First time at Zero's Subs and I ordered the grinder. I typically order my sandwiches but I decided to get it their way. It was great! The meat and veggies balanced and the bread wasn't soggy. I also got fries that were just okay. Good with ketchup. The cashier was mostly okay but the guy who brought out my order was polite. I'll like go back and try other subs read more

Food was Terrible! Waited over 10 minutes for the Sub! And the place needed a Big Cleaning! There were Empty Trays on the Tables along with the Food Wrappings on both the Tables and Trays! Will not be going back there any time soon! read more

Got home with this beautiful Grub Steak and Cheese. When I called the store and requested a refund, instead of them issuing it over the phone, they were so gracious to make me drive back for it. Save your money and your time and go to one of the better locations. Because Birchwood definitely is not it. read more

I stop at this Zero's location if I am out in the general area where they are located and want to pick something up for lunch or dinner. I usually get a whole sub for my boyfriend and a whole one for me. Then we get 2 meals each from each sub. This location has super nice employees. They are always pleasant and helpful. The location is pretty much set up like many of the other Zero's locations, basic. But this one is always clean and welcoming. I would only order from this location if I lived closer. The food is always just how I ordered it and they never skimp. Plus it is always cooked perfectly and is tasty. read more

Just ordered for pickup through yelp. It said it would be ready at a certain time. I showed up a little before and it was already ready. I asked for a side of sweet peppers and they gave it to me for free! I had my wallet out to pay and when I asked how much, he said nothing. I wasn't expecting that. That was nice. We ordered a hot ham and cheese sub with bacon and hot peppers, and a super grinder with hot peppers and banana peppers. I would've added the sweet peppers to the grinder but it wasn't an option for this sandwich for whatever reason so I got the side to add when I got home. The subs were perfectly hot when we got home and were so delicious. The store is always clean and the employees are always so friendly. We love coming to this location. read more

Came in for a Philly cheesesteak was not satisfied with how it turned out. I unfortunately will not be back.

So I initially left a review about this place nine years ago and at the time they had a wonderful happy hour like special but they have an updated special which is only on Tuesdays, which is 2 hot subs for 16.99. They've stayed consistent and happy every time I receive my sub and today Kait and Alex provided wonderful customer service with a smile. Will always continue to return and you should give it a try if you haven't already ! read more

I love Zero's and this particular one, but I walked into this one a couple of minutes past 7:00 pm, tonight and the young fella behind the counter was having a very animated conversation with himself about "f-ing people coming in past seven a f-ing o'clock." I figured that it was a bad time to order my meatball and grubsteak. (The hours posted say that they close at 8:00. read more

Got a grinder and a Philly cheese steak. Great service, clean typical decor zero's. Both sandwiches were great. Good location

All I gotta say is I love a good hot sub. Hard to find places with handmade subs with hot warm dishes. Cold subs are alright but they have quite a selection. Now fair warning you'll have to get past the look it reminds me of your cool uncle's basement in the 70s w/sports mementos, a pinball machine, foosball table, and the good ol wood paneling. Let that not deter you from enjoying a good sit down meal. The sub was served to us with fries. They were warm and reminded me of school fries. They have fountain and case drinks. They bring the food to you if you dine inside. A cool place to grab a bite to eat and unwind. read more

Great food but this location has declined rapidly over the last decade due to rude employees and customer service, they never Anwser to take orders anymore. Sad to see a good local company fall apart. Hope they can get some good managers and staff. read more

Wanted something quick and not too heavy yet fresh. Zeroes always had the best bread for subs. Not too thick of bread. Place is a bit outdated, yet most Zero's are. Food tastes great. read more

Ummm... WOW! This place took me back in time when I stepped in this location!!! Describing it as outdated and old is an understatement! It's like walking into your grandma's house with the wooden rails and wood paneling walls and ancient box television! We were blahfully greeted when we came in and I inquired about the picture they had advertised on their window. Picture showed two footlongs, some chips, and a drink and a price tag that read $11.99. Hey, that's a deal according to my boyfriend and I! So we set out to order said special but were told we could only order the Classic Sandwiches, which was fine. Buuut... That was all we got! No chips or drink was offered. We asked and they said, "Yeah, that's just the picture." W T F !? Oh, ok. Grrrr... But whatevs, we order those separately. Ordered their tuna because I remembered it being yummy.. Turns out, it's that 'other' sub shop's tuna that I liked -- oops. But what I could and would never forget about Zero's is their bread! It's sooo damn good - perfectly crusty on the outside and soft and chewy on the inside, and sooo warm!!! Mmmmm!! Despite the tuna confusion, I have to say I enjoyed that footlong (I ate about 80% of it by myself) more than I should have!! I must have been super hungry!!!! My boyfriend ordered the Grub and although he ate it all he said it wasn't that good; he was just starving. Oh well... I didn't visit the bathroom because just by looking at it from the dining room it looked scary, but I noticed a sink just chillen in the middle of the hallway so I'm guessing you use the toilet, use your dirty hands to open the door, and wash your hands in the hallway in front of anyone who can see because there isn't a door. Totally. Weird. And. Creepy. And not to mention Unsanitary!!!!! So with that said... You won't find me coming back to this location ever again!!! read more

