If you want something different and good, here's your spot. We were staying at the Marriott and walked by. Service was good and food was ready pretty quickly. Two rolls filled me up. I had the sausage breakfast and Philly with Mac and cheese rolls. Both were very tasty. I stole a few fries from my hubby because they looked so good. And they were! I dipped them in boom Boom sauce and that put them over the top. I ate them before I remembered to take a picture.

Short walk from Waterside District. Enough seating for about 20 people. Most orders were takeout. We tried the philly cheese which is likely a top seller. It was very good! I liked the pepperoni pizza one; it's like a hot pocket but less bread and more pizza. It's great with the marinara. Lastly, the peach cobbler for the sweet craving. It was warm and sweet, not sticky...I'd love a whipped, sweet cream dip for this one. Total time was about 10 minutes and cost was less than $20 .... plus we added two bottle drinks.

My husband and I went here for a casual date night. We weren't super hungry so we shared a 4 roll box and fries. We got two savory: chicken Philly and steak Philly and two sweet: peach and Oreo cheesecake. The chicken was our favorite and the more flavorful roll with the right balance of cheese and chicken. The beef was good, worth a try. We're not beef lovers. In general but give it a try. The Oreo cheesecake was outstanding!!! My husband said he'd come back just for that roll and he's not a big sweets person. The peach was good, reminded me of a firmer peach cobbler. Would be great with ice cream . Overall a good experience. The place is small and has a few tables for dine in. There is no self service kiosk but ordering is quick and easy. The food comes out fast and hot. Give it a try.

They played fun songs from the early 2000's my entire time there. Songs I hadn't heard in a while and had fun bopping to while I waited. I got my 3 rolls within 10 minutes. The chicken Philly roll was ooey gooey goodness and the chorizo queso had a lot less cheese than I was expecting but I would still get it again. The strawberry cheesecake roll was a little too liquidy. I feel like it could use a bit more cheesecake and a little less strawberry. It was decent but I think I would try another one of their desserts next time.

TASTELESS!! After walking by, I decided to give this place a try. The cashier was friendly and offered some helpful suggestions. I ordered four rolls, including three different types: Chicken Philly, Chicken Parmesan, and Strawberry Cheesecake. The food arrived quickly and was served hot, but unfortunately, the flavors were lacking and the dishes tasted fairly bland. The Strawberry Cheesecake roll was the best of the bunch, though it didn't stand out much beyond a basic no-bake cheesecake you could find at the store. Overall, I wouldn't recommend this place.

Been meaning to try this new spot on Granby and finally one night decided to give it a go. We entered and were greeted by the lovely cashier. She answered our questions about the menu and provided her recommendations as well. We ordered Philly cheesesteak eggrolls, chicken cheesesteak eggrolls and fries. For dessert we got the peach cobbler eggroll and the berry cheesecake eggroll. They also had Jarritos sodas in flavors that aren't as accessible typically we got a watermelon one and passionfruit. The eggrolls of course were fresh and hot out of the fryer and super satisfying. They came with a spicy orange sauce (I love spicy orange sauces) and were honestly so fulfilling. Out of the Chicken and Cheesesteak I probably would choose the regular Philly cheesesteak, but both were good. The fries were thick cut crinkle and SEASONED which I enjoyed. The dessert eggrolls were my least favorite, the peach one just gave typical peach pie filling vibes, but we did enjoy the berry cheesecake one which had a nice creamy filling. We were told by a few patrons in the restaurant that the chicken parm eggroll was really good, so I am looking forward to trying that next time. If you're interested in trying something new, I'd give this place a try especially for a late-night fix. The rolls are 2 for $8 which I think is a solid price.

We found this restaurant through a Yelp search and really enjoyed it! We were in town for an event at the arena and were not hungry for a full meal but wanted something nearby. This was a perfect option! The cashier was very helpful with his recommendations. We ended up trying several different rolls and split them. The mac & cheese egg roll was one of my husband's favorites. I really enjoyed the veggie. We both really liked the chicken parm. There were also dessert options. The strawberry cheesecake was fruity, creamy and delicious! This was definitely a fun twist on traditional eggrolls!

Was not impressed with what I got. The price was nice though. I got a chicken Philly and a steak Philly roll with seasoned fries. The fries were great but the rolls weren't filled like an egg roll is filled. One end of each were fried to the point the meat was a very cooked. May not go back for the roll but would go back for the fries. The staff seemed friendly that's always a plus.

It wasn't hard to convince me to go to a place that makes everything into egg rolls. I'm glad i went. I didn't get to try the things i really wanted (cheesesteak egg roll and peach cobbler egg roll) but the ones i got were good. Vegetarian egg roll was the best one we had by far; runner ups were Chicken Parm, chicken cheesesteak, and blueberry cheesecake egg rolls which were all good enough to go back for. I'll def be trying them again to see what the other flavors have to offer. It's a nice spot to keep in the tuck for a unique snack or abnormal dinner.

Freaking delicious! Eggrolls came out super hot, fresh, and crispy! Amazing service as well Cute little spot! 10/10

These are the (top) Chorizo Queso, Steak Philly, Mac & Cheese, and Breakfast rolls.

The very is very delicious, can be somewhat greasy but that's part of the fun, right? All 4 were excellent with the breakfast & Mac & cheese being my absolute favorite. I hope to try the dessert ones next! The employees have all been super helpful & extremely nice! This place is tucked away on Granby Street in Downtown Norfolk. It's an amazing location with a beautiful decor and limited upstairs seating. Yes they have a bathroom for customers as well!!

