They had to substitute burger buns instead of their standard bread. I wish I had looked at the reviews more closely before visiting, as this seems to be a trend: running out of key ingredients. Overall, the food quality just wasn't there, very low-quality ingredients for the price. The only reason for the two stars is the crew members; otherwise, it's a one out of five for us--no plans on returning.

The shop itself was cute and clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful. I was torn between several sandwiches because so many sounded amazing, so I asked for a recommendation. The points system is nice and it's easy to use their app or put your phone number in at the store. Our subs or bowls are always neatly packed and made. I ordered one hot sub and one salad and it took about 30 minutes from the time I placed my order until I actually got my food. 30 minutes to put meat, cheese, and dressing on bread. They messed up my sandwich; I had to interrupt them to stop them from putting lettuce on my sandwich when I explicitly stated when I ordered that I didn't want lettuce or tomato (I just picked the tomato off-you win some, you lose some). I ordered a side of ranch that they didn't give me; I ended up telling them to forget about it because I didn't have 10 more minutes to wait for them to put ranch in a cup. The cashier's explanation was that the grill guy was "running behind" when that wasn't actually the issue: he simply couldn't keep up to begin with. There was no sense of urgency; he looked like he was completely lost. I couldn't take that long if I was deliberately moving as slowly as I possibly could-and this guy is only making hot sandwiches: the cashier is making all of the cold subs. There was no offer of a discount. No "hey, take a cookie" to make up for it. After all that my order STILL wasn't right. I've placed multiple corporate orders that have been on point but it was pretty clear today that they were understaffed and the staff that WAS there was hopelessly inept/incapable. Go somewhere else. Go anywhere else. Go to Subway or Jimmy John's or Food Lion and make your own sub; you could actually probably do all three in the time it would take you to get one sandwich here...and it would probably be right.

I got the turkey and roast beef sub regular. They seem to skimp on toppings and rush through making the subs. My sub was ok. I just wish they would have toasted it like I asked for. It was also pretty dry. The mayo must have exited the scene... The jalapeno chips are good kettle chips. Crunchy with a little kick. Their ice is top notch. It's that good ice you can chew !! The staff was ok, they're not that welcoming. But I guess we'll just be happy they showed up. Lol. The restaurant was clean with plenty of seating to dine in. All in all it was an average visit. (I went again a few days later and got the roast beef sub, toasted with extra sauce. This sub was better. It had a good amount of toppings. It was good, and filling. Maybe it just depends on who makes your sub! Because this was night and day differences. Idk!! Check them out!!)

After finally getting our meal and going home the experience was way better. Although the menu is not very big, the burgers are pretty good. I'm assuming they don't have a full menu due to not having a standalone restaurant but either way we were pretty happy with our meals. The burgers are huge and taste gourmet. The only reason I ordered was because my son watches Mr. Beast on YouTube. We have ordered again since the last time but for delivery to avoid the weird parking situation. I…read moredo work around this area and had been curious about Yorkie's for a while; about a month ago I had the opportunity to stop in. It's kind of like Taste in that it's like a Hip And Trendy Sandwich Spot - the staff is mostly perky, cool, and very competent college students - and the prices are about on par with Taste as well, but for what you get here, it's probably double the value of what you can get there. I got their tuna melt, which stuck with me for long enough that it had me craving another sandwich like that when I was in the area again. So today I was in the area again and I brought a friend, who also got the tuna melt and loved it. The thing about that sandwich is that they probably put about a half pound of bluefin tuna salad on it, and it's not mayo or filler-heavy. It's very tuna-forward, which is a plus to me. This time I got the Kevin's Bday, which was turkey, bacon, cheese, LT with this amazing garlicky green onion aioli, because honestly I was like, "Well, the tuna melt was really good. But what about just a Normal Ass Sandwich??" Both those sandwiches come on thick toasted (I think potato?) sandwich bread and my god it was all SO delicious. Again, the portion was enough for two meals, and it was just a turkey sandwich! The turkey was super succulent too. One small detail i really appreciated was that I believe they cut their tomatoes on the slicer as well; they're incredibly thin, and they add a lot to the sandwich without overpowering it. Also their tots are unreal. Sorry for rambling. I'm very passionate about sandwiches apparently. All I'm saying is that if you're at the oceanfront and you're trying to pick a sandwich place, it should be this one.

It was definitely busy during the lunch rush, but worth the wait. The dish was so good! It added a depth of flavor I wasn't expecting and absolutely loved. At $18 (+ an additional $2 for a can of diet coke), it's a little pricey IMHO, but I'd order it again without hesitation because it's that good. Yorkie's is such a cute spot, the staff was friendly, and while parking can be a bit sparse around lunchtime, it's worth it. I'm already looking forward to going back and trying more of the menu!

Well seasoned and had soft biscuits that were easy to cut with a fork. The pancake was huge and my 10 yr old ate the whole thing. The fruit was fresh and ripe. Very sweet. The cinnamon roll was pretty good, but just a little harder to cut through with a fork. It may have needed to be a little warmer. Nonetheless it was still very good. The crab Benedict was just that. Nice lump crab. Perfectly cooked eggs and flavorful hollandaise sauce over top. The potatoes were amazing. My friend refused to eat them. Lol. She's a picky eater, me not so much!! Our waiter Noah was very informative, friendly, and upbeat!
