I was impressed with the store but more impressed with the service that Niki has provided. She was not pushy at all and was very attentive to my mom's requests. She was also very knowable about the products. We ended up not only buying the jacket ( which was perfect), but also a hang bag, passport wallet and a beautiful hat. Excellent customer service. My husband and I always feel welcomed when we visit and with no pressure to buy. The staff is very knowledgeable about each of their products and could answer any questions we had as we browsed around. The pricepoint is a bit more affordable than other luxury houses, but that doesn't mean the quality is any less. In fact, I use my Burberry briefcase/messenger crossbody bag that I bought a few years ago as a daily work bag and it has held up quite well over time. There's very little signs of wear and I don't baby it at all. The aesthetic of their handbags are classy, clean, and chic - very minimalist. Besides handbags, they are also known for their classic trenchcoat, which some might argue should be a staple in your wardrobe. My recommendation: Don't be afraid to spend a little more. It's worth it here. Think of your purchase as an investment. read more

I was gifted a wallet from Burberry in December of 2021. During the light use of the wallet over 10 months, I noticed that the quality of the wallet was deteriorating exponentially. I contacted Burberry's customer service on October 16th 2021 and was given a run around for roughly a month by a representative named "Robb". Robb eventually told me the following, "After reaching out to our online Quality Assessment Team, it was deemed to be in normal condition after a year of use for this typology of product and they consider the wallet as tear and wear condition. At this time Burberry will be unable to offer a replacement for the Card case." So, according to Burberry, with 10 months of use of their wallets your burberry wallet will peel at the seems and on their classic burberry insignia. Wife wanted a new bag, so off we go to Ala Moana, lol. We previously checked out the International Market Place branch but they didn't have the particular one she was looking for. Anyway, we wanted to grab dinner at Ala Moana so we figured we might as well check out the offerings (and other labels) available there. The front of their store had specific instructions to set up a time to enter (QR code), but Aki immediately and pleasantly greeted us at the front door. My wife browsed around but she still had her mission; that "specific" bag lol. Aki located one quickly and brought it out for my wife to drool and inspect. After falling in love with it, her bag was promptly wrapped up. My kids and I were graciously offered some water as my wife drooled at her new toy, lol. I'm not one of those people who wears name brand clothes on the upper half of the spectrum, but I somehow found myself in this Burberry store. It wasn't to buy anything. It was to get some credit back! I recently unearthed a store credit receipt that was from twelve and a half years ago lol. Yes, 12! The date read 01/08/06. The receipt was for a polo shirt I decided to return for $88.76. Now I wish I kept the polo since I pretty much wear polos 95% of the time. Anyway, I decided to see if I'm still able to use that credit. The staff at Burberry were very friendly and helpful. The manager and employees were very surprised to see this over decade old receipt like it was some rare artifact. Thankfully, there was a person who worked there at that time. The store manager had to make a scan of my receipt and contact the main office to see if I can get the credit. The problem was that my receipt was from a time where things weren't documented digitally, so was a possibility that my credit wouldn't be honored. I took this time to peruse around the very organized and spacious store to see if there was anything of interest. The same polo shirt cost $295. !! The price nearly quadrupled in 12 years?! To slightly alleviate the pain, Burberry offers 10% Kama'aina discount for all items. Even though, I didn't buy anything. The staff here was very friendly and helpful. Courtney was the one who helped me through the entire process, and she did a great job. She was very thorough and considerate. In the end, I did receive the credit back, in the form of a gift card. Now I suppose I need to do some shopping at Burberry! read more

