    SCORED!!!
    Cecille L.

My daughter and i waited 3 hours to get into the Stussy store. the day before Halloween. Who knew this little brand got so famous! I remember back in the day, I mean way back, it was just a little store front in the OC. lol The wait wasn't so bad, but it could be better if the people also waiting in line were a little more friendly. I mean we were ALL there for the same thing! Why not make conversation and have fun? Kinda tells me that the brand doesn't have friendly people following...at least not here in Waikiki. The store itself was big, nice and clean. The people working there were super friendly, attentive and fun. We scored a tshirt, 2 hoodies and stickers. We walked around the Royal Hawaiian shopping center the next night (Halloween) to people watch. The Stussy store had no line and they had some 'Honolulu' hoodies, no T-shirts. I would have been fine with that had I known, so I didn't have to wait in that long a** line. lol

Ok I know this place is pretty controversial with the lines and the wait. I've lined up for this place on more than one occasion too and struck out. I've heard some people line up very early too (6AM!?). It might not be worth it, especially if you're on vacation in Oahu. Not to mention things adding up if you're paying for parking. Now the store itself is pretty nice if/when you get in. If you're a big Stussy fan, they have a good selection of non chapter store items. Not sure how it happened, but me and my wife lined up right out front of the store at around 6PM on a Sunday, got in and had a selection of hoodies/sweatshirts in all sizes. (no t-shirts unfortunately). Grabbed a grey pull over hoodie and a navy zip hoodie in a Large. Staff was super nice even with everyone asking them the same questions about the chapter stuff. Your mileage may vary but it kind of depends how much time you dedicate and how lucky you can get.

So the hunt for the exclusive Stussy Honolulu merch can be quite the task. Get to this location at the Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center early. Lines form about 2 hours before they open and sometimes it won't be even guaranteed they have the merch you want in your size. The store is bright and well organized. Staff are super helpful and friendly. The clothes are good quality. Comfy and stylish. Catering to a younger crowd. Great shirt designs. Clothes are pricey. 45 dollars for a shirt to start.

5 days in hawaii. There's a line always. Staff are nice. Specifically looking for a shirt. Out of stock or size. Nice to visit the area anyway.

After waiting an hour and a half before opening, we made it in! The staff was so kind and helpful. The staff on the floor were all amazing! The cashiers we're just doing their job. They weren't rude they just needed it put a smile on to their faces to make the whole experience great. Overall happy that we were able to get some HI gear for my teenage son.

A popular street wear store even amongst Japanese and Korean travelers. People want specifically the Stussy shirts or sweaters that feature the town on it so in this case Honolulu. Their shirts run out really early in the morning because that's what people want and they limit how many they sell during the day. I was visiting in December during the Honolulu marathon which there are many more travelers and visitors out there. When I first walked by before closing at 10pm there weren't any lines because all of their Honolulu shirts were gone. The workers told me people line up as early as 4am or by 6am. The store doesn't open up until 10am. There's a sign where you line up around the corner that wraps around the Royal Hawaiian mall so you won't be blocking paths. One morning I got there before 9am and I asked the people in front and they lined up at 4am or 6am. I went back around 930am and waited until 11am and never got to the front and gave up. My friends the next day went in a group and lined up a little after 7 and they were able to help get us the sweaters we wanted (limit of 4 items per person). I had another friend go the day of the Honolulu marathon when it was pouring and around 11am there were no lines and shirts available. Others have mentioned they were lucky before but I think it depends on when you're there on vacation. They sometimes drop new stuff on Tuesdays.

Not sure if they started printing more shirts, but we came late around 3 pm and they still had a full run of shirts in black, white, and navy.

Stopped by the store with the intent to purchase a Black Stussy Honolulu shirt unfortunately they're out of stock on sizes small, medium. They only had large and xl. I tried on the large as I really wanted one but it was too loose. They said the stock will come in March. Similarly they didn't have the zip up hoodie with Stussy Honolulu as well. The fitting room is a vibe tho! Overall store is clean.

    Line!

I will start off saying that I am not "into" stussy brand. I figured it was similar to going to HIC or T& C Boy was I wrong came here and did not expect to wait in line approximately 2 hours. The sizes and colors were running out as I got into the store. Was able to get son wanted. Staff is super nice and helpful

I lined up around 915 and got in the door around 1020. Wasn't bad but I would arrive NLT 0930!!
    Pew S.

