Carlos and his crew where wonderful. They showed up on time, and got everything done way faster than I expected. They handled my stuff with care and made the whole moving process way less stressful. Everything went smoothly from start to finish. Would definitely use them again and recommend to anyone needing help with a move! read more

Two gentlemen showed up and handled my possessions like they would their own. This was the easiest move I've ever had. I would recommend Zapt Movers every time. The price was very reasonable too. 5 read more

Great work, everything arrived on time and in good condition. Also, they were much more affordable than other quotes we received.

Don't waste your time with this people!!! Get a professional service. We hire them and they were 3 and a half hours late. If you appreciate your valuable time and money look for another company. They give us 30min discount for being 3 hours and a half late I guess thats the one star. Btw the crew was amazing and super helpful booking the reservation and also they ghost, never call back or say something about being late the day of the reservation. Just move on to a different company! read more

Extremely disappointed with Zapt Movers. I would rate 0 star if I could. We had a move scheduled for 1pm, and they didn't show up without any proactive updates or clear communication. We had to keep calling just to find out what was going on. At first, they said the team would arrive "soon", then later told us one of the movers had broken their hand and they were sending other movers over. The estimated arrival kept getting pushed... first to 3pm, 4pm, then 5pm. After more back and forth (with us always having to call for updates), they finally canceled after 6pm. It was incredibly frustrating and stressful to be left hanging on such an important day. Things happen, but the lack of transparency and accountability made a bad situation worse. Would not recommend based on our experience. read more

Benny was my estimator and person I worked with over the last 6 months. He did exactly what he said would happen and my move went smoothly. The competitor was originally a little less expensive and then changed things at the last minute. Benny kept my process smooth and simple. My schedule was delayed and we finally had a date and plan. And Richardo was the lead of my move. He was exceptional. I cannot say enough good things about him. He was a Monday pickup with 3 trucks and delivered on Wed to Arizona. It took 9 hours to load 50k lbs of stuff and 6 hours to unload. Amazing. read more

On time! Amazing service! Fast! All furniture was wrapped for added protection, but not needed. The movers were very careful and thoughtful of my belongings, ensuring nothing was broken during the move. Definitely recommend. Call the day before for service and Zapt Movers was flexible and accommodating to fit me into their schedule on short notice. Thank you for your service, much appreciated. Great movers, while on site. but I donot think that Travel time should be the same rate. I left 1 hr after the movers and arrived at the drop off location at the same time. Did they stop ??? No one knows. And loading the storage unit could have used a little more organization. I now have to hire someone to move a couch which sitting right in front of the door. read more

From initial communication through timely pickup and delivery Zapt was fabulous to work with, can't recommend highly enough.

I found out about Zapt Movers from a fellow neighbor that used their service and recommended it. My partner and I recently moved from Palo Alto to central Santa Clara area. I reached out online for a quote and the response time was fast. I was quoted based on providing a checklist/info of furniture items (couch, mattress, dress drawers, etc) and approximate number of boxes. 2 movers and a truck. 3 hour minimum. I was quoted ~$750 for 5 hours total (gratuity not included but recommended) based on the info I provided. This includes the movers having to box and wrap any items. All materials/supplies were brought by the movers. What can I say, the 2 guys were experience movers. They did an exceptional job wrapping our furniture with moving blankets and shrink wrap. Very thorough and swift! They played a helluva game of Tetris and loaded all of our stuff in the moving truck. The unload was quick -- all we did was give direction on where everything goes. The move ended up being only 4 hours so it knocked a hundred off our total. HIGHLY recommend this moving service. read more

I used Zapt Movers for my move from San Francisco to Los Angeles. They were great! On time. Packed with care. They were courteous and completed the delivery quickly. I recommend them. read more

The move was good and the price was exactly as quoted. The price beat their competitors and they were very flexible to work with. One caution is their crews use power tools to assemble fine furniture. They damaged an antique and desk by miss-assembly with power tools. Overall the value very good. You will probably have damage to a few items, but this is typical in a move. read more

they were great! from the folks in the office to the movers who came, they were all helpful and nice. The move went smoothly and for a very fair price! read more

