The Detroit style pizza from little beast is pretty decent. They have a several options on the menu or you can create your own. I did the the OG pepperoni pizza. The pizza came out fairly quickly and the pizza is cut into 4 slices. Two people could easily share one pizza. I was only able to finish one slice.

Yummy yummy in my tummy! Come to little beast for Detroit/regular style pizza. Many vegan options and they have a great selection of menu items that are not pizza! We shared a watermelon salad and the Detroit Tigers (added pickled onions). Watermelon salad was refreshing on this hottttt day. Pizza had a 10/10 cheese pull!! Close by a parking garage! This is a takeout or sit down casual restaurant. The service was very nice and also offered us oregano, Parmesan, and chili flakes shakers for our pizza. Takeout boxes are cardboard and you can pay w Apple Pay at the table.

Omggggggg. We made the drive once Hubby said "hey this place looks dope." Great concept and even greater food. I love the back story how the owner incorporated his "little beasts." Check out their site. The food and drinks were fire. The best Cesar salad I've ever had. We had the Motown - Detroit style pizza and the Peppy Boy DC deck pizza. The Motown gave me memories of my favorite stromboli from Philly. Go Birds! The Peppy Boy had the perfect ratio of to cheese, pepperonis, and dough. The dough/crust is mouth watering and super light with a nice crunch. How great to have everything made in house. 1Girl really loves that. Long story short this place is a must go to and Shout-out to David. He was amazing! Little Beast... 1girl3Spoons approved! P.S. WE CRUSHED THE FOOD BEFORE I GOT PICTURES LOL.

I am so happy to have another Little Beast in NOVA. We miss having one in Reston but this Falls Church location is awesome! The location is perfect with the Whole Foods parking garage attached. The staff was so friendly, attentive and knew their menu. The pizza is the best Detroit pizza in NOVA hands down. Caesar salad and meatballs were outstanding. Meatballs are my litmus test for Italian food and Little Beast does them well,(Stellina still at the top) but man these were really really good the whipped ricotta delicious! Do not miss Little Beast Falls Church it's a gem

Fantastic addition to the neighborhood. The interior is bright and very chill. They have reasonably priced drinks and the pizza is phenomenal. We found our waiter to be very attentive and knowledgeable about the menu. If you're looking for a neighborhood spot with great pizza, this is it!

First day of their soft opening and excited for this addition to the neighborhood! Located in the same complex of Whole Foods. Definitely need to check this place out. Great start with warm friendly welcomes and great potential of a solid flavorful menu. Known for their Detroit style of airy crust and crispy pizzas. A strong early impression and looking forward to seeing them hit their stride. Garage parking is available as it's shared with the apartment and surrounding businesses. Enjoy!

Meatball appetizer

What they got right: dough for Detroit pizza crust and focaccia are on point. Stamp of approval from MI hubs. Yeasty, mature and deeply flavorful, the edges crisp and oh so cheesy What they got wrong: address and thereby navigation was off. Listed as W Broad street, the google led us to the same complex as the Irish pub. It's actually E broad street, right after the Whole Foods. Hubs pepperoni was brick cheesy and legit. The other options were either too big or too fussy ( pickled onions, relish, bbq pork) My pizza wc I req anchovies on, came back e some pale vinegary fish wc seemed more like pickled herring than s as anchovies. I ended up canceling the pizza and opted for the meatball app instead. That was just ok. Service was good and he handled all the issues professionally and kindly. I see this more popular w the young family w kids, being able to feed and amuse them w the cartoony decor while having a glass of wine. Hubs liked it, I unfortunately would not return nor recommend.

Dear born Detroit style (the only way to do it at little beasts)

Nothing quite like spending $6 on a stale, dry old cookie. Overpriced for what we got.

Delivery review ahead…read more I was craving a really good breakfast sandwich and this place delivered just that! When I talk about quality sandwiches, Semicolon cafe wins! The packaging was handled with care so both of my sandwiches arrived nice and hot. I ordered the B.E.L.T and a grilled cheese. The B.E.L.T was a conversation starter, the bread was buttery and smooth-melts right in your mouth after each bite. The egg with corn, never tried that combo but honey, it was fantastic!!!! The bacon was quite generous and prepared with the perfect crisp and the lettuce and tomatoes were fresh, complementing the sandwich. The sauce on top was a shining star! So much flavor spread evenly throughout the sandwich. My boyfriend loved his grilled cheese sandwich which came with bacon and spinach. Definitely glad that I found this place! I'll order again and this time I want to try their lattes.

It's simple, really good and one of those easy sandwiches to grab when you're in a time crunch. Parking can definitely be hit or miss since it's one of those retail spots tucked into an apartment community, which seems to be super common here in Falls Church. I also tried the chocolate bingsoo once, but unfortunately by the time it got to me it was pretty melted. I'd be willing to give it another try though, especially if I'm picking up my food in person next time. The couple of times I've gone, the lady working behind the counter has been very nice and helpful in her recommendations. Overall, it's a small, quaint little spot with plenty of outdoor seating, which would be really nice on a good weather day. I'll definitely keep coming back for that grilled cheese.

