There's about 7 or 8 tables available, and I sat down at one of the smaller tables since those were the only ones available. There's QR codes on each table so you can order what you want through your phone. They also deliver your food/drinks to your table. I ordered the blueberry matcha latte, which I was pleasantly surprised about! It had just the right amount of sweetness, and the blueberry flavour pairs so well with the matcha. I'd definitely order it again! There is a 75 minute seating policy. however, I'm not too sure if they strictly enforce that. I did work for about an hour and there were people who came before me that were still there. It is a very busy cafe, so if you can't study in a noisy area, I would recommend bringing noise-cancelling headphones or going to a different cafe. Overall, the cafe has a great aesthetic and a short but quality menu. I'll be back when I'm craving a decent matcha!

I always recieve a warm welcome from all staff and they go out of their way to hand you your order, hold doors open for you as you leave, and to always thank you for your patronage. They're also dog-friendly! The store front is rather small, so usually I will wait outside with my dogs until my order is ready, but I can slip inside with my dog(s) and order with no issue. The drink quality is great. I haven't had a single drink from here that I didn't enjoy. And the pastries, too! Their corn and cheese croissant?? To die for. Definitley my favourite treat from Tangy. I also recently tried their miso glazed apple Danish--also delicious! The condensed milk in the Spanish latte and the coconut milk in the other were both fresh and delicious, harmonizing beautifully with the espresso. I really enjoyed all three drinks. The pastries? Oh BOYYY, they were delicious. Everything is made in-house - you can literally see them preparing the pastries in the back. My favourite was the corn croissant. As any Taiwanese person knows, we love our fucking corn; we put it in pizza, spaghetti, and bread. The corn croissant at Tangy Cafe is Taiwanese corn-love done right. The croissant was incredibly flaky, complemented by savoury, sweet, and umami bursts of corn kernels and cheese. ARGH, gibe me more of that. Last but not least, the service was 1000000/10. Tangy Cafe has that authentic Taiwanese standard of customer service. The baristas and staff are always warm, attentive, and kind to every customer. Visiting Tangy Cafe made me miss Taiwan a lot. They did forget to bring my carrot cake with it, so I did have to ask for it as I was leaving, but they were apologetic about it. The carrot cake was really good! Most recently I had their cocoa flavored latte and it did not disappoint. It comes with Cocoa, some of their classic syrup, there are 3.25% milk and espresso sauce. It is nice and sweet and definitely has a great mocha flavor without being too sweet. I came back the next day and got their green tea espresso latte which was also very good. I would definitely come back. The lady at the front desk is very nice and you can ask for more espresso shots if it is too sweet or other preference you have is usually honest free of charge.
