We had 2 movers for 5.5 hours moving within San Francisco. They were extremely prepared and exceeded my expectations. They offer wardrobe boxes for hanged clothes which were a huge life saver. You can throw a lot of random items at the bottom of the wardrobe boxes like bags of clothes, etc. They also wrapped all the furniture and boxes carefully. You can tell they're very experienced and know how to move things quickly and efficiently. Highly recommend!! read more

Good service, efficient movers. Got a crazy amount of work done in just a few hours, wrapped everything so nothing was damaged.

This company, hands down, should be hired for all moves. I booked them 5 hours before the arrival time and they arrived within the first five minutes of the confirmed hour window. They were meticulous in packing things, wrapping items and protecting them. They went from Palo Alto to Santa Rosa and well worth the payment! I'd hire them again! Thanks Mike! read more

Yet another wonderful move with AAA! They worked promptly and diligently. I never felt like they were milking the time. They took care with my items and were very polite. Would hire them again and recommend them to anyone looking for movers in the Bay Area! read more

These guys are amazing! They're super efficient, yet careful with your items, strong, and get the job done quick! This is my 3rd time using them and I've recommended them to friends who were just as impressed. Consistent and reliable! Hire them!! read more

Great service, on time. Very dedicated staff. Communication is little struggle but it works out for this price

Very efficient movers ! I would book them again and they were budget friendly. Moved from Oak to Walnut for under $600!

Jian & Li were rock stars!!!!! So appreciative of their excellent service!!!! Gratitude in tack... No parking location, difficult building... Great service on short notice. Thank you to them both... Great company!!! read more

Used them to move from my apartment into new home last December. There were some language difficulties, but nothing some pointing and gesturing couldn't solve. My last apartment was a trek from the loading station (5-7 min each way) but they loaded and cleared out the apartment in record time. They were very thorough and wrapped all of my items thoroughly. Nothing broken in the move. Would absolutely recommend and use them again! read more

The movers were horrible. It took them 6 hours to move me out of 950 square feet, even though I packed a third of the house prior to their arrival, threw away a third of the house and I had 3 friends helping. My previous movers took 3 hours with time to spare to move me out of 2000sf, wish they were available for this move. You have to watch the movers closely, I caught them talking on the phone, putting hangers away one at a time and don't get me started on the hourly smoke breaks. They complained about the weather and scraped the walls in the new house. I'm still confused as to why they separated all the plugs from my electronics, even my diffuser. They brought tape, but were stingy with it. Moving is stressful enough, this company just milks your time, energy and money. Run! read more

These movers were amazing. They showed up on time and immediately started moving my things. Throughout the entire move they moved at a very fast pace. They were extremely helpful and kept a positive attitude the entire time. They were also very affordable. They communicated their rate and truck fee up front and there were no additional charges added at the end. The price they tell you is what you will pay. Overall they made a very stressful move very easy. Please tip if you work with them, they really deserve it. read more

After living in my apartment for the past 16 years I knew I had a ton of stuff and a lot of large furniture. I reached out to this company and received an immediate response and confirmation. It was kind of a last minute decision to hire movers so we literally reached out the week before we needed them and they were available! They showed up within their window, with a big truck, wrapped all of our furniture with blankets and plastic wrap and got it done within four hours (poor guys had to drag some of our stuff upstairs in our new townhome and they even rolled out a carpet so that they didn't get the carpet on the stairs dirty while using the hand truck to get things up there ) Would hire them a million times again!! Highly recommend! Thank you AAA movers for a smooth stress free move! read more

Good price and great value! Very responsive communication before and after the move, and the team was very efficient. Something was left on the truck that I didn't notice until the next day and Mike found it and delivered it--I will call them again if I need to move again. read more

These movers were fast, super efficient, careful with our stuff, and very friendly. Obviously they have lots of experience. And they charged by the hour so all our work to prepare for our move really paid off. We couldn't be happier! read more

This was our second time hiring AAA Best Movers and both times everything went great. Fast responses to set up, competitive pricing, and the movers themselves were efficient and friendly. We will definitely use them for our next move. read more

These guys are absolute rockstars, seriously. They just completed a move for me yesterday, in the scorching 101 degree heat. I asked for a team of four because my sofa is one piece, with solid wood, and it originally took a crew of four to move it up the stairs since it would not fit in an elevator. These guys were able to get my extremely heavy sofa down the stairs with what seemed like ease. They are VERY strong. They work quickly, diligently, with no breaks. I kept trying to offer snacks and drinks, but they would politely refuse so they could keep working. They got the job done, not only quickly and extremely efficiently, but also with such care. They are seriously the best and have absolutely earned their name. Hopefully I won't be moving any time soon, but I look forward to using their services again in the future -- I highly recommend them. read more

These guys were great! Not only were they professional and fast, but they wore masks and were safe. I did a move of about 50 miles and these guys were amazing all the way. I would definitely hire them again. read more

