First visit to Melty, not impressed. The crew working was young, but super polite and accommodating. The fault is with the management. How does a sandwich place run out of bread? They had to substitute burger buns instead of their standard bread. I wish I had looked at the reviews more closely before visiting, as this seems to be a trend: running out of key ingredients. Overall, the food quality just wasn't there, very low-quality ingredients for the price. Melty is located in the Landstown Commons Shopping Center. They are located in the middle area where Chipotle and others are located. Parking out front is limited and see it full most of the time. There is additional parking available behind that part of the shopping center, which is where I would normally park to avoid the bustle of the front facing parking. My most recent visit here was on October 23, 2025. Once you come inside, you can see the inside is pretty small all things considered. The maximum occupancy allowed is only 52 people. The inside features lots of Melty logos and such too. There is an ordering kiosk to the left after entering, or you can order at the counter. My first visit here was on June 20, 2025. My mom was with me as well, so we both got some food items while here. We had gotten a coupon in the mail, so that's how I first found out about the business. It was a busy time since it was during the noon hour. At the counter, there is also a Melty Bingo card that you can use to earn items as you try different menu items. They also have an app and loyalty rewards program. On this first visit, after looking over the options, I went with the Chicken Parmesan Melty and Cheese Curds as a side. My mom got the Four Cheese Classic Melty with a cup of the Cheesy Broccoli Soup. After about 5-10 minutes, our food was ready. They did forget the cheese curds, but they fixed that pretty quickly. They gave me the full order of it instead of just the amount for a side due to that. I don't normally do sandwiches and such too often since I try to keep my blood sugars under control. However, the Chicken Parmesan Melty and Cheese Curds were so good. Yes, it did spike my blood sugars, but I don't do this often. The food definitely hit the spot, and my mom really liked the soup and Four Cheese Melty too. I hadn't been here in a while, so I came back for a second time on October 23, 2025. This time, my mom and I came in for an early dinner. It wasn't busy at the time, so it was good to have some time to look over the options. On this visit, I decided to try the Melty Burger, adding bacon and using pepper jack cheese instead along with Cheese Curds. My mom just did the Cheesy Broccoli Soup cup this time. The food didn't take long since it was pretty quiet at the time. The Melty Burger was excellent. It was cooked just right and had some good flavors with it. The Cheese Curds were just as good as the previous visit too. Although my blood sugar spiked, it was still a great treat as it's not something I do often. Overall, I have had very good experiences with both visits. They also offer a 10% Military or 10% Senior Discount as well. You may just need to ask for that. The staff on both visits were attentive and willing to answer any questions we had. Not sure if it's the same place that you can order from DoorDash late at night - pictures of their melts are so good! The dining area has enough seats for about 20 to 25 people. Wanted to eat something light (white bread) but substantial so ordered the beef brisket BBQ melt. Am not usually keen on bbq sauce so I ordered this with jalapeño jelly to contrast with spicy sweet. The to go order was ready in about 10 minutes. Other yelp reviewers had the chance to meet the owners, no such luck for me today! Service was good though. Now for the Bbq brisket melt - it was packed in a nice box and then in a bag for to go. I got home and dug in - the brisket melt was absolutely delicious with the jalapeño jam was packed on the side. I have never been here so I was excited to get a sandwich. They had so many options and I wanted to try them all but I went with turkey avocado. I am so happy I did. The cashier repeated back what I ordered which I enjoyed. I switched the cheese the sandwich came with havarti, and cheddar cheese. Ny side was the melty mac and I was able to pick a sauce and got the fry sauce. I dipped my sandwich in the sauce and I loved it. It's super clean inside and lots of seat space. I did not have to wait long either. I picked to have a fountain drink that came with my meal. The crunch you get from the sandwich when you bite it, is to die for. The sandwich was juicy and tasty. Adding an update based on the owner's comment - I just want to note that while we did come on Black Friday, it was not busy inside. They were just slow. ---- Just meh. We decided to take a break from Black Friday shopping an stopped here for a quick bite. It took 15 min to get our food after we ordered. I got the gobbler because it's my fav. It came with stuffing, deli turkey meat, cranberry sauce, and cheese. I made it a combo so I got a tea and cheese curds. I didn't realize it would have deli meat instead of real turkey meat until I got the sandwich. I wouldn't have ordered if I knew that. We actually wouldn't have even come here if we knew that. Cheese curds were good and it all came with a dipping cup of gravy. Hubby got a Cuban and said it was mediocre. It was small and was falling apart. He got the cheese fries for his combo sir and said the cheese wasn't even warm. I'd definitely skip this place. $44 for our two mediocre sandwiches, sides and drinks. read more

