Moving forward, I would NEVER order from this place! I called to order and pick up this evening and the 'Owner' laid the phone down each time and purposely would not pick up! I could hear when she was helping someone and when she was not! When I tried back several times to place my order, she actually chastised me for calling back! That's right! Chastised me! Loveeee Bella! Their pizza is so tasty and you can taste the brick oven flavor. They always feel like family whenever you're there. They make you feel so welcomed. They're clean and efficient. It is just two of them so patience is a virtue on busy nights. I'm not a fan of the meatball sub being that the bread is thick and they cut the meatballs in half so not getting much there. And the Sicilian pizza was hard. But they are our go to for regular pizza! read more

Better than average, but still room for improvement, not gonna lie. A friend recommended this place claiming it was, "the best pizza I've ever had," so I had high expectations. The thing I like most about this place is their crust. It's thin, crisp, and cooked perfectly. Their toppings could use improvement in my opinion though. For their margherita pizza, I feel as though there should be more basil, or have it sliced thinly all over, because there was just three leaves sporadically placed atop. The cheese also seemed to dissolve into the sauce, making it taste more like a tomato pie that needed salt. Their bianca had a pleasant garlic presence, and the tomatoes add a nice touch of flavor with the lumps of ricotta. This place is one of the best in this area that I've had so far, especially with the prices. They for sure have the best crust I've ever had in this state so far. Authentic tasting. Bought a large pep, large cheese, med combo, med Stromboli, and 2 fettuccine Alfredo's. The lady that took our order was very pleasant. This time was even better than the first time we ordered. Very fairly priced. The crust on the pizza was fresh and perfect. Perfect ratio of cheese to sauce. Phenomenal Napoli pizza. The crust is thin and it's crispy, cheesy and the sauce is delish. I was welcomed a greeting by a sweet Italian lady that was speaking in Italian to the cook. The atmosphere was very welcoming and friendly and the walls were decorated with photos of beautiful Italy. Coming from a Brooklyn New Yorker born and raised this pizza is very delish. I was surprised to even find a good pizza place here in Norfolk VA. We ordered a large pie and the biggest pie they have is 26 Inches and it's huge! Oh my God... the pepperoni stromboli is absolutely amazing!!! I have to have it every time I come here. I've had a few of their pizzas along with the chicken alfredo. The pizza was good, not great but I was NOT a fan of the alfredo. I think there was too much parsley?? Or something else green in the sauce. However I have to give them 5 stars for the stromboli alone. You can tell the dough is homemade and it's piping hot every time. I don't even dip the stromboli in the marinara it's that good. The woman that works at the counter is so sweet and my food is always ready on time. I wish they would stay open later, but I understand why they don't. If you go here PLEASE get a stromboli. Not the best but I like it! I read the reviews and so hoped this would be a place to add to my "go to pizza places" nearby, but my high hopes were knocked down a notch. While the pizza wasn't the best I've had, the hospitality from the owner was unmatched. I just felt a super cozy vibe, motherly vibe if you will and she made my first time dining there even more inviting. My daughter likes just cheese pizza and I'm happy with just pepperoni on the pizza. Luckily they had a special on a one topping pizza this particular day. They don't rob your pockets here...you pay for quality and it's affordable. One special please! Half cheese half pepperoni! I was able to place the order and walk next door to Food Lion to pick up a few items. So yeah, the restaurant is located among other shops in a shopping center not too far from I664. Aside from Food Lion, there are at least two other eateries, GoodWill and more shops in the strip. Wal-Mart is nearby as well as a Chick-fil-a and other restaurants. All are less than five minutes away. Just to add, this area in Suffolk has been booming quite well over the past years. Housing is nearby along with Kroger, Ross, DSW and at least 10 other shops located a few lights down from this restaurant. I may have been in Food Lion for about 15 minutes...once I arrived back, our pizza was ready for pick up. The first glance and sniff... I was excited to dive in! But the pizza was piping hot to pick up and try it in the restaurant as we had hoped so we settled for taking it to go. After 10 minutes or so, we couldn't wait any longer...the pizza was super greasy and most of the cheese and toppings slipped off. Super disappointed, but the pizza was good. Not amazing but good enough to want another slice. My daughter and I decided to try this place again, because somehow we were not convinced that this is the best they offer. Next time we will allow time to sit and wait for it to cool and then try it. Perhaps let the grease settle and cool in a chill environment, not in the car like we did. This first impression wasn't up to my expectations, but I am willing to give them a second try to impress us. This place is too close to home to not be amazing. We dread going to Va Beach for amazing pizza, we want Suffolk to win and in due time we will be back. I'd recommend you'd give them a try just based on their hospitable demeanor. Today we ordered from Bella Napoli for the first time. We wanted pizza from a Maw and Pop place, kind of over the chain pizza places. Anyway, we could not find a website so we called and she told me that the menu was located on Bella Napoli Pizza Suffolk Facebook page. We placed our order, Grande Half Cheese Half Pepperoni, small Combo pizza, Garlic Cheese Bread, Fried Mushroom and a Turkey Sandwich. EVERYTHING was very tasty. The customer service was surprisingly good. I say that because the area here customer service sucks. But at Bella Napoli we were made to feel like we were family. The establishment it's self is super cute and clean. It had a very Italian feel to it. I will DEFINITELY be ordering from here again. I must add that they do not deliver. I have been going here for years. This is a true Mom and Pop and yes they come from Naples. I worked nearby and was a frequent customer for lunch. I have since retired, but was in the area today. They have a lunch sub special daily and I had a meatball sub. It was delicious. While I was there I observed two groups enjoying pizza. It looked as good as I remembered. I never had a bad meal so if you are tired of the chains, give them a try. read more