Generally they did a great job on my move. They stayed to my quoted price (via Yelp messaging), and confirmed my appointment via text the day before. The three men were very efficient, picking up additional items along their way to the truck. They packaged everything and I don't think I had any damage. HOWEVER, one other reviewer noted that their truck has a lift instead of ramps. Taking several minutes to get up and down the ramp for each load did not seem efficient to me either. Also, at the beginning of the move I pointed to the refrigerator in the house and said THIS one is going, but the one in the garage (pointing) is staying. At the end of the move both the refrigerators were there. They thought they were done and ready to leave to the new place. I said, hey you forgot the refrigerator! They had to move around the back of the truck to make space for the refrigerator, which obviously ate up time. I don't know if he if didn't understand me (in which case he should have asked me for clarification), or if he just forgot. At the end, I paid the full amount, plus $24 over because I didn't have change and he didn't offer me change. I gave each of the guys a $20 tip, and the head mover engaged with me as to how much he thought I should tip, which I didn't appreciate. The owner reached out to me to apologize about this, and let me know asking for any tip is against company policy and that she talked to the mover about their actions. She offered to make the situation right and I appreciated that. So I would say, it's fair to give 3.5 stars, but rounded up for the owner's efforts. Overall it's a well priced moving company and workers did a good job on the move itself. Just be careful, if the movers try to talk about tip, just say you know it's against company policy and I wouldn't tip them anything based on their violation of company policy. read more

AAA Best Movers were very helpful in our move. They were efficient-wrapping big furnitures in a snap. The cost of the AAA movers are reasonable. 3 guys came to our house on time and really catered to our needs. Instead of working slowly, they saw that we were prepared with boxes ready to go and they went to work immediately! They were careful and extremely friendly. My family and I are happy with their service and would recommend them for sure. read more

Shout out to the 3 men that completed a big move for my family & I last Friday, from an apartment to a house . They came in and started packing any remaining unboxed items . Shrink wrapped most of the furniture. Moved w/ caution and we're very efficient. The truck was carefully packed and well organized. They did a great job of unloading. Super grateful for the dismantling and putting the pieces of furniture back together (dining table, bed frames, etc.) ~ 10hrs . (~7:30am - 5:45pm) Thank you so much AAA Best Movers ! read more

I've never written a yelp review. My wife and I moved out of a three bedroom one bathroom apartment, with steep and narrow 52 stairs to get to our flat. We had no street parking. We moved from the Inner Richmond to Outer Sunset. Our furniture was not old IKEA. It was old, heavy, clunky antiques. This guys were awesome handling the antiques on all 52 stairs. Including a 100 pound old gray couch. They never complained once. Today I spent 7 hours with three amazing gentleman who worked very hard. They were prompt, efficient, and fun to be around. I think it's hard to find people that actually care about their work, I was incredibly impressed by their attention to detail and how they focused on every little corner and every turn, to take absolute consideration to our new house and our furniture. It sounds odd on a yelp review. I was sad to see them go. Which is why we took this photo below. I don't know, it felt like I had family and friends moving me into my new home. read more

I hired AAA Best Movers to move me on Friday, March 1. They arrived on time with a very large truck and began working right away. They did not stop to take a break or even eat lunch. All 3 men worked quickly and efficiently for 7.5 hours. I was very impressed with their work ethics! All my breakables (curved glass china cabinet, Fostoria crystal, lamps, vases, etc) were wrapped and handled with care. Nothing was broken. They moved my furniture and boxes into the rooms I wanted them to go and were very easy to work with. Only one spoke English well, but that did not create a communication problem. I compared the costs of twelve moving companies by: Min Hours Required Minimum # of workers Cash vs credit card cost Minimal Cost addtl increments of 15 minutes Cost of Travel to location Fuel Boxes charge? Truck rental fee Moving Equip included? Floor Protection? Carry up stairs? Assembly/Disassembly Moving blankets PackingMaterials to move items Boxing items Sm Box Med Box Lg Box Mirror Box Bubble Wrap AAA Best Movers tied with were the best deal using the criteria above, and I am very pleased they turned out to be such a very good deal. Thus company was quick to reply and was in a bidding war unknown to them. Which they won! They were quick in the process of taking my garage item and side house full of items to my storage. Which was great, they were nice and quick and friendly to my grandchildren which is a blessing because they wanted to watch them and help oh did I say they are 3 & 1. This company dud a windows job and text me when they were in traffic getting to me. I will call on them again read more

Due to limitations after a surgery, I needed to hire movers. AAA Best Movers have a competitive quote and we're very responsive. I was able to book through messages and they confirmed the movers. The company has amazing communication and it was easy to text them as needed. The day of my move the movers were prompt and professional. They were efficient and were able to quickly unload my storage unit and transport everything to my house. They were very easy to work with and I would definitely recommend them. read more

AAA BEST MOVERS were a little early and ready to go wirh a large truck. Tgey were professional, courteous, and fast. I prepared ahead of time but still they disassembled and reassembled my bed frame without a hitch! They completed the move and cleaned up most of the materials used to package or wrap items (98%) such as cardboad boxing and plastic wrap. The cash fee was very affordable at $105/hour with a 3 hour minimum charge. They were done before the 3 hours since I planned and prepared along with there fast and efficient service! Amazing! I highly recommend AAA BEST MOVERS! read more