We stopped by Melty for lunch. It was pretty busy. I thought it was fast food, but it's really not. So be prepared for a wait. I was there for 22 minutes. At that point I thought I worked there. The girl who took my order was so lackluster and bland I thought I'd need a therapist when I left. My whole bubbly vibe exited stage left. I found myself matching her energy. The guy who was bagging orders was nice and friendly. He kinda redeemed the situation. The prices are kinda high in my eyes, even with inflation $10 for a burger that has absolutely nothing special about it is sorta crazy to me. I got a burger and loaded fries combo and another side of fries for $23. Whoa!!! I expected to be impressed, but that wasn't the case. The burger was bland, but it was a good size and I liked the bread. It did look good. The loaded fries were pretty good, but for a $7.25 upcharge I expected a bigger portion. My daughter who had just a plain order of fries couldn't finish them because they tasted like grease. I thought she was mistaken so I tried them, and nope, she was correct. I'd probably try a different sandwich next time. They have several different sauces, which is cool. The fry sauce and BBQ sauce were good. They have several interested things on the menu. Tater tots, cookies, brownies, sandwiches, and even cheese curds. The way the line is to order is kinda weird to me because if it's busy, your left with you butt in people's faces at the tables by the register. It just wasn't enough space to stand in because the line to order meshes with the drink section and it was just too much. Melty is a new, local spot that just opened 4 months ago and I must say, it was definitely what the area needed. As you walk in, you're either able to order from the kiosk in the front, which was very convenient, or with a person in the back, in the case you have questions or want to pay with cash. Since their specialty are their sandwich melts, I decided on the BBQ Pulled Pork, which consisted of pulled pork, mozzarella, fontina, bbq sauce and onion rings. My friend decided on the BBQ Brisket, which included burnt ends brisket, pepper jack, cheddar, Caramelized onions and bbq sauce. We decided on their signature, Melty Mac as well. It was a little bit crowded and it was probably due to the local news featuring Melty that same day but our food was ready in about 20 mins. Both sandwiches were amazing! The flavors in the pulled pork and the brisket tasted wonderful! My friend's sandwich was served with about 3 onion rings but they graciously brought out more once they realized she had so few. The Melty Mac was very creamy and cheesy, I thoroughly enjoyed it. Overall, we had a great experience at Melty. We were even able to meet one of the owners while we were there. Flavorful Sandwiches & Great Vibes -- Loved the Brisket! Stopped by Melty for lunch after hearing about it on the local news station, and was super impressed with the food and overall vibe! I ordered the barbecue beef brisket grilled cheese sandwich, and it was absolutely amazing. The brisket was tender and flavorful, and the BBQ sauce had a rich, tangy taste that really brought the sandwich together. Easily one of the best grilled cheese combos I've had in a while! The french fries and onion rings on the side were solid, but the onion rings in particular stood out -- perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. We also tried the macaroni and cheese, which was super cheesy and creamy. Personally, it was a little too creamy for my taste, but I can see how others might love that texture. Service was good overall. When we first walked in, we weren't sure how to order -- we used the kiosk since it seemed like the main option, but later realized we could've ordered at the counter. A quick heads-up from staff would've been helpful, but it didn't take away from the experience. My friend got the pork sandwich, and we ended up swapping bites. While both sandwiches were good, I definitely preferred the brisket -- full of flavor and just a better balance overall. Sidenote, I even got to meet one of the owners and talk to her briefly. We went to this location twice, but ordered food once because of the speed. The workers are extremely slow and move like there is not importance. The food however is good whenever you get it. We got this triple cheese grilled sandwich. The owner or manager guy is definitely very ignorant. He yells at all his workers even though who are just training and belittles them. I saw him talk to a customer ordering food for his friend and told him that needs to order himself since he needs to practice his English and kept saying use your words and learn to speak more. He also goes in and out of the place like randomly checking out the light bulb outside