Super pleased with our experience with Zapt movers. This is the third time I've used movers and this is the first time that the movers hustled the whole time and didn't try to sell me any additional charges. We moved a 2 bedroom apartment to a large two story home. The furniture was carefully disassembled/reassembled, protected for transport and the movers were respectful of both properties. I greatly appreciate that there was a lot of communication ahead of the move to ensure we had everything in place and that any supplied we needed could be brought. Moving was a breeze and I highly recommend them. It means a lot when a company respects your time and wallet. read more

I would give 0 stars if possible. Zapt is a horror story that messed up my move badly. After I provided the correct estimated inventory multiple times and booking a moving service nearly 2 months in advance, they arrived on the day of the move with a small truck with a hole on top on a day that was overcast. Moving is stressful as it is and Zapt made it worse. They offered a compromise after dropping the ball hard by underestimating the truck size. Their compromise was to either pay them to make two trips with their damaged truck (and pay them after hour rate) when it clearly wasn't my fault OR to reschedule the move to the following week (my lease runs out 6 days before the move they suggested. Their customer service was atrocious. When we understandable yelled at customer service after repeated attempts to get through to them, they had the gall to say we offended them. I had to find a last minute mover and pay nearly double the price. I am seeking legal remedies against Zapt. Avoid this company like the plague. EDIT: the response from Fabio pretty much sums up my experience. They shift the blame on the customer and have issue with swearing, but take no accountability to putting us in a terrible situation. Who on earth estimates moving with cubic feet? I mentioned a total of 80 medium boxes and some furniture. The cubic feet stuff should be done by movers. Also, please post the recording so the world can know what a terrible job you do and decide if it was ok for us to yell. EDIT: Here's a photo of an excellent job another mover did. I provided them with the same inventory I shared with zapt, they estimated correctly and everything fit in a 26' truck. It would be nice if customer service did their job at Zapt and not quote CA laws and shift the blame on the customer or provide substandard solutions. read more

Zapt Movers - Full truck with stuff that was expertly done by another mover. They quoted the size, cost and time perfectly. - Movers Near Me - Hayward, California

I was very pleased with the efficiency and professionalism of the Zapp Movers. Rodrigo and Victor showed up on time and was able to move all of my daughter's stuff quickly and neatly. They put protective covers on everything and was able to deliver the furniture promptly that evening! Fast but took their time to make sure all of our belongings were appropriately cashed for.

I got a quote from 10 different moving companies for a 20 mile move on a weekend and got the best rate from Zapt movers: $110/hr for two men with packing supplies and a truck. Compared to the second best quote at $199/hr, this was an easy decision. Leading up to moving day, I had excellent communication with Matt Melo thru email. He asked me important questions, understood my needs, and reassured that this'll be a smooth move. Moving day could not have gone any better. Ricardo and Luis arrived on time with a giant truck. I can't speak enough on how grateful my family is to have Ricardo lead this move for us. Ricardo was the best part of this service and I'd pay any price to hire him for my next move. He's the friendliest giant I've ever met. He communicated the plan every step of the way, he took very careful care of all of our furniture and electronics, provided complimentary wrapping, and helped us find missing jewelry they found in the couch. My move took twice as long as expected, but he still made sure all of our furniture was fully assembled in the new place. Zapt and Ricardo is the best option for moving in the Bay Area. read more

I moved from The Bay Area to Grass Valley, at first this moving company seemed together. The move went so smooth and the men were professional. A couple days after move I noticed I was missing some art and contacted them, they said they would check with the men who moved me and then got back to me to say nothing was found. I knew 100% two pieces of art left my old house and didn't show up an my new house. I sent a message how important one of the pieces was and they then found it but not the 2nd piece which was an antique. No sorry, NOTHING!!!!! They said they would contact me with a delivery time, but nothing, even when I called no one got back to me. Last night at 9:30 pm, I was in bed! And a knock on my bedroom window by two men saying they have a picture for me. Yes I got it back, Thank You. But tell me how this was professional? And what about my antique art? I would Never recommend them! read more