They didn't fully wrap everything. We had multiple items with nicks and scratches as a result. They also pissed all over our toilet and floor and then had the nerve to tell us how much we should tip them, 25%. When it was time to pay, I told them I wanted to do Venmo since that was an option they offered. they said no and argued with me. I had to bring up their Yelp to show them they were wrong. Do not hire them. read more

They are indeed the best movers!! I've used them twice - the utmost care in moving your furniture and they even take the time to wrap things. They provide wardrobe boxes for your clothes so you can keep your clothes on the hanger. The movers are responsive, timely (pro tip to pick the first slot in the morning if you're on a stricter schedule), and careful. Very professional and also the best price in the Bay Area. I got quoted $2500 from one company and AAA for hourly work I ended up paying $800 with tip included! Did I mention they also help with uninstalling the bed and helping you reinstall it in your new place? read more

We had a lot of items and so many stairs in both the target and starting destinations! They were quick to get to work and even helped pack up some of our items that weren't packed up already. They had lots of boxes available for this! There weren't any nicks on any of our items, however there were some scratch marks on the walls (that are easy to paint over) specifically on the stairs of the destination place. To be fair, the stairs were super small and tight corners, it would've been impossible moving such large items otherwise! They also disassembled and reassembled our furniture to fit through small spaces. One warning to anyone, we were quoted around $500 and ended up with $800 (we paid $950 with tip) and this is for a 1 bedroom. We were fine to pay the price because to us even $1000 was worth it, but to some people this may be a concern! read more

AAA Best Movers definitely live up to their name. Their pricing is very reasonable. The crew were professional and hard working. They showed up on time, handled everything with care and worked fast and efficiently. Highly recommended! read more

We recently moved from Cupertino to San Franciso and couldn't have asked for a better experience! They showed up exactly at the agreed-upon time and got right to work. I actually started timing them on my phone from the moment they parked the truck to the time we unloaded the last box and they charged me for EXACTLY the amount of time spent working. It was the cheapest quote we got! They also managed our 2-story apartment + 3 flights of stairs. They had a positive attitude and were very careful! read more

10/10 we would choose AAA Best Movers again! We appreciated that Mike was super transparent about pricing and responsive since the beginning of the process. Scheduling was super easy-- we had requested a quote via Yelp, received an estimate immediately, and were able to schedule right away. We decided to go with AAA best movers due to the positive reviews, quick communication, and relatively affordable pricing compared to other moving services. The day before, we received a confirmation text verifying the move. The day of, two movers arrived in a large truck. The two movers wore masks, worked super efficiently, were gentle with our furniture, and the move was finished in a little less than the estimated time which was a pleasant surprise. We did a move of a 1 bedroom from the Outer Sunset area of San Francisco (upstairs unit) to El Cerrito (ground floor). It took a total of around 3 hours 15 minutes. Things we especially appreciated-- - they laid out a red carpet when moving things into the new place to keep our floors clean! - they disassembled and assembled our bed for us. We were worried as we didn't have any instructions or tools but they had no problem. - they carefully wrapped our furnitures like chairs and shelves. This was our first time using a moving service, and we are very happy we went with AAA best movers! I would highly recommend! read more

The team that showed up was fast, and professional. They got to work immediately, and worked diligently until the move was complete. They definitely went above and beyond, and even help to fix a piece of furniture! I would definitely recommend these guys to anyone seeking to move in the San Francisco Bay area read more

Second time using them and would highly recommend ! Showed up on time, worked quickly and have great attitudes

AAA movers are the best and I can't recommend them enough. They were the first moving company to get back to me with a quote. Their quote was extremely reasonable compared to other moving companies and there was no hidden cost. They showed up on time and were super efficient and careful loading and unloading our stuff. It's incredible how fast they worked. Our new apartment complex was not exactly "moving friendly" with a lot of turns and hallways and narrow spaces. It was quite a distance from where they could park their truck to the unit. Yet, these guys still managed to move everything efficiently and carefully. They were professional, friendly, and followed all covid safety guidelines. Thank you AAA movers for taking a lot of the stress out of moving! I will use them again in the future if I need to move again! read more

AAA was my top choice movers, until they stopped responding to my messages. According to Yelp, they are a newer moving company so maybe they are small, but it is unacceptable for a vendor to ghost a paying customer read more

They were really good. It took 4 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment (wasn't packed well so that's on me) but they wrapped every single item in plastic which is great but I'm pretty sure that all together took 1-1.5 hours which is expensive. They lost a star for me because they didn't even get to my apartment until 8:26am and they finished at 12:24pm and tried to charge me for 4.3 hours...I only pulled enough cash out for 4 hours + generous tip. They then asked for more tip because they calculated the hours incorrectly. That just seemed really uncomfortable and unprofessional. If you're going to be late, please keep track of that. I was totally fine with them being late until they tried to charge me for an 8am start time. Just get agreement on start and finish time and you shouldn't have any issues. Nothing broke and I would hire them again. read more

They moved me almost a year ago and provided outstanding service, as well as straightforward quotes and pricing!
