Did a little pre and post lunch shopping. Friends picked up a coin/card holder and a cross body bag of course in a seasonal color. Service excellent. Seiya is our go to. Anything you see online and they don't have it, he'll do his best. Professional and courteous. He's assisted in several purchases so I would recommend him. It's difficult when dealing with a different person each time so establishing a relationship with a SA is a good idea.

Got my wallet from Gucci @ ala Moana. So happy with my purchase. Thank you Lauren for your wonderful & kind service.

This Gucci location always provides superb service. I've been in a few times and my SA was very attentive and showed me things I was interested in. If you didn't know Gucci was the top luxury brand in 2021. They fall under the Kering brand and is an Italian fashion house. They recently did a collab with fashion house Balenciaga, which is also owned by Kering. I wanted to see some of their bags and it was stunning. The packaging is dual sided and sure to be a collectors item. It has the Gucci packaging on one side and the Balenciaga packaging on the other side.

Came here to just browse but I found a really cute chained wallet and really wanted it. It was predicted reasonably $1440 which isn't bad for a crossbody bag wallet. It came with a lot of cards lots and different pouches even one with a zipper. ESP worth since Hawaii tax is about 4%!! I checked online and it was priced at 1600 but could be a little different than the one I bought, but pretty much looks exactly the same. Tax in LA is 10% so definitely love buying designer in Hawaii. The only Dow said is a lot of stores didn't have a lot of inventory.

I'm a Gucci girl!! My first luxury bag I ever got. My mom got me a Gucci, when I was a little girl. So I have always stuck to Gucci l. Great customer service. Fast and efficient. Salesperson, showed me all the bags I wanted. If they don't have what you want, the store can order for you. Love the quality of their products. Just sorry, I can't buy the whole store. Definitely coming back for more. My extensive obsession.

Gucci has always been one of my favorite high end brands. And I was so excited to hear that they were renovating their original location to be more open & brighter. Their re-grand opening was yesterday Feb 4th. The newly renovated is definitely bigger & brighter. It's very welcoming and everything is neatly displayed. We walked in and Calvin was the SA assisting us as we walked around and admired the store. If heart eye emojis were visible in reality, that's what my eyes looked like. From the ceiling details to the floor. Everything was beautiful! I wasn't able to get much photos because I was so busy soaking all the beauty in! If you remember the old look, you will definitely see a H U G E change is the layout and colors throughout the store. One of the things I love about Gucci is that they are ALWAYS so welcoming and never judgmental of how you dress or look! We literally walked in with our crocs and Calvin happily greeted us and welcomed us in.

I absolutely love physically shopping and we went to the temporary Gucci shop at the Alamoana Center. The staff was very friendly and Jay Jay our SA was amazing! He made my Gucci shopping experience in Hawaii amazing! Although it's not a large store they had stock of some of my favorite pieces like the new Dionysus supreme canvas bag with a longer chain (finally) and the double GG jean collection which I have been eyeing this year. Jay Jay was accommodating, friendly, kind, recommended items and honest what more can you ask from an SA! I went to the larger Gucci store on the main Waikiki strip but the SA wasn't as helpful and proactive as Jay Jay. I'll be back soon !

I would say out of all the expensive designer shops, Gucci is the most relaxed. The bags are all out on display, so you get to freely try on bags and see how it looks on your body. The sales associates don't annoyingly follow you around the shop, but when you do need help they are there. I've had great service by Don. Originally the item I wanted was out of stock, so he suggested other items that were similar. In the end, I did buy something that he suggested, but in a different color. If you're looking to buy Gucci items, Hawaii is the best place (aside from Europe, of course haha) because items are 20% off compared to the mainland and the tax is very low!

I received a gift for my 40th birthday and it wasn't the right size. This was an online purchase from Gucci.com. We read the return policy and it clearly states that we're able to return this item in person at the store regardless if its sold in store or not. We drove down to the store and the representative Keiko said that because they don't sell the item in the store they are not able to refund us right away. They would have to send it out. This is the only company that I know of that does not accept returns in store for an online purchase regardless if they sell it or not... During these times a company like this should appreciate every customer and every sale. People do not have to buy or spend money on a Gucci item. I will definitely not patronize Gucci again.

The Merrie Monarch vibes must have kicked in and I had to finally pop that cherry. I initially went with my hula family and used that time to soak everything in. The next day I went back alone to purchase a few items I couldn't stop thinking about. Both Nāpali and Hōkūpa'a hyped me up during my visit and all items I tried on was sold on the spot. Countless hugs and mahalo were exchanged during my encounter with them. Again, I had to go in a third time just to mahalo your (business) ʻohana during my trip to Hilo! Just about a week later I figured I would "window shop" again during my lunch break at South Shore Market and I was able to catch up with Hōkūpa'a. Then after some time of being educated about the items at the store I was sold again - resulting in me purchasing even more items than I did in Hilo! More hugs and mahalo were shared that day. I can't thank Nāpali a me Hōkūpa'a and the rest of the Salvage Public ʻohana enough for your continued legendary service every time I visit.

The brand has a long history in street culture, and this location reflects that identity with a clean and minimalist retail space focused entirely on the clothing. The store layout is simple and well organized, which makes it easy to browse through the collections. Racks feature a mix of graphic tees, hoodies, hats, and other staple pieces that the brand is known for. The designs maintain the classic Stüssy style that blends surf, skate, and street culture influences. One thing that makes this location interesting is the connection between the brand and Hawaii's surf culture. Stüssy originally emerged from surf roots in California, and seeing the brand represented in a place like Waikiki feels very fitting. The shop tends to attract both visitors and locals who are interested in streetwear and limited releases. The environment inside is relaxed and focused more on the clothing itself rather than flashy retail design. What stood out to me most was how the store maintains the authenticity of the Stüssy brand while fitting naturally into the Waikiki shopping scene. That was why it surprised me that I would seek out this familiar store at the mammoth Ala Moana Center. Although not at the scale of the Tokyo Ginza flagship, it's one of the global chain's larger stores with an expansive multi-floor space. They offer the Brands Hawaiian Loco line, which is quite a distinct array of T-shirts spotlighting locally renowned businesses like Leonard's Bakery, Hawaiian Airlines, and Zippy's. I even bought one featuring a bowl of Zippy's saimin called Zipmin (Photo 4). I also really liked their line of aloha shirts because designs came from top quality Japanese block prints. I fell in love with one shirt based on Hokusai's "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa". I had never seen one like that before. They even offer opportunities to customize T-shirts and tote bags using exclusive designs from local artists. There's enough here to justify a shopping expedition.
