. We booked a birthday package that included three hours of hangout time (board games, consoles, photo area), one large pizza, eight drinks, and a one-hour escape room for eight kids. Paper plates and cutlery were provided, and parents could relax while the kids played. Bring your own cake and other refreshments with no hassle. Well-manner staffs are helpful and easy to work with. At around CAD $430 including tax, it felt reasonable, especially since the kids had an absolute blast.
