Our slices were pretty good. It's definitely your hometown pizza place type spot. We sat inside and ate. My kids loved it. The cashier was extremely nice and personable. She even came over with blank paper and a lot of markers for the kids. And the pizza was ready super fast. I would definitely comeback on the experience alone. read more

Atlas pizza is my go to pizzeria in North Suffolk. I mean, it beats the Pizza Hit around the corner. I appreciate that they were a sleeve when they toss the dough so that it doesn't touch the men's hairy arms. Cleanliness is everything. However on my most recent visit, the person that took my order at the counter and handed me my pizza had on filthy shirt. The shirt (and pants) had actually blackish dirt smears all over the front. I thought pizza dough is white (not the color of dirt) so maybe he was washing dishes or sweeping and moping?? Not sure but I found it very unacceptable to handle food in dirty clothes. Their Pizza is wonderful. Have only ordered the 'mushroom cheesesteak', but multiple times. Is always delicious! I don't care for their thick breading on their mushrooms, zucchini, cheese sticks etc either ordered individually nor via their 'mix fry'.. Wish they offered some salads with mixed greens vs plain ole iceberg. Wish their garlic knots were more flavorful. I've eaten their pizza and cheesesteak since they opened but have only ever had it delivered, so I can't comment on their customer service other than placing a phone order where there's never been any issues. I ordered three cheesesteaks, or thought I was. They ended up being a cheesesteak hoagie. Don't be mistaken, there must be a difference from an actual cheesesteak and a cheesesteak hoagie at least from here. My husband and son said theirs was fine so that's great. I ordered a chicken cheesesteak and it tasted like a box of salt was dumped in it. The worst part is I'm sensitive to having a lot of salt, I get bad headaches the next day (I have an optical hypertension condition) not to be confused with high blood pressure which is different. I know whenever I eat out I take a chance but sometimes you just don't want to cook. Anyway, we've ordered cheesesteaks from here before and never had a problem. I love the chicken one but probably won't try it again. Last part of my review is I did have to wait about 20 minutes longer than they stated. That's kind of par for the course these days though. I'm originally from Connecticut, so I'm used to good pizza. That said it's been a while since I've had good pizza as most places around here are pretty lackluster. Atlas, however, was not. This was the first time I've gone, so I got a small cheese as a benchmark, and a small Atlas white pizza. Crust: Its thin crust, which usually means it won't be filling, and will be soggy in the middle. This wasn't the case, the crust had a good crunch and maintained its structure very well. It also had a pleasant amount of chewiness to it which is a plus. Cheese: I can tell it isn't 100% mozzarella, but that actually isn't a bad thing here, as they still use a good amount of mozz in the cheese, so it melts well and has a nice stringiness to it. It wasn't overly greasy or salty, and had a good balance to it. Sauce: This is a difficult one for most places. Atlas does well enough. The sauce had a good flavor and there's a perfect amount on the cheese pizza, though the white I got could have had a little more. My one desire would be a bit more tang but other than that it was good. All in all their Pizza is probably one of the best I've had around the area, and I'm very picky. You won't really be disappointed by this pie. read more

Haven't been here in years. Kid 1 got cheese pizza. It's thin crust and had good cheese coverage. He liked it. Kid 2 got turkey cheese hot sub. She like it and started stealing pizza from kid 1. She liked it too. I had a beef Philly w/ mushrooms. The mayo/cheese/beef grease made a creamy sauce that I really enjoyed. The onions were small which I like. Every where else I dabble and I'm disappointed. Everything about it is perfection! The crust is thin and crispy, the toppings (spinach, tomato, broccoli, mushrooms) are fresh. The broccoli is always crisp and doesn't seem like it's been sitting around or out of the freezer. I just love love LOVE it. Eh, wasn't really feeling the pizza unfortunately. It's NY style, but it's missing something that just doesn't bring it there all the way. We ordered the pizza and had it delivered to our home. Delivery wasn't exceptionally long, perhaps 40 mins or so after calling (part of that time due to the distance we are from the location I'm assuming). We ordered a pepperoni and onion pizza. Opened it up, not a whole lot of pepperoni. We also ordered mild wings which were ok, nothing to write home about. Lastly the garlic bread, which was alright but it wasn't a major garlicky flavor that you would get with traditional garlic bread. Overall, I'm glad I tried it because I have been wanting to try this place for a while, but I won't be going back. Usually my wife and I stop and eat our New York style pizza in the restaurant along with an antipasto and it has always been delicious . last night I stopped in to order a pizza and antipasto to go . when I got home I opened the box and I could tell right away just by looking at the pie that it was different. It was much thicker than normal and the pie looked like it was cooked to long . it turned out it was the worst pie I ate in a long time . tasted nothing like we usually get from Atlas and the underside of the pie was definitely cooked to long it was very hard .ended up eating one slice and the rest of the large $20.00 pizza ended up in the garbage read more

I've ordered from here a few times, not the best food to be perfectly honest but the only pizza place around that delivered... until now. Today will have been my last order from Atlas. They are notorious for forgeting stuff like the soda you've ordered! Today the driver tells me they'll go right back and get it for me... 2 hours later I have to call the place and they say "I don't think you paid for any soda" Were you going to give me the courtesy of a call?? or just put your hands over your eyes and hope I've dissapeared? I have been meaning to try Atlas Pizza for a while now, working in the area I have driven past it to go else where but being Friday and one of the few days I don't bring my lunch I went for it ! I wish I had listened to the alarm bells going off in my head ! For a Pizza place that does subs and oth Italian dishes and has great specials posted in the windows it should of had more than one other table I soon found out why. I love thin crust Pizza and the crust was awesome!!! And two 3 toppings slices with a drink for 6 bucks and change very reasonable. The good part ends here, the pizza crisp and warm not 100% hot but Edible was very greasy, the toppings Pepperoni, sausage and olives were okay but just okay there was very little sauce and the cheese was barely present the saving grace was the crust and that only goes so far. Now on to the restaurant, it is my belief if you have more than say 2 tables you should have to have a restroom there was none. Which may have been good considering how dirty and unkempt the place was. The caked on black dirt on the baseboards from dirty mop water was thick, the dirt was soaked into the crevices of the tile and disgusting. The smeared windows from a dirty washing rag well ugh. Also barely working if working a/c on a 90+ degree day man the staff was a little ripe to say the least. Speaking of the staff the waitress/counter girl brought my food only to come back 5 minutes later and stand 6" from my table staring at the TV then me TV then me i don't need an audience while I eat! I am not a chain fan but pizza hut just opened in the same shopping center this place may be gone soon and probably won't be missed. read more
