I had a great experience with Zapt. The 2 movers arrived exactly during the window they quoted, and they were very efficient. Unfortunately, I am forgetting their names. They took time perfectly loading everything at the front end so that once we got to the destination, unloading was super quick. The only small critique I have is for the office/sales team. I don't think they know how to appropriately estimate a move. Once the movers arrived, they sent an updated inventory list to the sales office and part way through my move, the sales team sent me a new estimate based on the updated inventory saying the move would take 2 hours more and cost quite a bit more. Luckily, that was totally irrelevant because the move basically came in exactly as the original quote stated. Not a huge issue because the movers were very efficient and came in at the original estimate. However, just a warning so that if it happens to you, don't panic. read more

Moved from Dallas to Houston. Exceptional service - 5 guys well coordinated Accomplished the loading in exactly the estimated time and did the same with the loading the following day. Took exceptional care with all items and put all items that were taken apart for the move, back together. read more

Excellent job! The company helped us facilitate a last minute move. They were the best price, they were on time, very helpful, efficient, and professional. They had a good size truck with a lift gate for our refrigerator too! We highly recommend Zapt movers! read more

All Perfect in my move. The team is highly competent and very friendly. All processes run smoothly and the communication is great. read more

Horrible, horrible, horrible!! I had everything 100% ready, I had made it VERY clear that I didn't need boxes, packing materials, moving pads, etc. It was painfully clear that they were trying to take advantage of a single mom and beat the clock. Just shameful!! read more

Zapt was really efficient with their communication, packing and overall moving efforts. The price quoted for us was very reasonable, and they finished in the time they initially estimated. My wife and I were very thrilled with Zapt, and we appreciate how much stress they took off our shoulders! read more

I had an incredibly disappointing experience with this moving company. Not only did they fail to confirm the arrival time, but they also managed to lose some of my most valuable belongings in the process. The lack of communication and organization was appalling, and I wouldn't recommend their services to anyone. The person who claimed to be the customer service manager, named Fabio, did not take any accountability and was of no help. My partner and I used Zapt movers to relocate from San Jose to San Diego. The initial process of setting up the move was easy but when it came to the actual move, things didn't go as well. After all our belongings were packaged, we did not get any confirmation about the arrival time of the truck to San Diego, instead, we were given a large window of next day delivery, 8am-5pm. The next day, my partner and I started our drive down to San Diego and was set to arrive around 2-3 in the afternoon. Zapt texted around 8am saying that their movers have arrived to our final destination. We did not get any notification that the truck was even on its way to San Diego. My partner and I had not had the chance to even pick up our keys for our new apartment nor were we even on site. Around 10am, we received an email stating the movers have completed their job, along with pictures of our belongings and the company requested for their payment. We called Zapt and requested that the furniture be moved according to the spaces they needed to be in. The movers agreed and took about an hour to rearrange the furniture. When the work was done, they sent a 2nd set of photos of our belongings. When my partner arrived at our apartment, it was completely empty. We had to move all our belongings to our apartment unit ourselves, including our heavy furniture. The Zapt movers did not verify the correct apartment unit and unloaded our belongings in the unit down the hall from our unit. This was the fault of both the moving company and the apartment staff. In the process of unpacking our belongings, we noticed that we were missing two plastic storage containers. We double checked the photos that were sent to us and sure enough, the containers were missing from the 2nd set of photos when they were initially in the 1st set of photos sent. Also, why were all of our boxes opened? We contacted Zapt movers and spoke to Fabio, and he did not want to help us nor let us speak with any other Zapt representative. He had no sympathy or any kind of customer service which is ironic because he claimed to be the manager of customer service. We called to ask to file a claim with the company which he completely ignored and stated he will contact the movers that worked on our case. We have not received any call backs or any responses to our emails. read more

Reliable movers, fair price, fast service. Zapt Movers' system to get a quote is easy to use and accurate for you to know an appropriate price. I added in the number of furniture pieces by each room and the amount of boxes. You are able to edit your estimate easily if you need to add or remove items even after you submit. You receive an estimated job time and the size of your crew. I was quoted for 3.5 hours and the movers were done with all my items just under 3 hours! They were fast and careful with each piece of furniture. The rates are hourly and there is also a double drive time fee (between your two destinations) and a fuel surcharge. I will use Zapt again for moving read more

I would highly recommend this company! They were so friendly on the phone when I was calling around for inquiries. They were never pressuring, and their quoted rates were very low (especially for the quality of service!) The guys were on time, very friendly, and made sure to protect our items really well. Would use them again! read more

Zapt movers made my move to a new apartment as easy as possible. Fantastic Service from first contact to delivery . Professional, friendly. Would definitely recommend read more

