Service: The young woman working the register also cleans up the tables, which we didnt know. So I guess when she flips the pad for a tip, keep that in mind. My girlfriend got basically the same thing but in wrap/gyro form, with an eggplant dip appetizer. The restaurant is called ZK Grill, but I think it would be more appealing if they added what kind of food they serve (like Afghan/Mediterranean) to the name. That would help attract more people. But this Friday evening the experience was not what we have learned to expect.The atmosphere was rather "triste", the hostess was on her phone and some dark elevator Musik was playing. We ordered the Greek salad with chicken and the gyros entree. Unfortunately the salad dressing tasted like it was a store bought bottle and the gyros like it was reheated in the microwave, not crispy at all. I'm always on the hunt to find a good Mediterranean restaurant and I found one here in ZK! The portions are very generous here and everything is really good and tasty. We ordered multiple places like the chicken and steak plate and we enjoyed the meat, which were tasty and cooked well, in addition to the heaping portion of rice and salad. The chicken entree is a grilled chicken for around $13. My personal favorite was the steak entree which was marinated and grilled. If you're sharing with someone, they also have a combo entree with both chicken and filet which I may get in the future. The fries have the perfect crisp to them and the gyro was good and had really balanced flavors. The gyro came out to around $10. I also enjoyed that the meal came with the garlic spread which is delicious on literally everything. We ordered from ZK the other night having enjoyed it thoroughly previously and we were left disappointed this time. The large tahini-heavy hummus (which I quite like but husband did not) came with ONE pita. We had so much leftover hummus and no pita. My falafel pita was extremely dry and loaded with very large pieces of lettuce and large thick slices of unripe tomato. Or was impossible to pick up, let alone eat. The falafel itself was very dry too. The baklava smelled and tasted strongly of cheap cinnamon and that overwhelmed any other flavor.
