For a chain restaurant, I am very impressed. First off, service was excellent. Our waitress was super friendly and quick. Food came in less than 15 minutes and drinks came in about 5 minutes. My family and I went to Bubbas 33 for an early dinner. They were busy, but it wasn't a wait for a table. They put us at a tiny table at first, but we requested something larger. The waitress was very nice about accommodating our request. They put us at a way larger booth which was more comfortable! It was a little louder because it was in the bar area, but it wasn't a problem. The inside where the bar is has several large screen tvs. There were several staff members there, and they were friendly. The menu has a good amount of options to choose from. Ranging from burgers, fish, steaks, chicken, apps, pasta, desserts, and etc. We ordered the shotgun shrimp, big o's onion rings, a mango frozen drink, blues lemonade, coffee, fish and chips, side salads, steaks, and Mac n cheese with chicken pasta. The food came out in a decent time. The only problem was my chicken and bacon macaroni came out after everyone had finished eating. It took 40 minutes for some reason, and they forgot the bread that comes on the side. It also had very little chicken in it!! The fish and chips were good. You get 2 good sized tempura battered fish. They weren't seasoned really, but tasted good with the sauce. The onion rings were tasty! They were big and definitely shareable!! They use tempura batter on them also. The sauce is like a smoky bbq sauce that went well with them. My parents enjoyed their steak and sides, they said the potatoes were good. My sister enjoyed her meal also. The side salad was a good portion. I enjoyed the shotgun shrimp. They were supposed to put the sauce on the side, so we sent them back and they corrected it with no problem. I'm convinced Bubba's 33 is actually a secret government experiment to see how much dopamine a human can handle before they simply become one with the booth. We started with the fried cheese, which I can only describe as pure, unadulterated bliss. It's less of an appetizer and more of a spiritual experience. If you're looking for a sign to forget your diet, this is it--crispy, gooey, and likely the reason I'll be doing extra cardio until 2027. Then came the "33" pizza. I'm not entirely sure what the "33" stands for--maybe the number of minutes I spent in a silent trance while eating it? Whatever it is, it was incredible. I love it here! This is my favorite location out of the two that are here in the area it seems like every time we dine here it's a 10 out of 10 and this past Saturday wasn't any different. We sat at the bar with friends and it wasn't too busy usually they may be a wait to sit down but there was no wait we went around 6:00 p.m. I think.. After a not-so-great experience during our last visit to Bubba's 33, my friend and I decided to return. We received a free pizza coupon from the manager due to the unfortunate, previous experience and the coupon was set to expire at the end of the month. I'm so glad we stopped in, because this visit was a much better experience! We were greeted promptly by our server and started off with drinks. I ordered the Watermelon Margarita which was great and very refreshing, it was the perfect summer drink. We decided on the Garlic Parmesan Wings, the Spicy Habanero Burger, and of course, redeemed our coupon for a Pepperoni Pizza. The wings and pizza were great, but I wasn't a huge fan of the burger. The fried jalapeño cream cheese just didn't work for me. Despite that, the service was great and the quality of the food was a big improvement from last time. This place is always crowded and the staff and the food here are reasons why. Our waitress was outstanding. We ordered some appetizers and drinks. We also requested that we would order our entrees after we had the appetizers on the table. An odd request, for sure but our waitress was so accommodating. It's always great coming here. The noise level is pretty loud, so it may be a little to have a conversation without slightly yelling, but it is a sports bar. They have enough tv's where you can see different games playing. Food is flavorful. For starters, I had the Shotgun Shrimp. It definitely has some kick to it. It came under a bed of what seems to be potato shavings. We ate those too, they were like fries, but on a lighter scale. For lunch, I had the Sunshine burger. The patty was fresh not frozen, juicy, and seasoned just right. The cheese was melted, egg was over medium, and the bacon had a perfect crisp. I did ask for some habañero sauce on the side because I was wanted to add a bit of spice. As a side, I had Mac n cheese. It wasn't the box kind. Cheese was creamy, noodles were al dente, and not salty. Food 10/10 My server was a doll. She refilled and checked on us periodically, and served us extra napkins. I had a family dinner on Tuesday last week. It was busy for a Tuesday. We had a reservation for six and a half (baby in a car seat which they put in a sling). When everyone arrived they sat us at a booth....as a previous server, baby's in slings by booths are a hazard unless the seat in placed in the booth by the wall. The booth in particular had a menu holder across the isle of the booth/main walkway, so servers and bussers were carrying trays of food, dirty dishes and silverware over the 6 week old baby. Thankfully the staff didn't drop anything. Our server, Jenna, couldn't hear us over the loudest music and we could barely hear each other speak. Basically, we were yelling. The food came out correct, in a timely manner, and was delicious. Only reasons I didn't give 5 stars is because of where we were sat and how loud the music was. This was my husband and I's first time here. The food was great....but our waitress, well that was an experience I've never had in my life! First we ordered our drinks and food and Adriana, our waitress, brought our drinks out and left. The kitchen brought our appetizers. He said he'd have the waitress bring plates, never saw her. We got the shotgun shrimp and they were, hands down, amazing! 10/10! I was worried they would be spicy but weren't. We also got the cheese sticks and they were lightly breaded so you could really enjoy the cheese, another great choice! Then the kitchen came out with our main dishes. I got the big salad with ranch and it was huge and fresh. My husband got the bacon cheeseburger and he said it was great and juicy. We were running low on drinks but couldn't find our waitress. She had yet to come back since taking our order and bringing our initial drinks. We stopped Lucy who was so sweet and got our drinks for us. I went to my hotel room feeling like trash after that meal. Next day i was in the bathroom regretting ever going to eat at this place. She explained what we could look forward to in both food and atmosphere. She wasn't wrong. Our server was great! But the overall cleanliness is what makes me not want to return any time soon. The floors inside the restaurant are greasy as well as in the women's restroom. One stall was out of order. It smells like urine in the entire restroom. The soap dispensers are barely holding onto the wall. The floors are so dirty, there's dirt caked onto the edges and corners and the stall walls look like they've never been cleaned at all. They gave us a booth in the back corner and with me recovering from back surgery, I said I couldn't sit there and walked to what I felt was the heart of the place and where I prefer to hang out... THE BAR area. I saw people leaving from a long table and asked if there was a reservation needed and she said it was first come first serve. So, I stood there and asked if we could take this table. They made us wait up front as they cleared it off and then we got seated. Not to get sidetracked, the server didn't seem to know much that was on the menu or any questions I ask such as if the burger was off of a skillet or grilled, what type of bun, etc. I figured she was new so I gave it the benefit of the doubt by looking at how other foods were that came out. The service was spotty and delayed to get things along with my sister having a cocktail that was too sweet for her to drink and ending up having a very negative interaction with the manager over it. Also, all of our tickets were messed up with items being on other tickets and all over the place which I had a feeling would happen when I was asking questions in the beginning. Again, great food, great atmosphere, and great specials but could use a couple of tweaks with the overall service and this would be an awesome place that I would love to bring the wife to! Well Well! I am a frequent visitor twice last week. Several visits throughout the year, countless $$$ spent. Ok on my last visit I took some family members with me from out of town. Well my salad at the bottom had a piece of hair. The waitress came over and confirmed this as well. Now my 6 raspberry chipotle wings was good on the very last wing what do i find another piece of hair OMG! Let's get the manger, she came over I showed her the strand of hair around the chicken with sauce. Omg! On duty manager Im so sorry we all wear hair nets in the kitchen well it sure is not mine.
