This place is a hit! We glad we listened to a recommendation and found this place. We had bruschetta which really good! The pizza we had Diavola, Prosciutto with Arugula and pepperoni. Everything was so good but my fave is Prosciutto with Arugula. The dough, taste and feels like am in Napoli again. We also ordered the lasagna, but I think it's not for our party. It's not bad but we just have high expectations. The staff were wonderful, really fast and they are there in the right time. The place was has its own character and charm from the outside to inside. Sittings are available outdoor and indoor. For sure we will go back!

Most authentic Italian pizza in the DMV. The numerous awards are well deserved. I ordered a 12 inch Margherita pizza. Great balance of sauce and cheese. The crust was crispy, not too thick, and brought me back to the years I lived in Italy. The flour is even shipped from Italy! The 12 inch feeds one person quite easily, but can also be shared for 2 with an appetizer. Service was friendly, genuine, and fast. Vibe was casual. While I only ordered pizza, I'll be back for happy hour! The wine selection looked impressive, and happy hour applies to whole menu!

The flavors were there but the execution wasn't the greatest. I don't like my pizza to droop when I pick it up. Maybe if the crust were a little thicker with less grease it wouldn't droop. Sauce was watery but tasted good. The outer crust was perfect. I understand they purposely make it this way, just not my preference I guess.

My 12" Casertana, a delicious sausage pizza that's enough for two (people or meals).

A Modo Mio offers many food specials. For example, on Tuesdays, that's when we stopped there for dinner, all their pasta dishes are 1/2 price. However, given that they ranked 32nd among this country's top 50 Pizza restaurants, I had to order a pizza. And I'll get to my pizza after I discuss some other things, because it all plays together. Also, during my visit, I kept drawing comparisons between this place and Pupatella, a local Neapolitan pizza juggernaut. The Big Question to answer is why A Modo Mio got a spot on the Top 50 while Pupatella didn't even make the cut. Access is easy, and parking is good. There are lots of spaces that wrap around the restaurant. That's in contrast to Pupatell, which has limited parking and where I always wind up using the Safeway lot across the street. The restaurant is clean and spacious, with plenty of comfortable seating. It also has a long, well-stocked bar where you can sit to enjoy a beverage or a meal. Pupatella doesn't have any of that. When you arrive, you're greeted by a host who shows you to your seat. A very short while later, a waiter shows up and does all the things waiters do. At Pupatella, you wait in line to place your order, then find an open table. TLDR: Your dining experience, outside of the food, is much more civilized and relaxing at A Modo Mio. The pie that earned their 32 out of 50 ranking was the Sicilia. But I ordered a 12" Casertana because I'm not crazy about eggplant and like sausage. The pie arrived a short while later, piping hot and loaded with sausage. The taste was sublime and delicious. My only complaint was that the basil was added before baking, and I prefer that herb when it's not reduced to ash. So back to The Big Question, is the A Modo Mio pizza *that* much better than Pupatella that it earned a spot amongst the Top 50 while the other one didn't even make the cut? Frankly, it's not. It is good pizza... possibly great pizza. But that's also true of the other place. What sets A Modo Mio apart from that other place, and the answer to the Big Question, is that the criteria for generating the Top 50 list included more than the pizza. It also took into account: - Hospitality and Service - Ambiance - Beverage Program. Beyond the pizza, A Modo Mio has those things in abundance, while the other place pretty much has none. TLDR: Comparing pizzas side by side, the two places are on par. However, if you take into account the entire dining experience, you will be much happier with your pizza here, as opposed to that other place or most other pizza restaurants in the DMV area.

The pizza that they make here is real authentic Italian Pizza. Everything from the dough, sauce, and imported ingredients. We ordered their supreme style pizza, and it was clear that they added way more veggies than what you would normally find on an average supreme type of pizza. I've had my fair share experience with authentic style pizzas, so you can take my word for it. We loved the supreme pizza that we had in the restaurant, we ordered a second pepperoni pizza to take home. My kids couldn't even wait to dig into the take home pizza, but I hope it is still as fresh if we re-heat it for tomorrow. We will see if the pizza even lasts that long in the fridge! The service was genuine and very friendly, and we all look forward to returning to ths restaurant soon.

