Chick N Roll (CNR) is a go to spot if you are hungry for a phenomenal chicken sandwich with a Korean twist. Ordering is a breeze at one of the kiosks. The friend staff will bring your food to you and bus your table when done. The large parking lot had plenty of spots. decor is modern and minimal with great accent decorations. Food wise CNR does chicken VERY well. My go to is the CNR sandwich with spicey soy garlic sauce on the chicken. The sandwich has cheese and shredded cabbage on it and there are several side options. My favorite is the sweet potato waffle fries. The pair of chicken wings also make for a great addition to your meal. In All CNR is a great spot to grad some chicken, a great beverage and awesome sides.

Went here for lunch, since it was close to the office. I got the Shrimp Tempura and the Spicy Bacon Basil Chicken sandwich with Sweet Potato fries. I highly recommend the Shrimp as they had a great batter and perfect to split with a group to start off. The sweet potato fries were also great, but the sandwich was mid. A little dry and should have gotten it with fried chicken after having the shrimp. Cool little venue with games all over the place, so perfect for all ages.

While we were in the area looking for a bite to eat, we decided to stop by Chick N Roll, since I'd heard great things about it. The inside was very clean and spacious, and the staff gave us plenty of time to look over the menu before ordering. We went with the Pork Dumplings, Spicy Soy Garlic Wings, Spicy Lover Chicken Bites, and the King Katsu Sandwich. Thankfully, our food was ready in about 15 minutes. Once we got home, we couldn't wait to dig in. The Pork Dumplings were crispy and full of flavor. The Spicy Soy Garlic Wings were decent but I felt they could've had a little more spice, flavor and sauce. The King Katsu Sandwich was massive but it was fried perfectly and was very good. My absolute favorite was the Spicy Lover Chicken Bites. They had just the right amount of kick and flavor, and I instantly regretted not ordering a larger size lol. Since one of our meals was a combo, I tried the Passionfruit Lemonade which was amazing and super refreshing. Overall, the staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the food hit the spot. I'd definitely return if I'm in the area and highly recommend stopping in to try them out!

I have been going to Chick N Roll once a week for lunch. I am a fan of the CNR chicken sandwich and I've been getting the Soy Garlic wings. I always get and recommend the blueberry refresher!!!!! The service is efficient and fast! They have games on the tables that I always enjoy from mazes to board games to arcade games . I love this place especially since they have expanded. It's so spacious and exciting! Staff is superb, I've never met such a warm and caring staff like this one ! They rock!

I'm so excited to hear that Chick N Roll is open everyday! They've even expanded their restaurant into the neighboring space making it easier to accommodate more guests! The restaurant is spacious and modern with plenty of places to sit and free arcade games for the kiddos! I highly recommend their signature CNR chicken sandwich which has great bread to meat ratio, delicious and juicy with every bite! Now that they are open on Mondays, I am likely going to stop by way more often.

Katie's service was amazing! Food is always delicious and it's an amazing atmosphere, especially for the younger generation! Me and my significant other are moving to Maine in a few weeks and we will for sure miss this place! Thanks for a few months of deliciousness!

My sandwich was pretty dry. I didn't even finish it. We got the food to go . I would go back one more time to try something else off the menu because they have a lot of different things that sounded good.

CNR Combo: Spicy Soy Garlic chicken sandwich, fries, and a strawberry pineapple refresher.

I stopped by the Chesapeake location of Chick N Roll for lunch with some friends and had a pretty solid meal. I ordered the CNR Combo with the Spicy Soy Garlic chicken sandwich, fries, and a strawberry pineapple refresher. The chicken sandwich was absolutely delicious. The flavors were bold, and the bun was perfectly soft, holding everything together without falling apart. The strawberry pineapple refresher was a great addition; light, refreshing, and not overly sweet. However, I was a bit confused when I didn't see sushi on the menu at this location. Isn't it called Chick N Roll? I know the Portsmouth location offers sushi, so I was expecting the same here. It feels like they're missing half of their concept without it! That being said, I have to admit this might be one of the best chicken sandwiches in the Hampton Roads area. Even without the sushi, it's worth coming back for the chicken alone.