Kellar was an absolute kindle of joy. And wanna know something cool? He speaks fluent Chinese too, you would never think so haha I came in just to look at what I found online, but after seeing how well crafted everything is and how cheap it is, I couldn't resist. For my first time here, I completely was under the impression that Burberry was expensive, I was in complete shock to see things in the $500+ range. And this store offers 10% off, I was astonished. Burberry is making a comeback with its new designer. Be aware, the prices will go up, but the designs are better. Kellar showed me basically every nook and cranny of the men's section, going back and forth to the back to retrieve items, I immensely appreciated his thoroughness. Although in my opinion, the inventory is sparse as opposed to online, and this location does not carry men's shoes :( they can order them for you tho. Should you have a manufacturing defect, there's a 1yr warranty on their products, and if you lose your receipt--there's no worry, it's in their system after you create a profile. However, it's not a huge issue, but my dust bag ripped when I tried to tighten the bag.. I can just sew it back tho. And my oh my, I've shopped at a lot of luxury stores and of all the bags I've untied, this was the most tight, intricate and difficult bags to untie! I don't prefer shopping at Ala Moana, but only because of Kellar, I'd love to come back here. read more

Whenever I stop in to browse or buy, everyone is always welcoming and friendly. I've always been a huge Burberry admirer, and have collected a couple of things from the brand over the years. Handbags, wallets, scarfs and cardholders to name a few... of course Hawaii weather will never call for a trench, but one day I'd love to own one. I definitely have no need or want to wear designer clothing but I'm sure if I could afford it, I would love to purchase a few some day. I'm not at that point in life lol. So I can't speak to any of the clothing articles... for all of the items I do have though, they have held up very well. Burberry items definitely have a great quality to them. I really appreciate the simple classic designs that come out. But... Yes, but. I honestly don't care for the recent TB collection. It's, different to say the least. But I've totally learned my lesson from a few seasons ago when the glitter leather was released. I'll never think twice about the limited releases! I still regret not picking up more items from that season. I believe sales only happen twice a year and I am sure to get a call or email around that time, which I'm very grateful for. Yet, it always means trouble. More $$ being spent if something piques my interest. This is a store I would highly recommend with caution! Burberry is my go-to brand when I prefer luxury goods at a relatively affordable price. At the Ala Moana branch, they have great sales and great employees. A few months ago, I visited the store during one of their seasonal sales. To my disappointment, I couldn't find the specific tote that I intended to buy (they had a different color in stock) - however, one of the SAs offered to look it up for me at a different branch and YAY, it was available in the mainland! So about a week later it arrives... but it's the wrong bag (and my last name is spelled hideously wrong on the shipping label...). I later go back to the Ala Moana branch to fix it, and the SA is quick to rectify the situation, even offering free shipping for the correct bag to be mailed to me. In the end, all is well - I get the bag I want, and at a great price! read more

The service was solid and attentive. I don't recall being offered anything to drink, but the thing to know here is that the goods are slightly cheaper than on the mainland. I picked up a brand new trench coat that was $100 cheaper than normal, which is unheard of for Burberry. Whoever is in charge of the new designs for the company should be strongly reprimanded. What was formerly a shop full of classy, well-made British clothing is now becoming a Gucci spinoff. They are destroying the brand that once clothed explorers. One thing I love about Burberry is when I put on my coat I turn into Britney and start talking with that "May-jor" Posh accent. I feel like I'm in London and it's time for tea. But seriously, I never get to sport my coats unless it's raining and then I get May-jorly pissed that my coat's getting wet. Cause dry cleaning is a rip. Upon walking in, the employees they greeted my husband and I and were attentive and helpful. They also offered my husband and I champagne or water. The employee we worked with diligently assisted us for over an hour with finding a specific style and size of wallet for my husband. When they didn't have what we were looking for in stock, she looked the item up online on an iPad and ordered it for us. She informed us it would arrive in only three business days. Furthermore, I was interested in the ladies' perfume. One employee took the time to explain the different notes. She really knew her stuff and was very patient with me. This particular location features a good selection with great service. The Ala Moana store isn't large by any standards, however it is well laid out and features the staples of the collection that aim to please. If they don't have what you are looking for, take a look at their catalog and the store staff can order it for you. The staff are always very knowledgeable about their products and the selection. They are extremely pleasant to work with and buy products from! I get that Burberry isn't for some people and there are brands out their I avoid, but I am definitely a fan of not only their product, but this location in particular! read more

