Came here with a group of my friends and ordered the rainbow soup dumplings. I got one of each- chicken, spicy pork, pork and shrimp, beef. We were supposed to get a pizza as well, but they appeared to be out so I received two chicken dumplings. Not a problem just wish they would've told me! The dumplings were delicious, I especially liked the spicy pork dumpling. Lots of seating available. Service could've been better, our waiter didn't really speak to us. Overall though, I felt the food was delicious so would definitely come again!

The pork chop over rice with minced pork and a fried egg was so delicious. The pork had this sweet flavor and was crispy and juicy, right on the bone. The dumpling soup is also great. Everything on the menu looked good and the food and kitchen smelled delicious. All cooked to order and served hot. Plenty of seating. Service was quick.

Average at best. The service was not great. They were slow to take our order and also slow to help us pay. The place was clean with lots of seating available. The food was okay. Got the marinade tofu which was decent, nothing to write home about. Same with the steamed shrimp dumplings. The Thai iced tea was the best part of the meal.

Tried other noodles this time and they were very good! The sour picked cabbage and flounder noodle hit the spot and the pork chop noodles broth was pretty peppery. Attentive service and lots of take out.

My friend offered to pick up Yu Noodles for our group dinner last Thursday, so I happily accepted! I haven't been to Yu Noodles for awhile, but I saw they had the fish with sour pickled cabbage which has hit a few cravings as of recent, so I wanted to try the one here. N8. FLOUNDER W. SOUR PICKLED CABBAGE NOODLE SOUP - 13 It came a quite a few pieces of flounder, which was quite good for the price. The flounder wasn't super soft, either it's not super fresh or overcooked. There was plenty of pickled cabbage to add a bit of acidity. The broth was OK. The flavor was a mix of sour and savory, but I prefer mine on the creamier side, and this broth just wasn't that. Regardless, it does the job. Glad to see more diverse cuisines in Rosslyn other than fast-casual. And for the area, this is reasonably affordable.

TLDR; The Yu Noodles in Tysons is 100x better I loved my time at the Tyson's location so I ordered takeout the other night. I got the yibin noodles, which had 2 chili peppers on the menu, but they weren't really spicy at all, and I'm not even good with spice. The sauce was pretty good but was basically one-note flavor. The pan fried pork buns were.... Not good. The filling was decent but instead of pan fried it looked like the dumplings were just held near a pan for a few seconds. They did open recently so maybe they're working out some kinks, so I would like to eat at the restaurant and give them another shot! They did have some decent prices at least

Loved this new spot. I haven't been to any of Yu Noodles' other locations, but the menu at the new Rosslyn looked solid--so I had to check it out. The interior is sleek and minimal, with a clean design and a soundtrack of bumping U.S. pop music that gives it a fun, casual vibe. The staff was friendly and helpful, offering a few great suggestions. We started with the wood ear mushrooms ("fungus" on the menu). Served cold, they were surprisingly flavorful...light, spicy, and refreshing. A perfect appetizer before diving into something heavier. I went with the Chongqing noodles, and they were fantastic. The broth reminded me of a mala hot pot base...spicy, numbing, and complex...but paired with excellent noodles. I wish there had been an option to add some protein beyond the fried egg; a little meat would've taken it to the next level. We also tried the spicy pork soup dumplings, which were delicious and juicy. The vinegar-based dipping sauce wasn't really our thing, but the chili oil on the table worked just fine. Definitely coming back to try more!

Solid spot for noodles and dumplings, not too expensive either. The soup dumplings were tasty. I got the chicken noodle soup for my entree, it was very solid but the broth could've had a little more flavor. I also tried my friend's beef noodle soup, while it was good also wished for just a bit more flavor. The chili available on the table was helpful to amp up the meal. Service was good and prompt.

