Pool table

This is a trendy newer restaurant in the area. Its a modern and comfortable atmosphere. They have a pool table and tvs. They also serve alcohol, which is great if you like mimosas with brunch. Big plus!!! Upon entering i was greeted by the staff. Everyone was very nice, including the owner. She came out and talked to me and made me feel very welcomed. She is very business minded and i like her ideas. I ordered a togo order of Chicken cheesesteak, side salad, and fries. Which was about $14. Everything looked delish. The cheesesteak was seasoned, which i most definitely appreciated. It had a good amount of meat in it, and i enjoyed it. The cheese fries were ok. I'd prefer a creamy cheese sauce versus shredded cheese, because the cheese got tough by the time i got home to eat it. But the fries were fine. The salad looked very fresh and it came with chipolte ranch. It was yummy!!! I sincerely wanted that piece of chocolate cake. It looked good, but it was $5 and i couldn't bring myself to do it. Most restaurants sell cakes that have several layers that are bigger slices for $6-8, so i can't see spending over $3.50 for the cake they had. But i know its gonna keep me curious until i try it. Lol. I have a serious sweet tooth. Dang it!!! I would definitely return to try other items on the menu. Its in a good location and customer service is good. A nice place to hang out at for a quick bite, and it was very clean. They even have a selfie station. Now thats cool!! The menu offers several options, your sure to find something good to eat. The owner has lots of ideas so i think their menu will be expanding soon. All in all i think this will be a new spot for me. Check them out... Get your hair done and eat if you want because there's also a salon. I almost forgot to mention. The short cuts pics that they have on the wall is fire! I think they do good work. The owners hair was bouncing and shiny and healthy. Now that's a good idea. 5 stars!!!

Came here for breakfast with one of my good girlfriends. This place is small yet intimate. In the shopping complex there is a we care salon and spa and you can easily become mislead thinking the cafe is inside.. but no, i had to get redirected to the further left of the complex near sal's pizza and behind rib city..in order to find this place. This place is a hidden gem that I myself wouldn't expect to have visited. I love the interior decor, clean, tvs on the wall, pool table and nice seating. This place had been around for the past 6 months. Our waitress was so sweet and accomdates us every second. She even gave us a run down on the menu and. that they even serve breakfast all day. The food was beautifully prepared. I got the chicken and waffles! It was delicious! My friend loved it so well that she placed a reservation for her husbands promotion party. They have a breakfast bar on sunday's and they serve lan it and lumpia, filipino food..surprisingly. It is a must visit again for the weekend.

DELICIOUS!!!! I was so pleased with my meal!! It was so good, I can't wait to go back and try something else. I had the Fried shrimp and it had amazing flavor and was delicious. My husband had a cheesesteak and ate half of it before I evven looked up!! He said it was delicious too! I would highly recommend you try this place soon, you won't be disappointed.

Chicken Salad Sandwich and fries! Soooo good!

Wecare cafe was delicious! The atmosphere is very nice and welcoming, along with the staff who works there and had great customer service. I ordered the chicken salad sandwich with fries and it was sooo good! After finishing my sandwich I had to place an order for more to-go. They also informed me that they have a hot food line that changes each day. The day I went in there they had baked ziti with a side salad and garlic bread, I got some to go for my mom and dad and they both ate all of it and said it was so good! Definitely will be coming back, especially for the chicken salad!

I love this place, it provides ready to go hot foods and menu orders! The staff is polite and treats you amazing! I loved the shrimp caesar salad that I got, it was so seasoned and fresh. The place is new and they're getting into the swing of things but this is already one of my fav spots! I can't get those hot honey bbq wings off of my mind! Love love love. I will always return to this cafe and say hello to the owners Jym and Ashley. Tell them Rakeen sent you

I came to We Care salon expecting a quick meal but I will say Melissa and Mia did an excellent job catering to my every request. The lemonade mango tea was to die for. I had the buffalo chicken sandwich , it did have bleu cheese on it which I typically don't prefer but I'll say is was the perfect topping on top of the perfectly fried thick piece of buffalo chicken. My little sister had the chicken tenders which happened to be hand battered and dipped to perfection.. not gonna lie deff grabbed a bite or two lol all in all I'd give this place a 10/10 for excellent food and even better customer service. Safe to say ...I'll be back

Fish and Grits cooked to perfection! Hubby and I shared this plate...