Really dingy in there. Run down. I think there was only one guy working. I guess he was mad I didn't tip him cause he started throwing dishes around. The first time I contacted this Zeros at 8:45 in the evening to order a couple of subs. I was told on the phone we close at nine and we are not taking any more orders at this time. I thought I would never return to that store because of that. Then one day I decided earlier in the afternoon to stop by and get a grub steak and cheese. It was built to specifications. And was wonderful! I understand you wanting to go home on time. However if your business is open until 9 PM employees should be willing to take an order at 8:45. So overall experience was that the sub is good the atmosphere is good and it seems the employees know what they're doing. read more

This play is so incredibly slow!!! It took 15 minutes for me to receive my half sub. The food was good but the place is way to slow. I've never had an issue at other locations so I don't think I will be coming back to this particular one until they hire more staff. read more

I liked the place...old arcade game, decor that reminds me of simpler times, yada yada. The lunch was cheap enough, $6 for a Grinder Combo. But the Grinder was just not really anything to discuss. blah. Processed even. The Baked Lays were more exciting. I know these guys have been around a while, which is, I guess, why I expected a bit more. Maybe I need to go back and try a different sub. The service was a bit "slacky" in demeanor, but quick enough. Bathrooms share a sink in the hall (weird, but hey, maybe it embarrasses more idiots into washing their hands knowing the dining room can see you) read more

I went to Zero's tonight to pick up dinner for my family, I've been there several times in the past and they've never let me down. The food is always correct and prompt. Food at this location is as good as any other Zeros sub shop. However this is the first Zeros sub shop I've been to that didn't offer the happy hour special. Kinda disappointing and will frequent the other locations when getting a sub from 4pm-6pm. read more

Dated decor! Who cares it's a Sub shop! Notice the name you go for a Sub not the pizza! Zreo's has been around the 7 cities since 1967. This place proves that in the decor but it's clean and the service is fast. Heck you can play Ms. Pac Man while you eat so you get a flashback treat. The subs are primo though no fancy toppings just good and toasted. Go for the grinder assorted meats that blend into flavor town. Warning though if you take someone who favors fancy they won't like the place or the food. read more

Not a slick, franchised sub chain. This Zero's has a laid back beach and surfer look and feel. The employees are extremely friendly and the subs were hot, fresh and good. Zeros has the best subs hands down. The location is great because it's close. I've tried different subs here and haven't had a bad one yet. It could use a remodel but it's not a big deal. Sometimes you have to call them more than once to place an order but that just means everyone else is calling to pickup a delicious sub! They offer cookies and chips as well as fountain drinks. Also it's one of the only places you can go besides the coin laundry that has old school games like Pac-Man. Love this place! read more

Food was good, kids working behind the counter might have been retarded. Super slow service.

Do not eat here! We had to wait about fifteen minutes before being acknowledged after walking in. When we were finally acknowledged by the owner and guy at the counter, Bud, I asked him if it was okay that we were going to use a restaurant.com gift certificate off my phone because we didn't have it printed out. He said that was fine. So he then asked me for the validation code off of my gift certificate and the phone number to validate my code. He calls the number and puts in the code, thereby using my gift certificate. After he already uses my gift certificate, he tells me that I need to press some kind of button on my phone saying that I used the gift certificate. I told him that I don't know what he's talking about because my phone has no button like that and that he must be thinking of something that some kind of app has. He said some other guy has it on his phone that was in there a couple days ago and that's how he keeps people from reusing the gift certificate. Retarded. Since I didn't have that button he kept saying that he needed me to print off the piece of paper, because that will make it impossible for me to reuse or make copies of the gift certificate (sarcastic). After a short exchange, he says that I should call restaurant.com. After I do, and have the restaurant.com person explain to him that what he's saying doesn't make any sense, he still insists that he won't take the gift certificate. So after he already took my money by entering my restaurant.com code and even after the lady told him he was wrong, he still wouldn't accept it. They took our money and would not give us anything for it. To sum up: Worst customer service ever. Super slow to take and make orders. Owner, Bud, is extremely rude and retarded. Avoid this place. read more
