Food got out in a good amount of time, and the waitress was rather nice. Got 2 pizzas and garlic knots. The pizzas were good for the price, they are worth a buy. Sadly the garlic knots came out awfully raw, didn't realize till the 2nd one. The outside was cooked and a lil charred, but the inside was absolutely raw, it was just tragic(they still tasted good). I'm no chef, but I believe cooking the garlic knots in a different temperature and longer time would definitely work. Food was good, do wish the garlic knots were cooked better read more

Now, onto the grub - a half cheese, half pepperoni medium pizza and a side of 6 buffalo wings. The order was lightning-fast, and the food arrived pronto. Wings were the classic buffalo deal, nice and crispy, but a tad saucy for my taste. Pro tip: eat 'em quick before they go soggy. 4/5 stars. There are no fountain drinks, all drinks are bottled which is convenient but ends up being pricey. 3/5 stars. The pizza was an extra saucy affair, so if you're a light saucer, speak up when you order. Still, it was a hit with the family. 4/5 stars. Called for pick up and was ready by the time we showed up from leaving Grassfield Walmart! The decor inside is pretty simple. I ordered my (1) slice of cheese pizza and large cheesy bread online. It was ready when promised. The cheese slice was huge! The crust on the pizza slice looked a bit weird. Not bad for $7. The large cheesy bread was a large pizza size of garlic buttery cheese bread and I was there for it! Pretty food. When I noticed a new pizza restaurant was going into Battlefield Shopping Center in the Great Bridge section of Chesapeake I was intrigued. I found their Facebook page and began to follow their journey. Great Bridge Pizza is located between Buckets Bar and Grill and Sunrise Breakfast Shoppe. I believe Buckets and GBP share the same ownership. They've only been open less than a week but have already proven themselves a great asset to the Chesapeake pizza scene. I got my first order from them today. Ordering online was quick and easy and my order was ready when I arrived to pick it up. The large (14 inch) pizza was fabulous. The crust was superb and baked just right. I really enjoyed the sauce as well. The fresh toppings (pepperoni, sausage, onions, mushrooms, bell peppers) were abundant and the whole pie was a medley of delicious flavors and textures. The chicken wings were fresh and hot and oh so enjoyable. They were just slightly crunchy and very flavorful. I wish Great Bridge Pizza much success. They are off to a great start. The location is very convenient for me and the staff is friendly and inviting so I am sure I will be back in the near future. read more

I rated it a 2 star. It's truly a 3 star, but wanted to balance some of these out of control 5 star reviews giving people a false perception of what this is. This is perfectly fine pizza. The kind you'd expect at an office party. Not offensively bad, good enough to get the job done, but nothing that will keep you coming back. The first warning sign was the diamond pattern on the bottom of the pizza. For those that know you know that's the sign that the pizza you're about to have is the most mid ever. The dough is surprisingly flavorful, but there's no crisp to it. Because the oven it's baked in is inadequate. They kind of do the best with what they have. If you like a more doughy pizza you will maybe like this. If you like Papa John's Pizza you'll probably like this. For some reason people in Hampton Roads love pizza like this. If you like Chicho's pizza this is your new favorite place. The sauce was a little sweet to my taste. The cheese does what it always does with cheap pizza. Becomes invisible to the taste buds. The toppings the same way. The sausage had a faint flavor to it. I did appreciate that their price was actually very fair for the product you get. I give them high marks for the price. Large pizza with two toppings for 15 bucks is a good deal these days. I would suggest this pizza to people that are Papa John's and Chicho's fans. You'll love it. For those that see the high online scores and hope it's something elevated, it's not. Don't go out of your way. If you have an upcoming office pizza party or your kids soccer team has a party pick up a few. It'll get the job done. read more

I don't post many reviews but I like to support small family owned businesses and this one deserves the review! 1st thank you for making so many pizzas and including wings a few weeks ago for our Grassfield Soccer Team Dinner! The pizzas and wings were amazing! We heard GBP had great Philly's too so we tried them out last night. We got 2 Philly's w/fries and the wings...WOW. This will be our new "go to" for pizza, wings, and philly's. The food was amazing! The Philly's were loaded and the crinkle fries were fresh and cripsy! I'm very impressed. Also, shout out to the staff! It was Friday night, they were busy as can be and had a friendly, can do attitude. They all worked together well. You just don't see that these days... people seem to hate to work... Honestly, I have quit going to places for attitudes even though I enjoy the food, so keep up the energy GBP staff - it does matter! read more
