Hubby said its a Wild West Burger but it's not worth the money he paid.

We've been driving by since it opened and finally decided to go in and give it a try well I'm sorry we did. We walked in no one said anything I'm the one who spoke first, and that started things off wrong next we looked at the menu board and saw everything was separate no meals at all I wasn't in the mood to piece my meal together so that didn't make me happy either. My husband has me sit down and he finishes our order because he knows I'm getting frustrated with the whole situation, fast forward to him sitting down with me I look at our receipt, and almost 40.00$ later for two people insane if you ask me I'm still pissed about it. While we were sitting there looking around the room trying to see what changes they made when they took over the building from Hardies well all we could see were 3 or 4 stencils on the walls pretty sad when that's the only change you make. Then to top of our experience while we were there 3 of the managers called 1 of the employees out for a "chat" about being on her phone instead of helping on shift the night before, okay don't get me wrong if she needs to be spoken to speak to her but do you need to do it in a packed dining room and does it take 3 managers, not 1/1 anymore in a private office? DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME!! OVERPRICED, OVERRATED, NOT WORTH THE HYPE!!

I really like Beef-A-Roo. I know it's a strange name, but the food is great. My wife and I both love the olive burger. There are so many choices. Salads, burgers, roast beef and more. One of my favorites is the mahi mahi sandwich on wheat bread. Sweet potato fries are another favorite and the cheese fries can't be beat. They also have fried cheese curds from Wisconsin. So many items you are bound to like many of them.

The very expansive menu board. Some specials are not even listed!

I really hate to be the first person to review and have it be a negative. They appear to be new and there are always struggles when starting out but they have several problems which need to be addressed to be successful. First - the smell. It is a former Hardee's building so who knows how old it is but the smell emanating from the restrooms, which are right next to the order counter, is incredibly off putting. If i hadn't been getting my order to go, I'd have walked out. Next - the fries. Absolutely awful. Very dry and crunchy but not burnt or overcooked. My best guess, from years in the industry, is that their fries have come in frozen, were thawed (accidentally?) and then refrozen. This causes water crystals to form inside the fries and gives them the consistency of cheese curls. Lastly the signature burger. A good size for the price but absolutely over-slathered in various condiments. One other comment is the size of their menu offering. Personally, I don't see how they could be known for anything special with so many things to cook. These run the gamut from burgers, to roast beef, chicken, turkey, vegetarian, pork, etc. Not to mention numerous salads, which was the one bright spot in our purchase. Take a look at the pictures of the menu board and you'll see what I mean. Also, they might want to consider offering a "value" package where an entree is paired with a side and a drink. Everything is a' la' carte.

    Churd! Yum!

The quality of the sandwiches, burgers, fries and onion rings were very good. Fast food service with a higher quality product.

Made it back to the place and another good visit…read more - see that bacon jam sauce on the burger?....that is darn good. I'm not one to mess with my traditional burger taste. But that bacon jams sauce really works! - The corn dip we had for an appetizer - that dish was really good. Did I say really? Yeah, really good. - Chicken sandwich - If I was you...I'd skip that one. Nothing special. Dry. Just not a good menu item. To the owners if they read this: The place is too nice to have counter service to order. Both times I've been here, it is always backed up and takes a good while to order. We were the 3rd group back last night. Parties of 2, each group was. And it takes too long. To end on a positive note: the place is neat and always great to have people revitalize an old building in our town.

Decided to check out this new, highly talked-about spot in Springfield, and it absolutely lived up…read moreto the hype. From the moment we walked in, the staff was warm, welcoming, and genuinely passionate about what they do. They took the time to share the story behind the owners' vision, which made the experience feel much more personal. Their menu recommendations were thoughtful, highlighting both customer favorites and their own go-to picks, which is always something I appreciate. Everything we ordered was excellent. The coffee had exceptional depth of flavor without being overpowering, and the quiche was perfectly prepared with a delicate, buttery texture that paired beautifully with the cranberry-orange muffin. It's clear that attention to quality and consistency is a priority here. Beyond the food, the atmosphere deserves recognition. The space is beautifully designed, with tasteful décor that feels inviting without trying too hard. Whether you're meeting friends for lunch, enjoying a coffee date, catching up over brunch, treating yourself to a quiet afternoon, or looking for a comfortable place to study or work, this café offers the kind of environment that suits just about any occasion. We'll definitely be back--next time with friends to explore more of the lunch menu. Springfield is fortunate to have such a thoughtful and well-executed addition to its local dining scene.

My second trip to Springfield, Mo for work. This little area (literally this 1/4 mile of street)…read morehas some amazing restaurants! Unknowingly, I started "scrolling" to find a place to eat and was sucked in by pics of the food and ambiance! So I mapped directions to Cafe Cusco only to find it was next to another great restaurant I had been to during my last trip. Walked in and the hostess, with a welcoming greeting and smile directed my single person party to a four top. Turns out she ended up also being my server and bartender!!! Lilly was her name and she was on top of it all. I believe there was at least one other server. I shied away from apps as I was not sure about the serving sizes as I was not famished... I started with a Pisco Sour that Lilly recommended and she also recommended the Lomo Saltado for an entree. I chose to also have the Ginger Caipirinha. For dessert I had the Quinoa Pudding and a cup of coffee. Beverages were well balanced with lime tartness, great cinnamon presence and over all flavor was refreshing! The Lomo Saltado was very flavorful- def get your salt intake for the day, but it works so well! There was a house hot sauce at each table. I taste tested the hot sauce and decided to liberally add to the dish! A symphony of flavors! The slices of tomato in that Saltado sauce was ... mmmmmmmmm GOOD!! Naturally the tenderloin was packed with Saltado flavor too! I ordered up the Ginger Caipirinha (which did not disappoint either!). Both beverages stand on their own merits and I cannot choose which was better... maybe the sour?? So... then there was dessert... I cannot recall the last time I ordered dessert... quinoa pudding???? I mean... I like quinoa... but do I ever go out of my way to eat it?? No... but add some sweet coconut cream, cinnamon and... wait for it... Black cherry COMPOTE?!?????!!!! Damn! Am I glad I got that dessert! You MUST save room for this! Such a great amalgamation of flavor and textures! Cheers Cafe Cusco!! You've got a great gem here for great prices to boot! Lilly was very busy, what may have lacked in some attentiveness (due to how busy it was) she made up for in her awesome personality, pleasant disposition and great suggestions! Chillin' in haute Springfield?? Check this place out! Cheers!

They have an amazing selection of gluten free and vegan options as well! The salsa was on the sweet side but was still delicious and the fried guacamole was fantastic with a very well rounded flavor/texture combo. The ambiance was phenomenal. Our server was so kind and friendly, we'll definitely be back!
