First time for Zaxby's, anywhere. Their commercials are such fun! The counter girl was a delight. So friendly, helpful. I couldn't find anything I wanted, not realizing they are a wing/ finger joint. She had me order the JTL (? Just tomato and lettuce?) on a crispy breast w/ a little mayo on a grilled bun, off menu. Hubby ordered the Cajun Club, which it wasn't. He wanted the blackened chicken. It was not. Just grilled chicken. And nothing to shout about either, he said. I ate all of mine, it was fine. We both left wimpy fries. So, we have no reason to visit Zaxby's in the near future. But thanks for your kindness.

I've eaten at Zaxby's a few times in my home state (Texas) and this is by far the best experience ever. The food came to us quick and it was fresh and delicious and cooked to perfection. Even better than the food was the service. Everyone was so friendly and kind. The only complaint I have is there was too much seasoned salt on the fries, but they were still delicious!

Absolutely delicious! Always fresh and hot. The fries are seasoned well. Staff was friendly. Clean dining room and restroom.

Excellent food. They have tenders, sandwiches, salads and wings. I love it that they have Texas toast also. Great selections on the menu with reasonable prices. They have sweet tea which is always a plus. The restaurant is very clean, bright and well designed. All of the clerks at the counter were smiling and friendly which I always appreciate. The general manager keeps a very clean establishment. When ever I visit Springfield I'm stopping here. They are doing everything right.

overall, the vibe is okay. it's not as good as a cane's, not as bad as a mcdonald's. the toast was somehow both dry and soggy and the chicken looked like catfish. a little disappointing but not awful.

Have been several times now. They offer fresh chicken fingers and wings. I like there club which is their chicken fingers on Texas toast with bacon, tomato and lettuce. Fries are crinkle cut and come with seasoning on them. The Zax-sauce isn't bad but not in my top 10. Really place is A-ok. The Good Another variety of chicken in town. Fresh. Friendly staff. The Bad Can be real busy at lunch. The Ugly Nada A-ok here.

Horrible. Food has no flavor and place was dirty. The fries was so cheap and poor quality. The trash was falling out of can into floor.

We spent about $40 for two people and had table service, which was a nice touch. Our waitress was very friendly and had a great attitude, though it seemed like she might have been having an off night as there were a few small mistakes along the way. The food was good across the board -- nothing bad at all, just not especially memorable. The space itself is a plus: larger dining room, comfortable seating, and a nice place to sit and enjoy a meal. If you're comparing Mediterranean options in Springfield, I'd probably give the edge on food to Greek Belly, but Crave offers a more spacious and relaxed dine-in atmosphere. Overall, a good, reliable option -- especially if you value the setting as much as the food.

I stick with the basic gyro and my daughter got the Philly cheese steak gyro and the beef shrawma dinner plates. We also order some appetizer and dessert. Food tastes very fresh and good. A must try spot.

Eating in a wing back chair, at some odd table, isn't well suited for dining. But, sure looks neat. The food is ok to good: Burger : The burger was really good. Has some jam sauce on it which really works. Beef has a good flavor. The bacon was very good. . Potato soup: The soup is good....but needed far greater seasoning to have it be great. Pork Wings: Again, needed more seasoning to elevate the pork. And the dipping sauces were a bit unusual. And the Asian style sauce - by gosh did it have a ton of saffron. Patagonia side item: These potato chunks weren't much. Potatoes were nothing special, under seasoned and the dipping sauce was unusual. And so much saffron, it was way overpowering. . Is it worth going to - absolutely and the place is neat. But I give an extra 1/2 to 1 star more, just because of the neatness of the place.

I really wanted to like The Table…read more The space itself is absolutely beautiful -- one of the best dining rooms in Springfield -- and it feels like the kind of place that should deliver a more elevated, full-service experience. That's part of what made the counter-service model feel a little out of sync with the atmosphere. We first tried visiting as a group of about 12 on a Saturday around 7 PM. I had called ahead and was told they don't take reservations, so we planned accordingly. When we arrived, we were told there wasn't any way to accommodate our group together -- not even the option to wait for space to open up -- so we ended up going elsewhere. I did come back later with a smaller group for lunch. The experience was better logistically, but still a bit disjointed. The menu felt somewhat scattered, and while we were able to find seating at a communal table, the overall flow felt a bit chaotic. After ordering at the counter, the wait for food was quite long -- around 45 minutes or more -- which gave us plenty of time to observe how things were running. Toward the end, I noticed tables being marked as unavailable/reserved, which made me wonder why a similar approach couldn't have worked for larger groups earlier. When the food arrived, it was good -- nothing wrong with it -- but not especially memorable, especially considering the wait and price point. There's a lot to like here, especially the space and overall concept, but the execution didn't quite match the expectations for me. I do think with some adjustments to service flow and consistency, this could be a much stronger experience.

Enter The Grotto west coast food. Since I lived on the west coast for 40 years I thought it was appropriate that I come to judge the West coast authenticity. This place is awesome. My friend had a Baja bowl that looked and smelled divine and I had the steak Gorgonzola salad, the meat portion was huge and the candied pecans were delicious. I might even bring my super judgmental west coast rude family here since I think even they would be pleased at how delicious the food was. We sat in a comfy booth and loved every bite of our meal, the balsamic vinaigrette was the perfect complement to the savory steak and sweet pecans. I can't wait to go back to the grotto