I said great that's all I want. Food came out and it's loaded with onions and red peppers. There was no option when I ordered to remove onions and peppers and I specifically asked the girl before they made my order and she confirmed it was just meat and cheese. So that was annoying. Also, when fries are served loaded with cheese the fries should be cooked until they are crispy these fries were mushy even the ones that didn't have anything on them. Since they make it all fresh, you might wait a few minutes longer than the typical burger joint, but that's fine considering the amazing eats you're about to enjoy. My burger came out looking beautiful and it was definitely sitting tall! The flavor was excellent! Meat was great too!! I definitely liked having their chipotle mayo on it!! Those steak Diablo fries were incredibly tasty, with a nice kick, but sooo much more flavor than heat! Cheesesteaks are…read moredifficult to successfully replicate, despite the fact I generally enjoy the ones I've tried locally. In that respect, if you're looking for authenticity, King's Philly won't make that list. When I arrived, King's was empty. There was one employee at the counter, and I quickly noticed two kiosks against the wall to the right of the entrance. I made my way to the kiosks and noted that the employee didn't say a word when I walked in. I like kiosks mainly because I can see, right in front of me, the entire menu. I noticed an oxtail philly, a bulgogi philly, and even a salmon philly on the menu. With this being my first time here, I decided on a regular old philly - in this case, a Classic Philly Beef. I ordered that and made it a combo (French fries, can of soda). After I ordered and paid, I sat down at a table and waited for my food. As I waited, I noticed that King's Philly is connected to Sushi King. Sushi King has been consolidating their space the past few years as they converted the other end of their suite into a Domoishi, and now this space for King's. By the way, King's interior is bright, colorful, clean, and organized. I waited maybe 10 minutes - the girl at the counter informed me my order was ready, and I picked it up at the counter. There are no fountain drinks available (a drawback, imo), but there is a fridge at the counter where you can choose your soda (cans). There is a second fridge next to it which has bottled drinks. The Classic Philly Beef was okay. The beef wasn't sliced ribeye and honestly tasted like frozen beef that was defrosted and then heated up on the flat top. The philly wasn't rotten nor was it bad, but it wasn't outstanding. And for $14-$15 for an 8" sub, I feel it needs to be outstanding. Also, the bun/roll they used for their philly didn't hold up. It almost immediately fell apart and its contents (beef, grilled onions, grilled peppers, provolone) fell all over the place. I ate a good amount of my philly with a fork, so I wasn't able to enjoy it as a sandwich. The fries were decent - well cooked, so they were crispy. King's Philly is an okay cheesesteak option, but it's not a first-choice one. I was curious since they're new, but when/if I'm in the mood for a cheesesteak, I unfortunately will opt for another place. I will return, though, to try the oxtail and the salmon phillies. Maybe those will help me to become a regular, but the classic philly beef will take a backseat. Thank you, King's Philly! JV

The man at the counter explained my topping options. So, I got onions, ketchup, and mustard for the dog, and sweet peppers, mayo, mustard, and grilled onions for my sandwich. He wrote it down, and said I'd pay once my order was called. It was fairly quick despite seeming busy with the start of a lunch rush. I paid, and went to my car for a quick bite before wrapping and eating the rest at home. First impressions, it was hot but not burn your tongue hot. The sandwich was also huge, and the hotdog a decent size. The hot dog was split in half and grilled on both sides, which was a nice texture enhancer. Could've used a little more condiments, I'm a condiment person, but it was a solid dog. Buns were toasted a little and they flattened out a bit, which was nice. It was a good dog to bun ratio. As for the sandwich, I was super excited for it. The bread is nice, spongey, not crisp. The meat was fine, good quality and chopped nice. It was cooked, a little dry but greasy. Cheese was great. Loved the melt and flavor. Sweet peppers were almost like pickles, which added a good balance. Mushrooms were sliced so thin it blended really nicely into the meat. Onions added more savory to the meat. The mayo and mustard made it a bit more moist. Overall, it was a really great, greasy, messy lunch. They did give me a bunch of napkins which helped a lot. Upon answering the phone the restaurant team member informed me they were pretty backed up and it would be approximately 45 minutes until pickup time. As I began to order something told me to just hang up the phone, I now wish I would have. We ordered a half buffalo chicken hero, for me, a whole super cheesesteak hero for my husband and a personal pepperoni pizza for our son + 2 orders of fries. The chicken on my hero was literally microwave chicken nuggets! I had two small nuggets cut into little pieces on my sandwich. Please see the pictures. My hero was mainly bread and lettuce. It was also mushy and looked nothing like the buffalo chicken sandwich advertised. My husband's Philly was soggy and not appetizing. It's very unsettling to receive food that looks like it may cause you to feel sick. Our son's pizza looked like a frozen pizza. Cheese similar to what kids get on their school grade pizzas. Yuck. Over priced microwave food is exactly what we received. This place is a rip off and should update their menu advertisement photos asap. Fraudulent marketing is not ok. We spent $50 on two subs and a small pizza. We should have just made peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and called it a night. At least that way we would know our stomachs would be ok in a few hours. I decided to trash my meal because I found hair in my sandwich. The fries were old and cold, you could tell they had been sitting for some time, as the subs were still hot.
