Other items found in the grab and go section included chocolate Belgian waffle and Pizza Mac and cheese. In case you want to find out further what the clean ingredients are in the Chocolate Belgian Waffle, you can check the label. There are Two listed: 1. Chocolate Belgian Waffle, and 2. Egg bites. Very informative. I tried to come up with some kind of workaround to get a protein that wasn't seed oiled but wound up with a bowl of raw vegetables including rotten asparagus (see photo). I visited for the first time today. The food was very good. I ordered the seasoned broccoli with my blackened salmon wrap. The wrap was delicious (I could not finish the entire wrap), the broccoli was a little over seasoned. I was a little disappointed that the meal came in a styrofoam tray, but I will definitely be back. Quick, clean eating. They even had the option of low-carb prepackaged meals. read more

I have been eyeing Clean Eatz for a while now since they offer meal plans that look delicious. So I was extremely happy when it was open when I was in the area for a nice drop-in lunch. I was greeted right away, and the young lady at the counter was able to answer all my questions about the menu and nutritional information. She also advised me that the menu had just changed in the past week, so if you're familiar with this place, it would be a great time to come in and try their new menu. After multiple suggestions, we ordered 2 drinks and 3 meals. The first drink was their protein smoothie 'Straw-Nana Blast,' which my oldest said tasted more banana than strawberry, but there were bits of protein powder chunks in it still. He wasn't a big fan of it. I did try it myself, and it wasn't bad but too sweet, more of an artificial sweet taste. I would rate it 3/5 Stars. Next, we tried their protein iced coffee 'Caramel Macchiato,' and I loved it. I would suggest drizzling the caramel on the sides of the cup as well as the bottom and top so it would have a consistent taste with the caramel, but overall, I would buy this again. I rate it 5/5. Our first meal consisted of the BBQ chicken flatbread with apple slices and vanilla yogurt, honey, & PB dip. I loved the BBQ chicken flatbread but could have used less red onion or made sure it was separated because there were moments where I was just chewing huge chunks of onion. I would rate the BBQ flatbread a 4/5. On the other hand, I was not a fan of their dip and apples. The flavor of the PB mixture and my palate do not agree with one another, and I honestly can't pinpoint exactly why. For me, I'd give it a 1/5, sadly because I was looking forward to this since it's a go-to snack for us anyway. My oldest got the Philly flatbread with Mac and cheese. He liked the texture of the sandwich but felt there wasn't enough Philly to bread ratio. He gave it 4/5. Next, the Mac-n-cheese. This is not the Mac-n-cheese we expected. It tasted like buttered noodles with a hint of queso. The queso has a super tiny kick for flavor, but that's the only flavor you will get. I rate it 1/5. The old man got the buffalo chicken wrap with Mac-n-cheese. He felt the same about the Mac-n-cheese as we did and did not even finish his serving. On the other hand, the wrap was really good, perfectly spiced. He rated it 4/5. Our order did not take long at all; we waited about 10 minutes with other customers ahead of us. The employees were really nice, and they obviously have returning customers because they welcomed a few with their names. They offer pre-made frozen meals on hand. If I did not have other places to be, I would have grabbed a few to try at home. There was a nice seating area with several tables, convenient grab-and-go foods, and the place was really clean. Their prices are very reasonable; everything is priced just like any other quick food joints. Their flatbreads and wraps come with one side for less than $10. A 6-piece kids' meal with small fries costs $8 at other establishments. Their drinks would be the same if not more at Starbucks. Place is spacious for dining in, clean with organized shelves and refrigerators. Most of the customers are part of their program so they just come to pick up their orders. Competitive with online prepped meals like Freshly. Although when you order ala carte, their menu showed $12.99 for a large bowl but rings up to $15.00! And their large bowl is more like a small to Medium size compared to Other places like Cava or Poke Bowl. Understaffed a bit, with only one person manning the orders, making of beverages, explaining the program, etc. There is only one other staffer in kitchen but boy was she fast in prepping my order! As for my order of large pick your bowl: Kale and quinoa (base), (grilled) shrimp (protein) and zucchini, asparagus and honey carrots (veggies) with Thai dressing. This place is AWESOME!! The quality of food is top tier. Of course all the meals are HEALTHY. But they also use the highest quality meats that I use at home like Wild Caught Salmon and Grass Fed Beef. This is the newest of the Hampton Roads Clean Eatz locations. This is BY FAR the cheapest place to get Meal Prep-if you do the frozen meals that is. This is a very nice and spacious location-although the parking lot is a little small. I went here on a Tuesday afternoon , a little after the lunch rush. I placed an order via their app which gave me two $2 off coupons so that was a plus. I ordered the queso steak melt , sweet potato fries and an orange pushppp smoothie. There were about 7 people in the restaurant but it's so spacious in there it's plenty of room to not feel crowded. The melt was to DIE for that may be my favorite order , over the Philly flatbread. There was so much meat and sauce it truly felt like I was eating something that would be a cheat meal. The smoothie was a perfect combo of vanilla and orange to give that creamsicle taste. Now the sweet potato fries I received were burnt, which is why I took off a star. I have no idea why they would serve burnt fries to anyone, and I brought it to the attention of the cashier. She apologized and gave me a new side of sweet potato fries perfectly cooked. I love this location! It's in a very easy to get to and lots of parking area of Greenbrier. They have wide variety of frozen prepped meals, snacks, and food that ordered. (including keto and low carb!) You can either go each week and pick your own variety of meal prep or order the Sunday before online and pick up at the counter. I love getting the Clean Eatz bison burger with sweet potato fries. It's a monthly treat for myself. But this location is so skimpy on their sides. The first time I ordered from here, I got 6 fries. Today I placed an online pickup order and I ordered an extra side of fries so I'd at get more fries, hopefully double than normal. I checked my order before I left and saw I literally had 8 fries. For an extra $1.50, that is a rip off. I went back inside and told the girl at the counter I ordered an extra side and she said the sides go by weight and that is considered double. I recently found out about Clean Eatz via Instagram and I am so glad I checked them out. They have pre-packaged, frozen meals ready to pick up on-site. The meals are about $7.00. The label lists the ingredients as well as the nutritional information including calorie amount. I have tried a few of the meals so far like the Greek chicken and rice, and the bbq beef bowl. They are very tasty and filling. Gabby was working at the time and she was super helpful and informative. She took the time to explain the meal plans to my mom and I. We've been picking up meals here every week for about a month now and we are obsessed. I've lost over 10 lbs just switching to these meals for lunch and dinner. While we've definitely had a few meals that weren't our favorite (bound to happen), we've discovered so many new things we've loved that we would have never tried or made ourselves at home.
