Hidden gem. Great pizza. Fast pic up times and legit pizza. Coming from NJ I am picky. They get the job done.

I was in the mood for a cauliflower pizza but didn't want to drive across town to get some. Of course I Yelped it and saw that Pizza Plus was just 5 minutes away from me. It's in a small shopping center. There was only one customer inside. The young lady at the register was super nice and friendly. She was patient with me as I asked about their pizza and sizes. I ordered their special of 2 slices of pizza and a drink for $7.50. I also ordered a large pepperoni, pineapple, and mushroom pizza, and a cauliflower mushroom, prosciutto, and spinach. It was ready in about 15 minutes. I noticed they offer cannolis, cheesecakes, and assorted cakes. My cauliflower pizza was delicious! My son and hubby loved theirs too. Their menu is pretty extensive so I can't wait to go back and try their pastas. Great place! read more

It was adequate. I ordered delivery through their website and the wait time said 45-60 min wait. No issues with that, but I never got any kind of update after that. After getting close to an hour, I called just to see if I could get some sort of an update on the delivery. The young lady who answered the phone was nice enough, though I did get put on what seemed like a pseudo hold (like the phone was muffled). After a few minutes, I was told the delivery driver had "just left" and then she apologized about their "new system." The delivery driver came quickly enough (we live only about a mile or so away) and delivered the food. Once we started in on the meal, it was apparent that the pizza had been sitting for a while (it was warm, but certainly not hot and/or fresh). My best guess is there was a mixup and they were expecting pickup vice delivery. In the end, it was perfectly adequate. Would I order again? Maybe. I'm certainly not going to go out of my way to do so though. read more

I've only ever done delivery from Pizza Plus, so I can't speak to the specifics of the restaurant. The food though is amazing! I don't know what they put in their pizza but is excellent! It's distinctive and addicting! Recently we also ordered the fried raviolis (included in the picture). Those were also quite good. They'll probably be added to our regular order now. The delivery service is fast and polite. This is our go to spot when we are craving pizza. read more

I am so thankful for Pizza Plus because their food and service is so reliable! Every time I'm in a bind or get so busy that I didn't pack a lunch for work or I need to bring home dinner to my family last minute they are my go to. There delivery service through the Slice app is also so helpful. I also stop by the place a lot and there is always plenty of parking. They have always been efficient with my take out order. I have had the pizza both meat lovers and the works, the lamb gyro , caprese and greek salad and the wings . Last time I went they were serving waffle fries, they were super yummy! So I ordered a margharita pizza a few weeks ago, and it was horrible. Normally I just either get cheese( extra cheese bc you have to actually have a topping) or pepperoni but this particular day I wanted a lil basil garlic and tomato sauce. I still to this day don't know what my pizza actually was. Between the mozzarella( so they called it) and my other toppings everything just fell apart. Been here several times this year and I would say that they are very consistent!!. I will typically drop by order a pizza, then run to the Food Lion next door to pick up done Drinks and with 15 mins the pizza is ready to be picked up.. The pizzas are good and flavorful, i have noticed that their pizzas are fairly big, so you get a lot for the price.. I believe the large pizza is 16" and big enough to serve a family of 3-4 people.. the toppings are fresh and the sauce has hood flavor. They sell pizza by the slice for anyone tbat wants to grab a quick lunch.. Only negative is what I would call the droopy pizza syndrome of the of the thin crust New York style pizzas. Most of the time you get a good crust that allows you to pick up a slice of pizza without having all the toppings fall onto the plate. We ordered a pizza, and upon arriving home, we noticed there were cockroach remains on it. When we went to the place to file a complaint, we were treated in a completely rude manner, with them implying that we had placed the insect there ourselves. The pizza was untouched, but they refused to refund our money or replace it with another one. I will never return to this place in my life. read more