I wait to buy Burberry items until I go to Hawaii. The staff here serves as an example of how every luxury brand should treat its patrons. I'm constantly impressed. I have worked primarily with Shyla and Alyssa. They are professional, compassionate, and patient. One time, I spent half a day at the store trying to decide which bag I wanted, and I could tell how much the staff cared about helping me make the right decision. The worst customer service that I have experienced in a high end retail store. I received a Burberry watch as a gift and needed to have the band shortened. I called the store and spoke to Kumi who said it would be no problem and would take 5-10 minutes since she was familiar with taking out links on bands. I came to the store and she was with a customer but another person took my watch and said she would work on it after she was done with the customer. He said is should be done in 20 minutes and took my phone number to call me when the watch was done. After 30 minutes with no call, I went back to the store and Kumi apologized for the delay and said she would work on it right after she was done with her customer (again?). After waiting 10 minutes another sales person came to speak with me about how many links I needed to take out. I guess Kumi just went home and passed the job to another person. The second sales person probably was not familiar with adjusting watch bands as she took 15 minutes to take out one link. The band was still too long so the girl spoke to a third sales person to see if she should take out one more link. This guy seemed to know what he was doing and said one more link would be good and volunteered to do it for her. He was done in 5 minutes and gave me back my watch with gloved hands. My watch fits now but if Burberry is going to sell a $500.00 watch, I would think they could do better job than making a customer wait one hour to have his band shortened. read more

I purchased a $500 Burberry wallet from Nordstroms aboout a year ago. The wallet has been falling apart so I contacted both Nordstroms and Burberry. Burberry at Ala Moana said I would need to pay $20 to have the wallet sent out for evaluation. Whats extremely frustrating about this is that my previous wallet was purchased at Ross for $50 and it lasted 10 years, yet a $500 designer wallet couldn't last one year. I understand some products are not perfect, but with Burberry products and customer service, you're better off going to a company that values their customers, not asking $20 for shipping read more

I recently came in here for my purse, Eunice was the sale representative that I spoke to over the phone. I had an item on hold with Eunice and told her I will be coming in on the same day to pick it up, when I arrived at the store, I told one of the guy what I had on hold and Eunice greeted me and remembered my name!!!! She was very friendly and informative, while I was looking around the store, she kept my boyfriend entertained by showing him some of the "cool" stuff they had for men (car key holder). I came by today right back from a beach party, so my attire wasn't what they expect; Shorts,T-shirt and sneakers. it's hawaii so I thought they wouldn't mind. I walked and was greeted like usual. walked around for a good minute and finally a sales rep came by. it doesn't usually take this long from the other Burberry stores me and my family shops around the mainland and Canada. of course she ask my price range and inlaid 8-15, since it's my wife's birthday the next day. this lady judged me right away because of my attire, we don't have anything here your range, and I said really? I told her right away 800 to 1500. she looked at me again and I guess me wearing shorts and a shirt doesn't seem I can afford anything. not a good way toasters let's just say that. I did find here a piece, bought it and left. I hope wife loves it, but I don't expect recommending this place at all, especially my family. read more

Back in early Nov. my boyfriend & I went into Burberry for the first time ever for both of us. The associate Lori was very helpful at giving us information about that brand and its roots. As we looked around I fell in love with the Haymarket Check style and so did my boyfriend. On Black Friday we went again and I feel bad for I didn't catch them name of the associate who helped us out that night but, she was also very helpful from when we first stepped in all the way to our purchase and when we left. Then on Nov 30th my friend and I went in and the associate Christie helped us out that night. We are both very simple and know what we like and Christie was very helpful showing us a few things. Last night on Dec 04th; my birthday, my boyfriend and I went into Burberry not thinking we were going to get anything but, Lori was there again and helped us. Like the very first time we went in there she was very helpful to us. From the start to purchasing a matching wallet for my bag. The people there are wonderful!