I'm always in search for authentic Chinese restaurants in VA and am constantly disappointed. Unfortunately, Yu Noodles in a Rosslyn did not satisfy my expectations. The food wasn't terrible but not great either. I stoped by recently to have a solo dinner. I ordered their spicy beef noodle soup and pan fried pork buns. When I've tried spicy beef noodle soup in New York, typically the serving is much more generous and the beef is large chunks of tender beef in a deeply flavorful broth. What I was served at Yu Noodles was not that. What I got was a moderate portion of soup with thin slices of tough beef in a decently flavored broth. The pork buns were just okay, decent seasoning but I wish they were juicer. The one plus side I found was that the prices were decent, so I may come back to try other items on their menu. The service was fine and the decor was decent.

I just found out there was one in my area. After going I have to say the quality is great and the same as Fairfax. I really enjoy the spicy dumplings and other dishes that really bring back memories from my childhood. Service was ok. I didn't like how they seated me in the middle of the restaurant even though it wasn't but that's just my preference. Lastly parking is limited. It was raining that day so I found street parking right in front but I can see if it was not raining it would be hard to find street parking. Overall a had a great time and similar ambience to the other Yu stores.

Yu Noodles offer a unique taste on noodle soup. My girlfriend and I ordered the Beef Noodle Soup and Chongqing noodles and both dishes offered flavors that made us feel like we were in China. The spices especially was a unique taste that reminded me of my vacation to China as a kid. We recommend this restaurant for a quick eats by the Rosslyn metro stop. The noodles were done within 5 minutes of ordering, and the portion size was good. The interior was well designed and felt like a noodle shop. However, a lot of dishes include peanuts. Be cautious if you have allergies and you can request dishes to be made without peanuts.

I was really excited to try this branch which is the closest to DC and accessible by metro. The dumplings were soupy and delicious. The noodles are springy and I love the intestine meat which is something that I'm able to mimic at home, hence a must order if I dine out! I was expecting something spicier but wasn't really able to taste the spice, although I do have rather high spice tolerance.

Always looking for a good spot for dry noodles, and Yu Noodles met that mark. We carried out rather than dined in. The spicy dry run noodles were so good, as were the cold shrimp noodles. Definitely recommend. We also got the soup dumplings and pork buns which were good but not that unique from a lot of other places around town. Might've been better fresh as opposed to carry out.

According to an article I found online, Mrs. Ann Troung owned and ran Peking Pavilion until it was sold to her nephew. It may be time for Mrs. Troung to return and offer guidance to the new owner, because the restaurant is unlikely to survive if it continues to serve overpriced, uninspired food.

The food came out a little bit slow despite the restaurant not being full, which contributed to us eating less than I expected to during the 90 min res. But, for AYCE the food quality definitely beat my expectations. Would skip the crispy garlic rice as it was pretty plain and the souffle pancake (honestly more sponge cake than souffle?). However, my opinion changed when my wife and I dined in the restaurant for the first time. It will not be our last. What drove me to dine in was the ambience I observed when I picked up a previous takeout order. It was a really nice place, with neat décor, plenty of seating, and a serving staff that was obviously attentive. This remained my impression when we came here for the first time recently. Contrary to our takeout orders, the food blew us away when it was fresh from the kitchen. Perhaps this was because we ordered different things, or perhaps because what we ordered to-go (e.g., fried eggplant, Szechuan chicken) did not travel well. Whatever the case, but this was some of the best Chinese food we have eaten in a long time. For appetizers we ordered the puffy scallion pancake, which was fun to tear and share, and came with some very nice curry sauce or dipping. We also ordered the pork soup dumplings, which were everything you could want in a soup dumpling - piping hot with a warm, soul-soothing broth inside (but which does not travel particularly well in takeout orders). For our entrees, my wife ordered the duck fried rice. I am not the biggest fan of fried rice, but this was some of the best I ever had. The duck favor was prominent but not overwhelming and the pineapple was the best integrated I have ever experienced in a savory dish. I had leftover for lunch today and it was still quite good. I ordered the fish in chili oil, a bubbling, soupy dish covered in peppers. This was phenomenal, an excellent balance of heat, numbing, and flavor. And there was plenty of fish in the dish, as well. I will be hard pressed not to order this every time we come here in the future. We split the fried green beans (solid - crisp and well spiced), which I ate for breakfast over rice with some of the leftover fish. Again, it was still good. As my previous comments imply, serving sizes are large.