My husband and I had a DELICIOUS brunch at the WeCare Cafe. Our food was prepared exactly as we requested, was very hot and tasty!!! No need for salt or pepper because everything was well seasoned. My hubby said his coffee was delicious. It was freshly brewed. Our waitress, Ms Stephanie, was a pleasure. Our most highest compliments to the Owner Jem who really is a jewel, and our compliments to the Chef who did a great job with our food. They both greeted us at our table. Don't hesitate to support this business. You will be satisfied. They serve breakfast all day, great drinks, have great lunch items offered, and host special events throughout the week. (The salon next door is beautiful too! I can't wait to go get my nails and hair done! They offer other salon services as well). We will return to WeCare Salon and Cafe, if for nothing else than the Care-FULL Customer Service!!! Keep caring for the community WeCare. Thank you for your service.

This is an unassumingly great restaurant. It's a place that has a massive selection everyone can choose from yet all of the food looks and tastes great! I had the lumpia and pancit, but by the looks of it, it's the kind of place that I could also have a cheeseburger and it would be just as tasty and as high quality as the next dish. Staff are very family and down to Earth. I look forward to coming here more often!

French toast platter and burrito

Amazing customer service!! Great atmosphere, aesthetically pleasing, and such a cute place to eat. The energy is great and the food is even better. I got the French toast and my friend got a burrito. Proportions are definitely worth the price and there was a lot of effort in the presentation. I'm definitely coming back and bringing my friends. 10/10 recommend.

Our thoughts: Service: there was a breakdown in communication we requested to be seated outside and no one was assigned to take our order. So we had to go fetch someone to be serviced. They apologized. We were waiting to receive a steak knife to cut our fried chicken they forgot to bring that. Our server was very informative when asked about the restaurant concept and menu. She and the person she was training were very friendly. Food: we applaud the concept and the risk to infuse various cultures into the menu. Portion size for a $5 side of home fries was disappointing we are thinking it was maybe a half of a potato. The menu is diverse and the price point isn't bad. Ambiance: ok, we sat outside. We liked the diversity of customers coming in. Unfortunately this is a one and done for us and not because we are visiting just because we are food critics and know what we like.

