I like this outfit
Angel H.

I come in and look every so often, but I hardly buy from here. You can rarely get help as I hardly any salesperson on the floor. They sell mostly clothes, but also shoes and bags. The women's section is on the second level. If you walk in the store you'll see escalators going up to the third level. That's where they have the men's and kid's sections. Their clothes are stylish, but I feel most people in Hawaii don't dress like that, unless they're going to some kind of event. I'm mostly a jeans and T-shirt kind of person.

Still trying to give Zara a try... Located right beside Nordstrom in Ala Moana Center this two level clothing store is quite huge the ground is all women and the men and children on the second level is quite impressive with a good selection of clothing that I've been meaning to check out on a regular basis and as much as majority are lovely there's always something that doesn't interest me...the long lines. There may be a few items I'm interested in and give them a try only to be discourage to have long lines...really long Ines with other staff I'm not sure if they're there do assist or just do this on purpose. The staff isn't the friendliest, greet, or just welcome you whatsoever and the great priced is somewhat there though when you need to make an effort versus vice versa there is something not right with the system here that doesn't make it a great shopping deal for me.

Huge sale day after Christmas

So glad that this European store made it to Honolulu! The store is nice and big. Very spacious with the clothes lined up against the walls! I like that the c!others are spread out and not all squished together in racks! They have stylish and reasonably priced apparel for men and women! My daughters have bought many items including tops, skirts, sweaters, dresses and coats! We always try to go to the After Christmas sales! They're fantastic because they're marked down so low!! The lines can be long but worth the wait! If you don't have time to try the clothes on, you can always return it! Nice return policy with receipt! They have handbags and shoes too! Be sure to check it out! The staff are really nice and friendly too!

I got terrible experience here with Tiana at the register. She was so rude to customers with mean face . It seems like she is not the right person at that position . A lot of tourists came from all over the world but she gives them bad vibes about Hawaii. I also came here with my family members enjoy my vacation. But she ruined my day because of her bad attitude. I had a lot of experience with Hawaiian people was so kind and nice but she wasn't . I feel like someone needs to take the place of her not to make upset visitors anymore.

The rude woman working the fitting room at Zara

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. I believe a young man named Edmar is the store manager at this location. Strict store policy's I've never heard of , very long lines and very rude staff . 1. My mom walked into the fitting room with me to help me put my clothes down in the fitting room. she was back there for less than a min before a woman working the fitting room yelled very aggressively at my 68 year old mother " hey you you can't just be back here like there go wait outside" (Mind you in hawaii we address the elderly by saying auntie or uncle) . My mom calmly responds back you can say it in a nicer way next time and instead of apologizing to my mom the woman attempts to argue with my mom to the point where my mom had to walk away from this woman to stop the argument. 2. Once I was done trying on the clothes I hung them all back onto the hangers and take it out to put in on the clothing rack . I look to the same woman working the fitting room and said thank you. I was shocked when she rudely yells at me "hey! You can't just do whatever you want back here you have to hand me the clothes" ( in my mind I was thinking you're lucky I even brought it back out to you) long story short she attempted to argue with me and didn't want to give me her name kept yelling "store policy " so I had to walk away from her as well to stop the argument. 3. She was a very rude and a bad representation of Zara and Zara SHOULD do a better job at training their employees on better customer service and on respect.

long lines

Always a long line at Zara, unfortunately. Wide selection at OK prices. They've got to staff the cash wrap more than the fitting rooms. Today, nobody was manning the two cash registers on the second level. Three cashiers were on the first level to man this line pictured here. Ridiculous

Score! $10 clearance corduroys for my Italian photo ops;) Yup I squeezed in Italy, as well as in the cords lol! Ti penso ogni giorno. Ti Amo