the shop that belongs to the shopping center and not the shop to make himself look busy. My kids said 10/10. I have picky kids...well mainly my 16 year old daughter. And grilled cheese with tomato soup is her most favorite. She was so happy to have found this place. My son tried the ham and Swiss without the tomatoes and onions and was in heaven with the melty Mac which he loved. I came for a quick dinner and of course to check out a new place. It's casual....you go up to the register and order. Menu is posted on the wall. You pay and wait. Drinks are self serve and you clean up after yourself. It was a tough decision but finally decided on the French Dip. I also got some tomato basil soup. Pros and Cons....service was friendly but slow. They were trying and working hard. Being new that's what I would expect. They haven't figured out the rhythm of being a team. My sandwich was good. Perfectly toasted. The aus jou was good and plentiful. I was a bit disappointed in the soup. I paid almost $3 for 2 ounces of soup.....4 spoonfuls. Either less money or more soup. Tonight, my wife and I tried Melty in Lansdtown. It was around 7:00/:30 and the place was empty. We ordered and received our food within 5 minutes. I ordered and ham and swiss and I was not expecting to be that effing good. The cheese pull alone should've told me to buckle up and prep myself for a banger. I almost (seriously debated with myself) ordering another to go just so I could have it later on. The sandwich was so buttery, the cheese was gooey, the ham was savory. Instead the franchise owners tore the business apart and did not pay any of the employees to include my son, their last and final paychecks. Shame on this company - majority of your employees were teenagers. They have no idea how to go about a complaint and you let them work for your Franchise for free. Instead of confronting teenagers you deleted the work app that you all communicated through. I see why your franchise failed. you all are terrible employers. I had the pleasure of trying them out for the first time a couple of days ago and they were phenomenal! From the staff to the food it was a 20/10! I would share pictures of the food we ate but we were too busy enjoying the food that we forgot to take the pictures but let me tell you it's worth the trip to experience it for yourselves! we ordered The Classic, Chicken Parm and The Cuban for the sandwiches, onion rings, loaded fries and cheese curds for the sides, tomato basil soup for dipping and an Oreo milkshake for dessert. Husband ordered a Reuben....and while making it (after we paid), they said they didn't have all the ingredients for it. The two guys working were very apologetic about it, and did their best to accommodate us as best they could. The "full" size salad I ordered was...disappointing at best. Most restaurants would consider that serving a 'side' salad, not an entree. Also received a wild amount of dressing...like enough for 3 LARGE salads. That made no sense. I have been to melty many times and I must say I have had remarkable service every time. I have gone during very busy hours and the staff was very attentive to all of the customers coming in greeting everyone with a smile and letting them know there would be a wait and approximately how long the wait would be and no one waited the full extent of their time. I have tired many of the sandwiches. I have had the bbq pulled pork, four cheese, brisket, ham and cheese and my all time favorite the French dip. Every sandwich has been incredibly made....i just love to dip the French dip into the au jus...10/10! I must say I went there for lunch today and was blessed with an opportunity to speak to someone I believe to be the owner of this franchise maybe. He was AMAZING! We've been there several times and when we told the owner, it was his birthday and he requested a gift card for Melty, they sing him happy birthday, they started asking the questions and made him feel welcome. This was tough rating. I ordered online for curbside pickup. I finally went in after determining they would be closing soon. The crew were not working together which I expected for a new place. From time ordering until pickup was 50 minutes. They were out of onion rings, I chose a substitute and after sandwiches were made was informed no cheese for fries. The sandwiches were fairly good, we had the French dip and brisket sandwiches. Toasted golden, right amount of sauce and meat. Fries and tater tots were not that great. All in all, I would give them another try maybe in a few months. And I paid more for the onion rings then fries but was told would not charge me any additional for having to substitute. My wife preordered from this place well in advance and received a text message stating that it was ready after an extended amount of time waiting. After we got the alert that it was ready I went to the business and found out it hadn't even been started yet. When I asked the guy about it he shrugged me off a d said they sent the text by mistake. The patty melts only had maybe 2 or 3 onions on them. And all of this cost about $34. This is the second time I've been to this location. Sadly it's the last time I go here.