My half a sub and fries was delicious. I really like their rolls! The staff were friendly, my food was made quickly. I chose to have it to go but there are a few tables for those who may want to dine in. We got pizza from Pizza Plus last night and I was impressed! I'm gluten free so I got the cauliflower crust with the Hawaiian pizza and the crust had great flavor! I am a regular Pizza Plus customer but yesterday was my first experience ordering a large number of meals to take out. There were 8 of us and we each had our own choices. Moreover, I had to change the pick-up time on the order. Pizza Plus accommodated our varied meal choices and the time change without batting an eye. The order was ready, the servings ample, the food was hot and everyone was pleased with their meals. Speaking for myself, I had the Chicken Parmigiana and it was simply superb. Beyond that, the counter folks are invariably polite and helpful. I typically do not write reviews on anything and I am not the easiest guy on the planet to please, but Pizza Plus simply outdid themselves yesterday in the most positive of ways. Small chicken alfredo pizza! (I always add spinach). Never in a million years would I have thought to put alfredo onto a pizza, but guys. Lemme tell you.. This is my absolute favorite pizza. My go to. It can be a bit messy, so you might wanna wait for it to cool down a bit, or just go in with a fork and knife. So delicious. Highly recommend you try it for yourself. read more

One of my favorite places for pizzas. Staff is friendly. We rather do pick up though faster service the delivery due to popularity. They have coupons so if you have a good size family that helps out. Favorite pizza place in all of Hampton roads. We have tried so many before finding pizza plus. Closest pizza we have found that's similar to NJ/PA pizza. Their Prices are affordable, and you must try the chicken piccata entree. Will definitely enjoy this "mom and pop" pizza shop. read more

I've eaten here twice in the last two weeks, I'm a heavy foodie and I don't mind traveling anywhere for a good meal. I ordered a cheese pizza and when I called in the person on the other end told me I would have to add another topping bc it's a one topping special. So I fell in love when I had the option for extra cheese as a topping most establishments don't count that as a topping. The sauce is great, the amount of cheese is marvelous my only complaint is I wish the crust was a lil crispier but overall wonderful pizza and establishment read more

Haven't been here for a couple years and since our usual place was on vacation for the week and Papa John's was closed we decided to try there again. Holy crow! The crust was not tough at all. Sauce was well flavored and cheese... don't ask for extra, because there was so much you couldn't see the sauce anyways. If I had to put my only complaint in, it would be that it was just a tad light on the bottom, but that was not a big issue. read more

AMAZING pizza, pasta and sides. We order here frequently from the slice app to get free delivery and points towards free pizza. Highly recommend their garlic knots, lasagna, manicotti, Stromboli's and calzones. Huge servings too! Everything is made fresh and they are QUICK. Most of the time when we order it will give us an estimated time for the order to be ready for delivery/pickup and it's usually off by about 30-45 mins. Meaning it's ready way sooner than they estimate. Great customer service and very friendly employees. This has become our new favorite spot. read more

This is my local pizza place, love the pizza. My family eats there at least 3 time a month. We sometimes order a pizza put it in the fridge and heat it back up the next day for breakfast. Set the oven to 400 with a stone, 15 min later the crust is crispy and the toppings perfect. The chicken wings are no big deal but the fries with cheese the best and you can get bacon with that. read more

We are "newish" to deep creek and are still familiarizing ourself with delivery places for those nights we are too tiered with our two kids lol. And Pizza Plus was a hit! 1. They have a wash cool app that I can order, pay, and tip on! 2. Had great deals. 3. When the food arrived it was hot and fresh! And delicious. My husband is a picky eater, and he said the pizza was bit too cheesy for him. So next time I'll ask for less cheese. But it was delicious! We did their 18" one topping, garlic knots, and wings deal. Never had a problem here other than wait time. Food is pretty good and I'd say the better out of the other competitors around. They go through employees a lot but they always come across nice people who do work there. Place is clean and if you walk in you can see what happens in the kitchen and they're pretty kept up. This is my grandmas favor place to get a supreme pizza with light sauce. read more

4/22/22: I'm updating this to 4 stars. I gave them another chance one day for lunch this past December and they nailed it. Since then my family has been ordering regularly both pickup and delivery. We have tried all the specialty pizzas and they're all delicious and fresh! Service has been prompt, polite and consistent as well. Their white sauce pizzas are killer! read more
