Bubba's 33 is one of our favorite "go-to" restaurants, so when we were looking for something good to eat on a Monday evening, we headed straight there. As soon as we arrived, it was pretty busy, per usual. No matter what day we go, it's always packed, which goes to show people truly love this place. We were seated right away and our server quickly greeted us. We've tried quite a few items on the menu but I've never tried the Crunchy Fried Shrimp, so we ordered that along with the Meaty Meaty Pizza and Wings. We also grabbed some drinks as well. You can't beat $5 cocktails! I asked our server if I could make my Strawberry Margarita "spicy" and the bartender hooked me up! It had the perfect amount of spice and tasted amazing! My first time coming to Bubba's 33 with the family. Nice place bar vibes dimly lit kind of, very nice wait staff the service was great. The manager he was so nice, he'd given my sister and I a couple gifts for the next time we come in. Now what we ordered was really good the shrimp appetizer, and the onion rings spot on. A lot of places with onion rings the onion gets lost in the batter but Bubba did his right. Highly recommend if you're into them. My sister and I ordered the fired fish dinner that was good as well but could have used a bit more seasoning but I would get again. Our mom and her man had the steak and potatoes they also really enjoyed what they ordered. My family and I went to Bubbas 33 for an early dinner. They were busy, but it wasn't a wait for a table. They put us at a tiny table at first, but we requested something larger. The waitress was very nice about accommodating our request. They put us at a way larger booth which was more comfortable! It was a little louder because it was in the bar area, but it wasn't a problem. The inside where the bar is has several large screen tvs. There were several staff members there, and they were friendly. The menu has a good amount of options to choose from. Ranging from burgers, fish, steaks, chicken, apps, pasta, desserts, and etc. We ordered the shotgun shrimp, big o's onion rings, a mango frozen drink, blues lemonade, coffee, fish and chips, side salads, steaks, and Mac n cheese with chicken pasta. The food came out in a decent time. The only problem was my chicken and bacon macaroni came out after everyone had finished eating. It took 40 minutes for some reason, and they forgot the bread that comes on the side. It also had very little chicken in it!! The fish and chips were good. You get 2 good sized tempura battered fish. They weren't seasoned really, but tasted good with the sauce. The onion rings were tasty! They were big and definitely shareable!! They use tempura batter on them also. The sauce is like a smoky bbq sauce that went well with them. My parents enjoyed their steak and sides, they said the potatoes were good. My sister enjoyed her meal also. The side salad was a good portion. I enjoyed the shotgun shrimp. They were supposed to put the sauce on the side, so we sent them back and they corrected it with no problem. Our waitress Kaylee was very attentive, friendly, and upbeat! She made the visit enjoyable. I did appreciate that mostly everything was good! I wish I had gotten my bread and my Mac pasta was seasoned with more chicken. But I didn't check that until I got home since it was boxed up before we left. For a chain restaurant, I am very impressed. First off, service was excellent. Our waitress was super friendly and quick. Food came in less than 15 minutes and drinks came in about 5 minutes. I love it here! This is my favorite location out of the two that are here in the area it seems like every time we dine here it's a 10 out of 10 and this past Saturday wasn't any different. We sat at the bar with friends and it wasn't too busy usually they may be a wait to sit down but there was no wait we went around 6:00 p.m. I think.. My friends and I had decided to go out for dinner as we have not seen each other for several weeks. We choose to meet up at Bubbas33. This place is always crowded and the staff and the food here are reasons why. Our waitress was outstanding. We ordered some appetizers and drinks. We also requested that we would order our entrees after we had the appetizers on the table. An odd request, for sure but our waitress was so accommodating. SO i went in for the first time and was totally disappointed. It was on the dark side, the lighting is not what i consider normal, I sat at my table and the lighting was slightly colored, which made it hard to see details. Then there is the noise, WOW I COULD NOT HEAR MYSELF THING AND WANTED TO YELL EVERYTIME MY WAITRESS WALKED UP. I ordered a small pepperoni and jalapenos pizza with a small side salad with an unsweet tea to drink. First the salad, i was shocked no Italian or light Italian dressing. I chose honey mustard. It came out and had potato chips on top, i thought it was a salad not some modified bar food for a foot game or something similar. I will say they did serve in a proper chilled bowl as salad is supposed to be served. The pizza, first it was to garlic bready, some may like that and maybe it works with deep dish pizza but not for normal pizza; second was the jalapenos, not pickled like normal pizza places serve but raw and then it was chopped up into tiny squares not slices and they did not cook the pizza with the jalapenos on it, they were added after the fact. As people who eat jalapenos know raw jalapenos have a totally different flavor and texture profile than pickled and not cooking them with the pizza makes the flavor and texture different also. I normally eat the whole slice but with this pizza i left lots of crust, probably a third or more of the pizza. The only good part of my visit was the waitress, she was great, checked on me quite a bit watched my drink levels, friendly, polite and clean looking, all in all a great waitress. I had a family dinner on Tuesday last week. It was busy for a Tuesday. We had a reservation for six and a half (baby in a car seat which they put in a sling). When everyone arrived they sat us at a booth....as a previous server, baby's in slings by booths are a hazard unless the seat in placed in the booth by the wall. The booth in particular had a menu holder across the isle of the booth/main walkway, so servers and bussers were carrying trays of food, dirty dishes and silverware over the 6 week old baby. Thankfully the staff didn't drop anything. Our server, Jenna, couldn't hear us over the loudest music and we could barely hear each other speak. Basically, we were yelling. The food came out correct, in a timely manner, and was delicious. Only reasons I didn't give 5 stars is because of where we were sat and how loud the music was.