I was greeted as soon as I walked in and I love how nice and friendly the staff are. The shop is always so clean and I love the beautiful decor! I was only there to grab the Power Fizzy but the Honey Graham Beignets sounded tasty, so I ordered those as well. My Strawberry Coconut Power Fizzy was great, per usual. It tastes like a dirty soda but it actually includes a lotus plant-based caffeine with benefits such as weight loss, mood boosters and blood sugar regulation and also includes antioxidants. The Honey Graham Beignets were wonderful! They were tossed in graham cracker crumbs and cinnamon with a honey drizzle! I enjoyed the smaller bite-sized beignets, and the butter cream dipping sauce combination the best! My coworker wished the blueberry dipping sauce was a little thicker. But, all three dipping sauce flavors are tasty. I also ordered a regular Honey-Cinna Lavender Latte, hot, with oat milk (additional $1 charge for the alternative milk) and it was delicious! Although my orders were 'to-go', this location offers a great vibe. The dining areas were clean and inviting. I can definitely add this sweet spot to my list of places to meet up with friends. The Brick House Diner is located in the Providence Square Shopping Center in Virginia Beach. This…read moreshopping center is accessible from both Providence Rd. and Kempsville Rd. I have had a few visits here now, and the most recent visit was on January 12, 2026. At the beginning of each new year, I like to try a place that I have never been to before, so January 1, 2026, was the first time I had come here. My mom was with me. Depending on when you come in general, parking can be limited at times with all the other businesses in this shopping center. Upon first look at the place from the outside, you can see the name and logo pretty easily. It looks similar to other places that happen to be in this same shopping center. We got here around 8 am on that first visit. When we came inside, it wasn't too busy yet, likely due to others probably still sleeping after being up past midnight for the new year. The inside of the place has a modern diner type of vibe, which fits the restaurant well. We were greeted and seated immediately. Our server Brooke came over pretty quickly and asked us what we would like to drink. I just do my usual of water with lemon, and my mom had gotten coffee. It would take us a little while to choose since there lots of good items to choose from. When she came back to check again, we were ready this time. I figured I'd get something I don't normally do, so I went for the French Toast Combo with scrambled eggs, bacon, and baked apples. My mom decided to go with the Ultimate Skillet with rye toast. The food would come out pretty quick. It was around ten minutes or so. Both breakfast entrees looked really good and they were hot. It felt like an indulgence when I started on the French toast since it has been a long time since having it. The baked apples were great too, and something else I don't normally have. I will note that I didn't get a blood sugar spike after this meal either that day. My mom enjoyed the Ultimate Skillet as much as I did with the French Toast Combo. After the experience from that first visit, we came back to try the lunch/dinner menu options for dinner that day. This visit was on January 12, 2026. After being seated initially, we moved over to a table since the booths were a bit tight. Kellie was our server on this visit. She asked us what we wanted to have to drink, and I went with water with lemon and my mom went with a coke. After taking some time to look over the menu, we were ready to order. My mom decided not to have too much, so she just went with the Loaded Baked Potato side item. I decided to try the Chipotle Chicken Ciabatta Sandwich with the homemade chips as the side. Just like the last time, it took about ten minutes or so for the food to come out. The sandwich I had was really good, and so were the homemade chips. This time, this meal did spike my blood sugar levels, but it was so good. My mom told me afterwards that the loaded baked potato she had come out cold. It was then that we let the server know, and she asked if she wanted to get it redone. She said no but wanted to take it home instead. The server did take off the cost of that item. It was likely due to it sitting before my sandwich was ready to bring them out together. Mom did get a box to bring it home and had it later that evening, and she said it was good when it was heated up at home too. Overall, we have had a few very good experiences here. The food and service were good, and the issue for my mom was handled well too. That shows they truly care about the experience of the visitors here. Both menus may be just two sides, but there is quite a bit to choose from. I think anyone would find something they would like here. There is one thing I want to note when it comes to paying. There is a 3% surcharge added to the total including taxes if you use a credit card instead of cash. In the end, if you are looking for a diner type of place, this one is worth checking out.

There was little to no wait, because we arrived…read moreright as they were opening. ;) We chose this restaurant for one of our breakfast outings because 1. it was close to our hotel (about a 10-15 minute drive from the Oceanfront) and 2. it is dog-friendly. The both of us, well three of us if you count the dog, enjoyed our meals. I went with the doggy-style version of the Chicken n Waffles. This take on the classic dish included: a bacon-infused waffle, fried chicken thigh, sausage gravy, candied bacon, and bourbon maple syrup. Overall, I enjoyed the dish with the small exceptions that the batter made the waffle really heavy for my personal tastes. I'm more of a fan of light, fluffy waffles. Unfortunately, I did not know this at the time, but the kitchen puts the syrup on the waffle for you. Personally, I like to add my own syrup because I do not like too much syrup on my waffles (and pancakes). However, those two minor issues did not take away from the dish. Also, the other aspects of the dish made up for those minor inconveniences. My partner ordered the Pongo, which was served with a fried chicken thigh, cheddar biscuit, scrambled egg, sausage gravy, house potatoes. If you are a fan of Bloody Marys, the restaurant has a selection of 4 or 5 interesting Bloody Marys. I went with the Porky's Revenge, which had bacon-infused vodka, Zing Zang Bloody Mary mix and a bacon-dusted rim. Both of us were quite pleased with our selections. Also, come here hungry because the serving sizes are quite large. Because of the large serving sizes, I thought the prices were relatively fair compared to other places the area. Actually, I would change "fair" to "generous". Both of our dishes were about 17 bucks with the 4ish dollar 'doggy style' add on. Generally speaking, our waitress was really on the ball. Although we were sitting outside, she frequently checked in us and was very professional while being funny. Hopefully, we can make another stop here during our next Va. Beach vacation adventure.