"You can run you can hide But you can't escape my love... Here's how it goes You and me Up and down But maybe this time We'll get it right Worth the fight 'Cause love isn't something you can shake... When it breaks all it takes is some trying" -Enrique I. Hola! I have to admit I didn't expect much walking into Zara, well besides the amazing air conditioning and high ceilings! Zara is considered a Fast Fashion company that originated in Galicia, Spain. Not exactly Haute Couture level, but hip shaking on the streets, nonetheless... I've now been to Zara a couple times - once I found an amazing pair of clearance corduroy jeans. It's form "suck it in" fitting, but any Zoolander fan would grab and squeeze arse-in! On my latest visit serendipity brought me back... basically I needed a crossover bag for my European vacation. So after an entire day of striking out... trust me, I looked everywhere with nada... no bueno! Only super tiny "Richard Simmons" Fanny Packs or man-PURSES that resembled... well PURSES ugh! /sigh Zara to the rescue! On a whim I enter... why not. I didn't expect positive results, BUT... tired of searching all day, I walked straight up to the first employee I encountered. "Keeyan" or "Keyan" was his name... I explained what I was looking for and without hesitation he left his cashier area and walked me to several areas of interest. On our third stop I came across exactly what I was looking for... a "Combined Belt Bag" that has a Minimal Classic-Look with a tinge of Burberry. And best part it was only $35.90 which was well under my budget price. Oh, snap! So, after trying it on and Vogue-ing, Catwalking, and Moonwalking across the runway... I decided to purchase it! The young man that dropped everything and helped me also rang me up! I thanked him, he blushed, sorry not exactly sure on name, either "Keeyan" or "Keyan". I explained how his 5-minutes of help, made me purchase that bag I was looking for all day long! Gracias Zara for helping me in the WIN column, and please let this young gentleman know how pleased I am w/ his awesomeness! See you in Europe! Ahhh ANNA KOURNIKOVA! Te Amo;)

Are the dressing rooms open yet?

Can you please update your hours. Your yelp says you close at 9 but it's 8:23 and you're closed. Thank you in advance!?

Do the sell fragrance at this location?

During a recent visit about 2-weeks ago, I did see a section in front of their registers that displayed fragrances. I don't believe they have an "tester" units but their associates may be able to provide a sample.

Is Zara only open one day a week now per Covid 19?

Sorry that I'm only seeing your open question now but Zara is Open everyday!

The Merrie Monarch vibes must have kicked in and I had to finally pop that cherry. I initially went with my hula family and used that time to soak everything in. The next day I went back alone to purchase a few items I couldn't stop thinking about. Both Nāpali and Hōkūpa'a hyped me up during my visit and all items I tried on was sold on the spot. Countless hugs and mahalo were exchanged during my encounter with them. Again, I had to go in a third time just to mahalo your (business) ʻohana during my trip to Hilo! Just about a week later I figured I would "window shop" again during my lunch break at South Shore Market and I was able to catch up with Hōkūpa'a. Then after some time of being educated about the items at the store I was sold again - resulting in me purchasing even more items than I did in Hilo! More hugs and mahalo were shared that day. I can't thank Nāpali a me Hōkūpa'a and the rest of the Salvage Public ʻohana enough for your continued legendary service every time I visit.

Service here is very friendly and helpful though I didn't find anything today know that I will be back to support this amazing local small biz as they have so many great clothing to express ourselves. The brand has a long history in street culture, and this location reflects that identity with a clean and minimalist retail space focused entirely on the clothing. The store layout is simple and well organized, which makes it easy to browse through the collections. Racks feature a mix of graphic tees, hoodies, hats, and other staple pieces that the brand is known for. The designs maintain the classic Stüssy style that blends surf, skate, and street culture influences. One thing that makes this location interesting is the connection between the brand and Hawaii's surf culture. Stüssy originally emerged from surf roots in California, and seeing the brand represented in a place like Waikiki feels very fitting. The shop tends to attract both visitors and locals who are interested in streetwear and limited releases. The environment inside is relaxed and focused more on the clothing itself rather than flashy retail design. What stood out to me most was how the store maintains the authenticity of the Stüssy brand while fitting naturally into the Waikiki shopping scene. However, I had seen a local vlogger's YouTube video where he showcased the Hawaiian-exclusive clothing they sell here. Jamie W and I decided to drop by when we were at Ala Moana. Although not at the scale of the Tokyo Ginza flagship, it's one of the global chain's larger stores with an expansive multi-floor space. They offer the Brands Hawaiian Loco line, which is quite a distinct array of T-shirts spotlighting locally renowned businesses like Leonard's Bakery, Hawaiian Airlines, and Zippy's. I even bought one featuring a bowl of Zippy's saimin called Zipmin (Photo 4). I also really liked their line of aloha shirts because designs came from top quality Japanese block prints. I fell in love with one shirt based on Hokusai's "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa". I had never seen one like that before. They even offer opportunities to customize T-shirts and tote bags using exclusive designs from local artists. There's enough here to justify a shopping expedition.