We keep coming back for more!! Amazing seafood pasta, al dente of course. Great pizzas, thin crust and light sauce and cheese like in Italy, great coffee (try the cold one shaken and served in a martini glass, can't remember the name), great Tiramisu. Everything here is delicious!

I thought the pizza was pretty good, but a couple of them were a little more floppy than I would like. We saw four different pizzas to share meatball egg, eggplant, pesto, and prosciutto. My favorite was the prosciutto with the fresh arugula. I also enjoyed the pesto and burrata. We got the roasted broccoli and there's nothing special. Comes with free bread and olive oil didn't really enjoy it, since the bread was hard. We were there for someone's birthday and we got free Panna cotta and an ensemble to sing happy birthday. It was really cute. It was a good vibe to enjoy dinner together with friends.

The pizza here is so tasty! We got a pizza that was half Arlington, and half Casertana, both great options! The food came out pretty promptly. The drinks were also strong in a good way. They give complimentary bread, which was nice to eat since we were all really hungry. Service was very helpful and great! The restaurant is a bit congested but it has the vibe of an old diner, which I liked. Their Happy Hour deals are great too, so would love to come back and try other dishes.

I love this place, probably my favorite Neapolitan pizzeria in DMV. I like the variety of options, good sides and desserts as well. The staff is also very cheerful. They have specials on everyday with some days with half off pizzas. Check the website for details.

I was able to walk in without a reservation with a party of four for a girls dinner. We were graded with a cozy family, friendly environment that had no frills and was low-key but still a little upscale. They have a nice outdoor patio as well and plenty of parking. The food is really authentic and feels like you are in Italy. The pizzas, especially feature amazing mozzarella Cheese and fresh tomatoes. I highly recommend the pesto burrata pizza. It was very unique and tasty.

This pizza tastes just like the pizza we had in Naples. Crust is light and chewy. Sauce, cheese and toppings were perfect. Highly recommend if you like Neapolitan pizza. Rated #32 of the top 50 pizza spots for 2025 but better than ones we've had higher on the list.

The pizza here was ok, but I was surprised at the expensive cake fee. At other restaurants, I don't have to pay an insane cake fee and they will store the cake, add candles, cut the cake, and provide plates and utensils. Here, they charge way too much just to store the cake. The pizza was nothing special, so the service really soiled my experience.

The secret is to ask for a well done pizza so the crust is not soggy. I'll give them a solid four stars now.

When I had ordered previously, I always found that my pie was not ready and I had to wait. Each time, I waited a bit longer, and each time, still not ready. So, this time, ordered my pizza before 9:00 PM and did not depart immediately -- but instead waited a full 20 minutes before even walking there slow. When I arrived, the pizza was..... still not ready. It occurs to me that this shop is situated in a time zone that is somehow TEN MINUTES BEHIND the time your order is due. The guy says "five minutes." In any case, I stand, I wait.... and I.... wait some more. It wasn't five minutes. Lots of workers standing. Nearing the 9:30 mark, someone finally says "have you been helped?" And whadda ya know? Found out the reason I was still waiting - BECAUSE MY PIE WAS SITTING THERE THE WHOLE DAMN TIME! Getting cold. She says "we're just getting that cut up." But they weren't - it was already cut. They took one of their old pies off the rack and slid it right into a box. It wasn't in the oven. I could feel it was cold, but yes, I took it and went home. I can't say you couldn't eat it but.... it wasn't good. We did eat some of it, but only after baking it in my own oven. Good thing I ordered in advance, eh? If you are going to do a take out here, my advice would be to skip ordering altogether, and just go there and get the slices yourself. They won't be too fresh, but at least it will be fast. Better yet, go across the street to Quincy Hall, (or over to Wise Guys) where they will bake the pizza to order and have it hot and ready when you arrive. Keep in mind here they charge $32 for a pizza, full price only. NOT worth it, won't be back, do not recommend.

The complimentary focaccia bread they give you is also great (pro tip - dip it in the red sauce that comes with the arancini). For our mains, we got their signature linguini cardinale and the recommended seafood carbonara. Both the pastas were cooked to perfect al dente and were very large portions with lots of seafood. The linguini cardinale deserves every single praise as each bite is rich and indulgent. We ended with the strawberry cheesecake which was good, but very standard.