Amazing! Everything about our experience was perfect. The quote and scheduling was easy, competitive pricing and good communication up to the day of the move. On moving day, which is always stressful, we received a text and GPS tracking for the truck. They were prompt and did not start charging us until they had done a complete walk through and were ready to work. The team of 5 men worked very hard and was careful to pad and wrap all the furniture. They were efficient and got the entire 3,000 sq ft. 5 bedroom house completed in 8 hours (including 1 .5 hour drive). At the final location, they unloaded and built up the furniture before leaving. As a former military member who has moved across the country several times (over 6 moves in 12 years and including whole house packs) this was the best experience we have ever had! Highly recommended and will hopefully not ever need them again but you do! read more

I'm going to leave you another bad review because I cannot comment on your feedback on the other post. LET ME VERY CLEAR HERE! I very much question the integrity of your movers and your company in general! 1. There were items on my inventory that I REMOVED bc I asked them to load other items. Did they tell you that? 2. Did your movers tell you that it took them 10 minutes to park correctly because the first time they backed up they took down a power line. Did they tell you that? 3. I NEVER treated them disrespectfully, I simple did not pay them on the spot via the credit card scanner bc I did not understand how an estimate changed that much?? And I wanted clarification prior to paying the rest of the invoice. 4 When I asked Junior (your employee) about the discrepancy he said the extra charge was due to to double drive time which was NEVER included in my original estimate. I understand that is a law and I paid my total as soon as I got more clarification on the charges. So maybe you should align with your coworkers before you reply to a negative yelp review- get your stories straight!!! 5. AND TO BE VERY VERY CLEAR....the movers were here for 3 hours and 15 minutes which is the allotted time that I booked them for. I was very respectful in not wanting to take anymore time, so that is why I had them NOT take some items. I wanted to respect the amount of time I had them for. 6. Just for the record- besides the drivers clearly lying to you and not telling you the complete truth- THEY DID A GREAT AND EFFICIENT JOB- so I have nothing bad to say except they told you the wrong information and left out the fact that I removed things from the inventory. I WILL NEVER USE YOU GUYS AGAIN, I DO NOT RECOMMEND YOU & HOPE OTHERS THINK TWICE BEFORE USING YOU! The fact that you have a different story, said I changed my inventory and had the movers extra time that I didn't, AND accused me of mistreating your drivers is very bold of you. BEWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!! read more

The team was very slow, vaping walking into the house left all doors open back gates open left a door off the hinge, left their trash in the house when going from one to the next. Left 20 minutes before my to the new house and when i drove by they were sitting on the street I had to turn around and go back and get them. Couldn't figure out how to get furniture through a door, we had to do it ourselves. All and all a very unsatisfied job. Paid almost $800 dollars and it was not worth it. Messaged the company a couple of times with no response! read more

I cannot recommend Zapt highly enough for several reasons. First off, they were so detail oriented, thorough and responsive. Carolina was so communicative throughout the whole process. They were also the best price around after getting several quotes. Everything was so seamless day of as well, I even got a tracking of where the moving truck was so I knew when they would arrive at my place I was moving out of and then when they would arrive at my new place. They were super quick, efficient and handled everything with care. Lastly, I'm immunocompromised and my doctors still have me in isolation so moving was really anxiety inducing. They were so wonderful and careful about wearing masks which was so reassuring. Highly highly recommend! read more

My move was truly one for the record books! Initially, this vendor over promised and under delivered. Read to the end. This saga had a great ending, The quoted price is much less than what I actually paid. I hired them to move me from my 880 Sq ft, 2 bdrm apt to my 850 Sq ft, 1 bdrm apt. They say they disassemble & reassemble furniture and that the workers have tools to perform job. Lies. The workers came 2pm to move me. Who starts moving at 2pm? I should've known better especially when they came driving up on a truck with plastic brown tape covering the driver's side window. They had NO tools & I had to drive them to Home Depot to purchase tools to take apart my entertainment center & king bed. It took them 5 hours to load the truck & when they got to my new home, they broke my king sized bed headboard & left my frame downstairs in my garage. At 10pm, they finally said they'd return the next day to complete. I've never met such unprofessional business in my life. This company lacks integrity and accountability. They ding the workers for their greed by over booking, over scheduling. Save yourself the headache. This is the worst experience. They took advantage of the fact that I'm disabled & a senior citizen Follow up to my earlier post: once I posted this, the area manager called, 10 mins later apologizing for this fiasco. He said they'd make things right. I told him that I did not want the 2 men who moved me, to set foot in my new home. He said he'd send his service manager to rectify the situation. Be sent Junior & Escobar who were excellent workers who redeemed my faith in trusting thumbtack referrals and in his company. I cannot say how things will be in the future but I trust that they will treat all of their customers respectfully and with integrity. First impressions are lasting impressions however I can say, once they learned of my displeasure & saw my post regarding recommending their services, they cleaned up the mess that way made the day before by the previous employees. I can bump up their service level to a 34 read more