I would def get there NLT 0930 (line was already long) but lucked out and still managed to get what I wanted. Homies were helpful, if you plan on going in and have people "waiting" for you it's a no go. Numbers are given to those only in the line. WHICH I agree on.

    Arrived at 8 AM

I get it. They have Hawaii-exclusive clothing that attracts a lot of people, especially the tourists, but that line is insane. If you are willing to wait 2 hours or more to get your hands on the goods, which are limited to 3 per person for those 'Honolulu' clothing, then go for it.   Not going to lie, I only did it so I could get some for friends. Thankfully, my hotel was literally a block or not even a block away, so that alone made it much easier for me to wait in line.   The first time I tried was on a Monday, and I left my hotel around 8:20 AM, and the store opens at 10 AM. There were already about 20 people or more waiting. Even after they opened at 10 AM, I had to wait another hour and a half for my turn to get in the store to purchase.   Unfortunately, I had to go back the next day because I did not know the limit per person. I went at 8 AM and got in the store at 10:15 AM, which wasn't too bad, but that 2-hour wait cannot be ignored.   While these shirts, pullovers, and zipups look cool to have, I am not sure if I am going to wait in line for them ever again. I did it for my friends, and it was enough of an experience for me.

    Stock Logo Hat

The Stüssy Recap: One Win, One "Small" L The Vibe: High Energy / Low Stock Going into Stüssy, I had a vision: the white dice hoodie in my hand and a new hat on my head. I walked out with 50% of the dream, which in the streetwear world, is actually a decent batting average. The Pickup: Stock Logo Hat I'm officially obsessed with this hat. The fit is clean, and it's that perfect low-profile look that doesn't make your head look like a giant mushroom. It's one of those pieces you know you're going to wear until the brim starts fraying--and even then, it'll probably look better. The Heartbreak: White Dice Hoodie I found it. I saw the graphic. It looked even better in person. But then came the dreaded words: "We're out of Smalls." It's the classic Stüssy curse. If you aren't an XL or a XXL, you're basically fighting for your life to find stock. Seeing the empty hanger where the Small should have been was a total mood-killer. The white dice print is such a clean, classic look, but apparently, everyone else had the same idea today. The Silver Lining: At least the hat is "one size fits all," so they couldn't run out of my size on that one! Pro Tip: The "Size Down" Strategy If you are hunting for a specific Stüssy drop and you're a true Small, you have to be there the second the doors open or the site refreshes. The Strategy: Since Stüssy items (especially hoodies) are cut with a "boxier" fit, they are a magnet for "size-downers." If you see a Small in stock anywhere--even if you're still debating the price--grab it immediately. You can always return it, but you can almost never find it again once that "Sold Out" badge hits the screen.

Woke up at 5am we were second in line . There is a line everyday for exclusive Honolulu viral merchandise. Store opens at 10. No t-shirts today only hoodies $130 each . Worth the wait if you like Stussy but 5 hours in line is brutal. Good luck !

The Merrie Monarch vibes must have kicked in and I had to finally pop that cherry. I initially went with my hula family and used that time to soak everything in. The next day I went back alone to purchase a few items I couldn't stop thinking about. Both Nāpali and Hōkūpa'a hyped me up during my visit and all items I tried on was sold on the spot. Countless hugs and mahalo were exchanged during my encounter with them. Again, I had to go in a third time just to mahalo your (business) ʻohana during my trip to Hilo! Just about a week later I figured I would "window shop" again during my lunch break at South Shore Market and I was able to catch up with Hōkūpa'a. Then after some time of being educated about the items at the store I was sold again - resulting in me purchasing even more items than I did in Hilo! More hugs and mahalo were shared that day. I can't thank Nāpali a me Hōkūpa'a and the rest of the Salvage Public ʻohana enough for your continued legendary service every time I visit.

Although not at the scale of the Tokyo Ginza flagship, it's one of the global chain's larger stores with an expansive multi-floor space. They offer the Brands Hawaiian Loco line, which is quite a distinct array of T-shirts spotlighting locally renowned businesses like Leonard's Bakery, Hawaiian Airlines, and Zippy's. I even bought one featuring a bowl of Zippy's saimin called Zipmin (Photo 4). I also really liked their line of aloha shirts because designs came from top quality Japanese block prints. I fell in love with one shirt based on Hokusai's "The Great Wave Off Kanagawa". I had never seen one like that before. They even offer opportunities to customize T-shirts and tote bags using exclusive designs from local artists. There's enough here to justify a shopping expedition.
