This is the second time I went to Olives Mediterranean. It was as clean and bright as it was before. The menu has a large number of Greek foods and some specialty items such as ceviche and kale platter, to name a few. Another is the "Pizza Bubble", of which I saw no picture or description other than by its name. You order what you want from the signs above the counter. You find a seat. They serve you your food where you are seated. If you ordered a soda, you can get it before they serve you. The soda machine and the plastic silverware will be all the way to the left, behind where you are standing. If you look at the pictures, you will see Olives sells many types of pizza. On a previous trip, members of my party ordered pizza rather than Greek Sandwiches because the pizza was,l they said, that good. The sandwiches are so full that you cannot fold them over. The Pitas are generously filled. You won't be able to fold the pita in half. You can get yourself a knife or a fork at the soda machine. This is a nice, clean, and quiet place to have lunch or dinner. There is a big selection to choose from. If the food is not enough to get you there, then Alidi and Ikea just do it. IKEA has not opened yet. Aldi is already open. read more

Came for a late lunch, they have a decent lunch special, the soup Toscana is always excellent. The place is always clean & inviting. I was going to go with the special (2 for 1) unfortunately that's a limited menu. The shrimp scampi with angel hair pasta, it was marginal; the shrimp is boiled & added to the pasta, not baked in butter with breadcrumbs. The bread is good. The service in the bar was quick & pleasant, almost too quick, I would've liked to finish my soup before getting the entree, they arrived about 2 minutes apart. read more

Good food and very large gyro portions. Service was friendly but we had to wait several minutes when we walked up to place order. Cashier was on the phone, but I think it might have been someone placing an order. Restaurant was nice and clean. I'd go back, but I'd like a smaller gyro for a lower price. Some friends recommended Olives recently and it just so happened that later that evening, my daughter and I were in the area and decided to check it out. It was a Friday and there were a handful of other customers, but service was friendly and fast... We ordered at the counter and sat down at a table and the food arrived within minutes. We shared a large platter with chicken, salad, rice falafel and hummus / pita. We ended up ordering a second salad as we both enjoyed that most. Prices was affordable and the experience was good... I'll start of and say the food wasn't bad. It was cooked good but didn't have much flavor which I can't be too upset about given you can add salt and pepper. Chicken was cooked well but the sauce that came with it also was somewhat bland. The service was good so can't complain there. I do have to point out there was a couple dead bugs lying around and one was next to a table behind me. The price is what I'd expect for any restaurant nowadays but for the quality of food given it wasn't very well seasoned, it is a little pricey. The fries that came with my wrap also tasted frozen. Appreciated the service just wish the food wasn't more tasteful. The bugs might've added some flavor. I guess I have to try it next time. read more

I have eaten at Olives off and on over the years, and while I initially thought they were just okay many years ago, over the last several years, any time I have eaten there, I've been impressed. From the food to the service to the promotions, I've been sold that this really is a great Mediterranean grill restaurant! The staff seem to really be passionate and wanting to offer a quality and flavorful meal for a great deal to customers. They make their pita and pizza dough (yes, they actually have pizza!) from scratch. Yum! Whether you order falafel or any of the other dishes, their Mediterranean recipes will get you thinking of them when you order from another similar restaurant. Great flavors! I also was struggling to figure out what to order today so I asked for some suggestions. I ended up going for the Philly Pita, which was delicious! I opted not to go for a combo meal though they had a bunch of great options if I was hungrier than I was. They had a pita option and a soft bread option. I tried the second today as I had the pita previously. Both were great! The best part was that I had barely sat down before my meal was ready and brought to where I was sitting. Amazing! Speaking of seating, there was plenty of seating available. They are open Monday through Friday from 11 AM to 8 PM, Saturday from 11 AM to 7 PM, and Sunday from 11 AM to 3 PM. If you go to their website (https://olives.cafe), you can see their menu, provide feedback, and order online. Also, after your first purchase, you can sign up for their reward program and earn points on every order that you can then use to redeem for a discount on future orders. I haven't been there in more than a year and found I had more than $5 in credit when I stopped by today. Just make sure to select the loyalty program on the bill pay screen before you pay to get credit. Plus, sometimes they e-mail out coupons (I had a 20% off coupon today to use). Even Yelp had a discount at one point there where you got 20% off by saying a fun phrase of theirs. Easy to save some money when going there for good food! I live near Olives, so I really don't know why I don't go more often. After today, I have every reason to plan to do so again in the near future, and perhaps I'll bring my wife or others instead of just a book next time. read more

Stopped by Olives for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the food and great customer service. I was greeted upon arrival and exit by the restaurant cashier/staff. They made sure to ask if I had any questions pertaining to the menu. As a pescatarian they had a few options for me and I decided to go with the vegetarian plate. The sauces were very good and the food also. I took my order to go and did not wait longer than 7 minutes for it to be ready. I would return again in the future. I was given a 10% discount on my order and I made sure to tip! They also gave me a 15% off card for next time i decide to come back. This place is great! It's casual and they are fast. I've tried all the hummus flavors and they are all soooooo good, and the pita is so fluffy, warm, and tasty. Every time I order online, my order is always ready when it says it will be. The only reason I took a star away is because the portions are small for the price and the chicken kabob isn't consistent - sometimes it's extra flavorful and other times it's bland. Wahhh, based on the reviews, I really really wanted to love this spot more! I have a local Greek spot in my neighborhood that I visit weekly so I had some high expectations going in. The service was friendly and pretty quick but I was the only person in there for most of the wait. I got the grilled chicken plate which came with rice, 2 very sad looking tomato slices, and some red onions. It comes with a side of tzatziki and warm pita which were both great! Thank goodness for the sauce because the dish definitely needs it. I added on a small Greek salad, all totaling to $15, and it just didn't knock my socks off. It was pretty basic! The Greek salad dressing was delicious and seems like they do make it in house, which is a plus! :) I prefer crumbled feta because the two little cubes just didn't hit every bite. I also ordered some chicken tenders for my son and they looked even worse quality than the freezer tenders that I buy at the grocery store but hey, he ate them! All in all, I've had tastier fast casual Mediterranean food but if you're in the area and in need of a healthy food option, it is a decent one! read more

Ashureena picked what I ordered because I am a picky foodie from California and I always trust the staff knows what's best. I inhaled every bite and should've ordered the Baklava also but I am trying to watch my sleek, Porsche like figure. I recently moved to AZ and thank goodness this spot is so close to one of my jobs. I have passed by this quaint little place several times and finally decided to give this place a try. I decided on a chicken shawarma pita with a side of Tzatziki sauce. It seemed portable enough to eat;while driving home. I was also given a side of their garlic sauce. I have to say this is one of the best pitas I have ever tasted. The pita was so fresh, soft and pliable. The chicken was seasoned very well and their splice blend they used it was very warm. The spices they used were similar to a Chinese 5spice blend, which I really love. Their homemade sauces were really amazing they had body to them. I find that a lot of sauces are pretty watery and runny; this was not the case. I see they make a focaccia too! I can't wait to try one of theirs... I will definitely be back.