I heartily recommend Zapt Movers who were available on short notice to move my husband from one memory care facility to another. The office staff was kind, knowledgeable, and efficient; their communication system was appropriate and accurate. From start to finish, Zapt was perfect! My service rep stayed in touch to ensure there would be no hiccups, and the estimate was right on the money. DONT USE THIS MOVER in the grief of having lost both of my parents in 72 hours I moved too quickly in choosing I use Zapt movers. I was extremely explicit in my instructions to simply move everything from a tiny apartment after both of my parents died suddenly. Instead they left behind a chair, a lamp and a significant number of clothes and other items. . This mistake cost me $520 for an additional two days rent and 3 hours of time driving over to do the rest of the move myself. When I called to pay by credit card and asked if they removed everything they said they did, but foolishly I did not confirm that with my parents assisted living home before paying. In the grief of my parents death I was not skeptical enough. When I called immediately to point out that they had left the goods behind, they said would call right back with a solution and did not. Unfortunately it was too late to reverse the charges against my credit card. Shame on Zapt movers. read more

Value is great! Quality is great! Customer service over the phone is great! Moving service is great! The packing service was very slow. Even for three contracted workers plus three additional people. I was quoted an estimate of 5 hours for full service (packing and move) and we went over to 7 1/2 hours. I'm aware this work is labor intensive, which is why the workers got a very nice cash tip. However, I can't say they had any kind of speed to them when they were packing. Also, they were a little disorganized because no one took the lead, which also slowed things down. All in all, it's a great service at a great price! I definitely recommend. read more

Be wary of this company. They put in their moving contract they would use 3 movers to do the job, knowing I had one item that was particularly heavy, and they only showed up with 2 movers. Paid in full, but called the management afterwards and they ghosted me. They are the wrong choice. read more

We had a great experience yesterday with Zapt. I ordered moving services a month ago. I needed EXACT dates to coordinate the move. Zapt kept their promises and arrived on the scheduled date and delivered the next day on my Bay Area to Southern California. I provided pictures of the apartment to get an accurate quote and I paid exactly what I was quoted. I don't usually write reviews but I had to because the movers lost our tower fan and there were few damages on our master bed. We moved locally and it was very disappointing. We moved with the same things earlier to a different state and nothing was damaged. Unfortunately we noticed all this few days later after moving. We hired them because their price was low but now we have to deal with these damages. Update: we talked with Fabio in customer care and he was very understanding. I made an inquiry on another site that forwarded my details to this company. Within 2 minutes the calls started. In the space of 2 days, I had 8 calls, 2 voicemails and 5 emails from this these people. I totally recommend these movers! They were on time, respectful, and very helpful. They had to maneuver via an elevator the move items to a storage unit on the second floor with no elevator. They did it quickly! read more

I had a horrible experience with Zapt Movers. I scheduled my move from a storage unit for a 12-3 PM window a week in advance and confirmed it. I reserved the elevator at my new place and planned my entire week around this move. When they never showed up, I called for updates and was told they wouldn't arrive until 4:30 PM or later--completely disregarding the agreed-upon time. To make things worse, they expected me to just stand at my storage unit from 12 to 4, waiting for whenever they decided to show up. When I called customer service to ask for updates, I was rudely told to stop calling because they were just going to "tell me the same thing"--that it would be 4 PM, take it or leave it. They even blamed me, saying it was my own fault for not booking an 8 AM slot. I had taken time off work for this and 12-3 was when I could leave my shift, and their attitude was beyond disrespectful. Some of us have lives and jobs! Thanks to their incompetence, I had to rebook my hotel and rearrange my whole schedule. This company clearly has no respect for your time or commitments. Just get a UHaul and do it yourself. read more

Quick & reliable ! I used them n highly recommend them for their pricing n prompt response n pro service. During one of our move we were stuck in the traffic for an hour due to some crash on the freeway, per request Zapt were considerate of this fact n charged us nominally for that hour n didn't burden us. One thing to alert , when getting a quote for any move I realized that it's not just providing Zapt an estimate of the inventory we wish to move is important , but we have to be specific n list down all the items, this is because the assigned drivers just go by the list n cannot consider anything outside that list. I happened to work with Thais, Leandro, Alex & an other person (don't recall the name of the other driver,) were spot on n very customer centric throughout. read more
