I picked up a sandwich for lunch recently from Mister Jim's. It was so easy to call and order over the telephone. The staff is friendly and they made my sandwich exactly like I ordered it. I really enjoy the Mister Jim's Special with hot and sweet peppers. If you have not tried them or even if you have, it's time for another visit, you can always thank me later!

Love the Mr Jim's Special!!! Thanks for lunch. Even over the years they've always had the best employees. They're super busy but make great sandwiches.

I only had 13 dollars left to my name and I really wanted a sub after a rough workout, but the tax made it to where I couldn't afford the full sub but they took spare change from their tips to cover my sub damn I love this place, please eat here to support the good people that work here.

So I've been going to Mr. Jim's for over 20 years. Today I picked up an order a cheesesteak fries and that's it. There were like 10 fries in the box and they charged me $0.89 for ketchup. When the hell did you start getting charged for ketchup. I cannot even believe it. How is that even something you can push a button for on the register. Catch up? So I guess if you get a hot dog you get charged for ketchup and mustard?

Their subs were great. We had to wait a bit for our food but that was because they were so busy.

Ask the Community - Mister Jim's

    Coupons for subs?

I do n ot know. I have only been a couple of times. Their food is good but I am not impressed with how management treats their staff and how the head manager lets junior management get away with anything.…

Who makes the cookies you sell there?

I don't know who makes their cookies. I would think they do or they have them delivered.

Having "NY Bagel" is literally, sacrilegious to those of us that know WHAT a true "NY Bagel" is. Their name hold true to form, what a NY Bagel is. I initially wanted Bagels & Lox, but changed my mind when I saw what I was also craving... PASTRAMI. I got "The DON," pastrami piled high (NOT "Katz" high, but a Chesapeake high, with Cold Slaw and a pickle. When I tell you delicious!! The WATER's PH balance is the same as NY, making the bagel, an authentic "NY Bagel." The Cold Slaw... my god today... I haven't had slaw like this since I left NYC!! Ambiance, basic, not very reminiscent of NYC, BUT, every menu item is named after an area in NY. So pleased. I'll be back!!!

I know bacon, sausage, ham, (and Taylor Ham if you're from Jersey like me) are the standard breakfast sandwich meats, but try the pastrami! Poppy bagel, 2 eggs included, cheese, and some pastrami brings back my east coast state of mind. The midtown sandwich is also a great option. I know a lot of Southerners don't care for the greatness of a bagel, they prefer their biscuits and that's all well and good. But wow, NYBC does a wonderful job of representing the area where I grew up.

Consistency--both in the kitchen and in the dining room--has made this longtime favorite a reliable choice for those who value substance over flash. The service reflects that same steadiness. The staff is welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable without being overbearing--always ready with thoughtful suggestions for anyone navigating the menu. I began with the garden salad, a straightforward but well-executed mix of fresh greens, tomatoes, cucumbers, and sweet Vidalia onions, finished with housemade croutons and a balanced balsamic vinaigrette. It's a simple dish done right, which sets the tone for what follows. The she-crab soup--an award-winning staple--delivers exactly what you hope for in a classic rendition. Rich, velvety, and deeply satisfying, it's best enjoyed in a cup unless you plan on making it the centerpiece of your meal. For the entrée, the French Dip stands out as a clear highlight. Built on a soft roll and filled with thinly sliced prime rib--slow-roasted to achieve both tenderness and depth of flavor--it's served with a properly seasoned au jus that brings the entire sandwich together. It's a dish that leans on quality ingredients and careful execution rather than unnecessary embellishment, and it succeeds because of it. Court House Café continues to earn its reputation the right way: consistent food, thoughtful service, and an atmosphere that feels rooted in the community it serves. In a dining landscape often chasing trends, this is a place that understands the value of doing the fundamentals exceptionally well--and doing them every time.

Court House Cafe's reuben is THE best reuben sandwich I've ever had. The pastrami is tender and doesn't get caught up in between your teeth like other places and just enough sauerkraut to not be overbearing. The steak fries are always hot and crisp. My only gripe is that I prefer Heinz ketchup with my fries which they do not have. The service is always top notch and the girls there are always friendly. My drink was never empty. Now, wait times may vary but it is worth the wait.
