Ordered a pick up one day and got the Tomato Basil soup and Wasabi Braised Beef sandwich. Neither were my favorite, but the soup was solid and should have used to dip the braised beef sandwich in, since it was a little dry which was weird for braised beef. The place puts a lot of work into the food and I would try other items.

Met up with a friend from back in the day and this was where we landed. My friend group knows how seriously I take my food so when they recommend something I'm never disappointed! Cutting Edge is another win! It's a small comfortable space, feels like a casual break from whatever you might be into on a given day. Everything is made to order which is nice. The flavors were fresh and the menu is eclectic. You can tell that thought goes into the menu offerings because the flavor combinations aren't basic or boring. I had a cheeseburger which was juicy and fresh, sweet potato fries which were very good, and the farro goat cheese salad. Everything was fresh, seasoned well and tasted great. Service was quick and friendly and parking is plentiful. Check em out soon!

Came to visit family during the Thanksgiving break and found this gem. Wow! We were blown away. Food was delicious and the staff was amazing! They explained everything to us (because we were overwhelmed by the delicious menu) and we even saw them give samples of soup out to ppl that were curious about it. All in all a great spot with incredible food! I ordered the Chopped cheese and I'm very particular about it because I was born in the place that chopped cheese was invented.. I was blown away! Go check it out... you won't be disappointed.

Can't believe it's been about 5 years since I've been here. It was a Monday afternoon, my son and I came here for lunch to take back home. They were pretty busy and had several people waiting for pickup orders as well. I ordered their salmon mango salad and my son had the kids grilled cheese and fruit. A 15-20 minute wait turned into almost 30. We weren't in a rush so no worries. The salad was delicious. The dressing was yummy. My son's grilled cheese had very little cheese but was okay. I like seeing fruit cups not the typical canned fruit cocktail so I was impressed with this. I'll definitely come back soon!

So tasty and healthy! Food- my farro and goat cheese salad (add salmon) was the best I've ever had! My friends got a caprese panini and grilled cheese with jam were tasty too. We also got hummus and pita and sweet potato fries. We all were content with the portion sizes but not overwhelmed, which was nice. Service- the lady at the front desk was super personable and knowledgeable about the menu. Pleasant on the phone and in person. Giving each person special treatment. Vibe- cute cafe, not too much decor and clean. Folks gathered in groups and by themselves. Many getting takeout. And the kitchen is open for your viewing pleasure. I actually stop here for lunch EVERYTIME I'm in town from DC!

Cutting Edge was recommended to us by the chef and owner of LeGrand Kitchen, so I knew it would be good. Finding a good time to get myself over to Chesapeake on a Friday for their burger special was another story. We finally made the time and I am so glad we did! This is one of my new favorite burgers in the entire area. Incredibly flavorful, with each component really holding its own and combining in the most wonderful way. They were also running a salmon burger special which was equally as delicious! Sweet Potato Fries are not my typical go to, but theirs are better than any I've had anywhere else. Soft on the inside, crisp on the outside, and seasoned to perfection with almost a hint of a smokey barbecue flavor? The prices at this lunch spot are also hard to beat. We really look forward to going back to try more of their sandwich and salad offerings.

Okay, it has been a LONG time since I visited the Cutting Edge. I used to be down in this area a lot at one of the medical facilities nearby, and eating lunch here was always a bright spot in my (markedly stressful at the time) treatments. My dad was in town this past weekend and was headed to the Outer Banks, so when I plotted the map of in-betweens for us to meet for brunch, this place popped up and I thought, I have GOT to see if it's still as good as I remember. Short answer: Yes. It's still amazing. We rolled in at 10:30 right when they opened - food was excellent. Everyone in our party raved about it. I got those sweet potato fries and they are STILL the best ones I've had in the area! I got the grilled cheese and apple with bacon panini and it was awesome. Three cheers all around for this place - service is great, plenty of seating and a nice environment. Why you would go to Panera when this place is an option, I have no idea. Check it!

Parking is plentiful as it's in a strip mall, and we were able to self seat a party of 7 with no problem at all on a Saturday evening. The service was doing their best, but they definitely could use one or two more employees because the person making all the desserts (and there was a line JUST for take out dessert orders- because it's that good) was also the same one that needed to take our orders before we could sit down. I felt bad for her because she was working really hard on two very busy stations. The ambience is super casual so no need to dress up. So now lests get to the star of the show. This is the best chicken sandwich out and I'll put it up against anyone I've had anywhere. Well seasoned, tender, perfectly fried. The buns were potato bread so super soft, the sauces are fantastic and the variety of sandwiches is just enough to have a good amount of options. The fries are also delicious. À la carte so they are sold separately, but the portion makes it worth it because THEY ARE NOT STINGY! Flavor packed and great value for the cost. Last but not least the homemade custard is TOP TIER. Best I've had since i left Jersey back in the day. This place just took the top spot for chicken sandwiches for me and i can't eat to try more flavors.

The smell drew me in the first time while visiting Lowe's and so glad I took a chance. A line is always a good sign that there are likely regulars and that spells something good is going on. The menu is posted on the outside and is simple fair type with burgers, sausages & cheesesteaks. The one young guy running the grille was friendly and recommended the cheesesteaks which I gotta say as a lover was suspicious. However I was willing to risk it on the off chance this food stand in a parking lot could actually deliver a fabulous steak. The price was affordable for a footling around $10 and added a bottle water and tip came to $13+ The cheesesteak was completed in around 8 minutes wrapped up and in a bag with napkins. I popped it open in the car and was amazed at the pure size and amount of meat. The smell was glorious with steam waffling above. The bread was fresh and authentic to Philly. The only thing left was a bite and it did not disappoint one bit, just wowzers! It was good enough to return prior to writing a review. It ended up being a carbon copy of my success with another incredibly delicious cheesesteak. This time I used a nearby picnic table to enjoy. This is a chain food stand. The owner has two located at Lowe's in Chesapeake and Virginia Beach on Holland Rd. If you love cheesesteaks then Dominic's delivers a masterpiece and you will not be disappointed. My bestie ordered her favorite bc combo with Tomato Soup and the Wine Country salad. She says that soup and salad combo never disappoints. She finished it!