Let's grab a quick lunch. I was scrolling through Yelp and found this place. I like KFC (Korean Fried Chicken) and wanted to see how's it done on this side of the country. I love the ordering process. It's simple and easy. Go to a kiosk, pick what you want, pay right there or at the counter if paying with cash, and wait. Everything is packed to go but there are tables available. Unfortunately trash bins were full and the tables needed to be wipe down. My appetizers shrimp shumai. They look like the kind you get from the frozen section at Costco. Rating 3/5 I got the CNB BBQ wings. it was ok. There was a lot of meats on the wings. Flavor was average. Rating 3/5 Lastly was the bulgogi sub combo. The filling was good and good portion of meat. The problem I had with this sandwich was the bread. After a couple of bites the bread split apart. Don't get me wrong the bread was nice and soft. It's just the spine can't hold the fillings. Make sure you grab a fork before you leave. Rating 3/5 Overall three stars. The ordering process is a piece of cake. And packing is really simple. Everything is package so nothing gets crushed or spilled. It's just the taste was just plain. M

I had been to Chick N Roll's location in Portsmouth once before with my kids, but I don't go to Portsmouth that often. So when I heard that they were opening in Chesapeake, I was so happy that they were going to be so much closer to me! I have been to the Chesapeake location a few times, and the service and food are just solid! - Parking - Center lot. - TLC - The ordering process is pretty straight forward and pretty efficient. There are self-service kiosks that make ordering super easy. When you do see a staff member, they are always super friendly and make sure you get your goodies! - Noms - I've had a number of things, but I especially love their CNR Deluxe chicken sando, chicken bites and their pickled veggies. They have really perfected the art of the KFC, the OG, the only KFC I knew, long before I immigrated to North America LOL. Any chicken component they prepare for any of their items, is always juicy and that perfect crispiness of a KFC. The sauces are awesome! I love ordering their side of pickled veggies too. The pickles balances out the fried chicken. My only wish is that I would love for them to add the Korean radish to the mix of pickled veggies. Nothing like chikin mu with KFC! And just one more note, if you get your items to go, they have the best, sturdy packaging for their stuff! Again, solid! You can tell they really thought things through! Enjoy, Friends and never stop exploring!

CHICK N ROLL has nice modern inviting decor. We entered and were greeted by a friendly lady at the counter who instructed us how to place our order on IPads. It took us longer to read the menu and choose our flavors, then we waited for the order to come out! The serving boxes were open to allow the hot steam to release and allow the wing sections to cool. This kept them crunchy as my car now smelled edible. Arriving home with an empty box of fries and super crunchy flats and drums. Chick N ROLL is a must visit. I'd like to try each flavor. The spicy soy garlic had a really good flavor, spicy enough garlic enough and salty soy great flavor. The wings are tossed in a delicate mixture with a but of stick to it to lick off your fingertips.

Popped in this evening for a chance to roll in and get some chicken. I was taken aback by the decor at how zen, clean, and nicely decorated it was inside. There was plenty of seating. I checked out the menu online before stepping inside and was happy to find an ordering station that was self-service. A staff member stepped out and greeted me and said hello. The menu screen was very easy to navigate and offered a thorough description of the menu items. You could opt to pay at the counter, mobile pay, or tap/insert card to pay. I order some potato croquettes, chicken bites, & a passion fruit milk tea with boba. Everything was nearly packaged in these slide out carton containers. They neatly stacked one on top of the others. All of the food was hot, fresh, and delicious. I really enjoyed the milk tea. I wish they had spoons to scoop out the fruit jelly from my milk tea. I asked, but they didn't have any at the time. I would definitely roll back for more!

First timers! This location in Chesapeake, it's definitely a good one. The decorations inside are gorgeous, very cute place. You could order your food from Computer screens and pay without even having to speak to anyone. There is a button that you can press for someone to come out and speak with you if need be, which I like But a little standoffish too. The food is definitely five stars, absolutely delicious, my husband and I both got sandwiches. I got the katsu he got the CNR chicken sandwich. It was definitely very fresh, as well as the fries, and you can add a fry and soda for an extra two dollars. The one thing that I didn't like was the fact that when I asked to switch my cheeses to provolone rather than the American, it seem like it was a problem, which I know this food can't be premade so I just wasn't understanding that at all. Not everybody likes American cheese, and the sandwich I wanted had American cheese on it. Also, when we asked some questions about the menu and just different things of that nature, it didn't seem like the woman who came out, really knew how to answer our questions about the business, which just kind of made me uncomfortable, but all in all we will be back, and that is solemnly because the food is delicious!

But after 50 minutes had passed, I finally had to go up and ask about my order. When I finally got my food, it was clear things were not handled well. The fries were made immediately and left sitting in a closed Styrofoam container the entire time my sub was cooking. By the time I received them, they were a soggy, wet pile of fries with zero crisp left. As for the sub itself, it was about 90% bread and maybe 10% actual filling. It took three hard, crusty bites before I even reached any meat--and when I did, the flavor was disappointing and lackluster. Definitely not what I expected from a place known for subs. Their "Italian dressing" is really just a ton of oil with a tiny splash of vinegar. They should just call it what it is instead of something misleading. To top it off, I had to ask someone to wipe the table before sitting because it wasn't cleaned. Overall, this visit was a miss from start to finish.