Zapt Movers was fast, efficient, and great value for my move from the Bay Area to Socal. They were the best priced and most flexible out of the many options I got quotes from. They were able to accommodate a later arrival in the afternoon instead of the morning, the movers arrived on time, and the overall move was handled efficiently. For a 1BR, it was about 1.5-2 hours on each end. Would highly recommend Zapt for future moves. read more

Wow. Be very wary of the 5-Star reviews for this company. We booked them because of the great reviews and had nothing but issues, grief, and stress. *Pre-Move* We booked them a month before our set move date. Had a call with our rep (Carolina) and submitted our entire inventory. She said that we had 650 cubic feet of inventory. Leading up to the move we got multiple calls from different people saying different dates and times. Leandro (Service Manager) told us to ignore them and he had no idea why they were doing that (it's your company, what do you mean you don't know why??). The week of the move I looked up the size of the truck and immediately knew it wasn't going to be big enough- I called Carolina and she said that it wasn't a problem at all and that she would send a 26ft truck instead so that we had plenty of room. *Move* Drivers arrived late with a smaller truck. Unfortunately, there was also a huge language barrier as they did not speak English and I speak very broken Spanish so we were relying on a translator app the entire time. We called Carolina and she said that they could come at a later date with a bigger truck- this solution did not work for us as we had to be out of our apartment that day. The mover then said that he could not take our refrigerator even though it was on the provided inventory. We spoke with Leandro and he said that he would send another truck a few days later to pick up the remaining stuff and that the drivers would provide us a video before they left to make sure they got everything. We begged our apartment manager to let us stay a couple more days while we figured this out and they (fortunately) agreed. The following Monday, the second movers arrived (note, we did not get the video that was promised) and only half of our stuff was delivered. I called my apartment manager and he confirmed that a ton of stuff was left behind. The new mover provided me the video that he took and I sent an itemized list (about two boxes worth valued at $800 of stuff) to Leandro and he said "I'm just looking at trash" but still offered to send a THIRD driver to pick up our remaining stuff. Five days after the move and three movers later, we finally got all of our stuff. *Post-Move* Leandro provided us Fabio's contact information to discuss getting a refund (either partial or full) due to the horrible experience that we had as well as to discuss submitting a claim for all of our broken furniture. Fabio did not reach out to us like Leandro said, so I compose an email that included photos of all of our damaged furniture as well as a timeline of events that happened. Fabio informed us that we didn't opt to have the extended insurance (I wasn't aware of this) and is proceeding with the claim. As of today we are still waiting to come to a resolution on this. My recommendation to those who are considering to work with these guys is to look elsewhere. We really regret working with them. This whole ordeal was completely unnecessary and a headache due to Zapt's mismanagement and internal miscommunications. We think it would have been fair to offer us some kind of refund back due to their errors and poor customer service but they've made it clear that it's not happening. read more

Zapt movers damaged my 55" smart tv and lost a door on my headboard. I moved on April 9th and I put in a claim for the damages. I was sent an email to take pictures of the tv and the information on the back sticker. I also sent a picture of my headboard. I received an email with an off for a signature and was told that I would receive a check within 30 days for $150 for the tv damage. No words about the missing door. It's May 28th and I still haven't received the check. I do not recommend this company. read more

Moving is the worst, but Zapt makes it so easy!!! We moved from the Bay Area to LA and Ricardo and his crew made it SO easy! They took such good care of all our stuff, the last time we moved the movers we hired didn't put padding on most of our stuff and we felt it wasn't safe! Zapt had so many supplies and wardrobe boxes for us to use! They packed the whole apartment into the truck in under 4 hours and unpacked it at our new home in LESS THAN TWO!!!! The GPS tracking on the truck also gave us so much peace of mind since they did the move in two days. Being able to see where all our stuff was made us feel at ease. Pricing is very fair too, we feel it's such bang for your buck and totally worth investing in! Thank you Zapt!!! read more
