Yes, the pizzas are huge. Even one slice is big. One time, I went there and wanted a big pizza for my birthday. They were open and as soon as I walked in, they were like: "We're closed! Our air conditioner's broken." So I decided to go to Pizza Hut, they closed early. Then, I went to a buffet to get some pizza, they were out. I don't know what the big deal was, but I haven't forgotten the "No Pizza Day" of 2025. Anyway, I have gotten two of the large pepperoni pizzas before and they're really good. 16 slices are a lot and lasted me almost a week. They are really difficult to wrap and keep, but worth it if you like the taste. They have plenty of good drink options, including brands and flavors not all places have. Even found canned gatorade, which I didn't know even existed! They have a backroom with pinball machines that's pretty neat. One of them plays music, others make generic gaming noises, and another one of the machines farts a lot. It doesn't take too long for the pizzas to be made in my experience. Make sure you have plenty of space in your vehicle to transport it, and at home or wherever you're bringing it. Make some room in your fridge for leftovers! I think it's cool for the novelty value on occasion, but it is a bit pricey. read more

Last week we had pizza at Benny's at Virginia Beach. It was really good! We just had pizza at the Battlefield Benny's. It was the worst pizza we have ever had!! We sent back one piece because it was burnt. Neither of us finished our slice because the cheese tasted sour. After the first bite I went back to the counter and said something was wrong. Hubby picked up a large pizza from here for dinner. When he came through the front door I couldn't believe how large this pizza was. There were 16 slices! One half was plain cheese and the other half was pepperoni and mushroom. It smelled great. It was very tasty. I would have liked the bottom crust to have been cooked more well done.. the bottom was so soggy it was a challenge to eat it. It was still yummy. Bennys has always been a favorite of the family we love the one in Norfolk so we stoped for this one in great bridge. It was ok hopefully after some time they will have a hang of things. With it still being new to the area so many customers coming inside were confused about the menu and the drinks. The workers didn't really help explain it to them. You can order pizza by the slice they are huge! We struggled with these cheese tastes however it didn't taste right. But overall Cooked at a great temperature. Great customer service when ordering over the phone! We had miscommunication on my end between myself and another. I thought we were in the same page when it came to where we were ordering for and how many pizzas were needed. We could have gone with 2! And Bennys did try to clarify and make sure I knew the size. Which I did, but the other party did not, my error. Pizza was delicious. Pretty accurate time for when it would be done. And shocked the boys made it home in one vehicle with the size of those boxes. Simple and tasty NY style pizza. We came and ate at the restaurant. The dough is crunchy throughout and thin and not soggy at all. One slide is like 3 normal slides combined and fill you up. This is the best NY style pizza I have tried in HR. Highly recommended trying them out. read more