I expected to come in and go up to a cashier to place an order, but at Lazy Mike's a young gentleman directed me to a table where another young guy took my order and waited on me. Service was excellent. The restaurant was busy with all the tables taken. The cheesesteak comes default with chips, but I upgraded to the latkes. The cheesesteak was served hot, fresh and tasty. The latkes were good and made even better by the sour cream and applesauce that came with them. There's outside seating in what looks like a shipping container. I notice that they have several flavors of their homemade ice cream that I will try on my next visit, because there will certainly be another visit.

I'd been craving a cheesesteak and figured I'd finally give this place a shot. Why I'd never been…read morebefore is beyond me. The place was packed, almost no open seats anywhere, but I managed to grab a spot at the bar. I went with the full OG Philly and some onion rings. The sandwich was massive. I almost couldn't finish half of it, and it turns out they sell them in half portions, which is the move next time. Everything else coming out of that kitchen looked just as good, and I'm already planning to work my way through the rest of the menu. Part of the fun is the room itself. It's a proper New York deli that's been around since 1975, with caricatures of famous faces painted across the walls and a "Barred Conversation List" chalkboard that's worth a read while you wait. I really enjoy places that look and feel like this. Worth the stop.

EDITED (see below)…read more WAY overpriced. Reuben was good, but meat lacked seasoning. Seriously?! At these prices!!! It was scorching hot when it comes out. Never had to wait for a deli sandwich to cool down before eating. Really disliked having to stare at my sandwich at a deli of all places, waiting for it to cool while I'm starving and the lunch clock is ticking. I got places to go. The thin bread falls apart too easily and combined with the pizza-commercial-like cheese pull after each bite with cheese hanging from my mouth to the sandwich, it was functionally very MESSY and difficult to sandwich to eat. I don't like eating sandwiches with a fork. And dont get me started with $10 small sized milkshake. It was an absolutely average milkshake. With a thin straw easily clogged. These prices are INSANE!!! I knew the prices were high going in, but I thought the quality and portions would match. There is a significant disparity between them, and I should be getting twice the amount of sandwich for these prices. Lastly the whole flow is very weird. The interactive website-menu is a disaster and confusing. It took over 10 minutes online just trying to find the menu before I arrived thinking I'd order at front counter and instead was told to take a seat. This really doesnt call for a waitress, an unnecessary markup (tips) to an already insanely expensive meal. Its like pseudo restaurant but its really just a deli sandwich shop. EDIT to owners reply: For a deli sandwich to be piping hot is unnecessary and its not a good thing. It suggests poorly trained cooks. It was a warning for other customers so they don't burn their tongue like I did on a freaking deli sandwich. Instead of leaning into the free customer feedback, they chose to brag about their flaws. So the problems are admitted features, not flaws, and further supports my evaluation. "Tiny portions relative to price." Does that make it more clear? While owner glosses over the huge portion sizes in photos on website/menu that are false advertising, and photos were only reason I thought the high prices might be justified before coming here. I only saw the actual (tiny) portion size when my food was delivered that I realized menu photos online had deceived me and the prices were insane for that reason. $21+ for a 1/4 lb half deli sandwich!?!? Insane! And centimeter-thick bread slices are also considered tiny portions. Nobody disputed weight of meat. Strawman. And it wasnt obvious the weight of meat on the already mentioned difficult to read website. Nobody's reading the fine print on a menu!! If it wasn't clear for me its likely unclear for others. should not have a cheese pull that requires utensils on a sandwich. Should not need utensils to eat a sandwich. Deli sandwiches shouldn't burn your mouth. And nobody disputed your sandwiches weren't "cooked fresh". Strawman.

I always place orders on mobile, though, and I will say service here was fast. The parking lot at Birch and Broad is also a bit of a nightmare, but that isn't their fault. Staff is friendly. My main issue was the sandwiches themselves. They had almost no toppings or sauce. Got two basically plain and dry turkey and cheese sandwiches. Way stingier than other locations or even Subway. I paid at the register and went to get a drink from the fountain. When I turned around, I didn't see my sandwich. I waited a few seconds then asked where my sandwich was. The lady who rang me up looked around cluelessly, like some sort of magic trick was performed. The guy whose only job was to wrap sandwiches said nothing with a weird smile on his face. The guy who made my sandwich, I know he made it, I saw him do it... was confused because he certainly handed off the sandwich down the line. I could barely understand the cashier say they'd make me another one. How does a sandwich just vanish? Coulda been them putting my sandwich in one of the to-go bags, coulda been a random overzealous customer, but it was literally seconds, and it was gone. Anyway. Sandwich: This is the worst experience I've had with this chain, so location makes a difference. Now that I am thinking about it, I may have gone here once before and wondered what the hype was all about... having had it in Maine, it's a world of difference. Tasted like older product, and bummed that it was way below par here. Wanted something quick, easy, and familiar, but there are many other lunch options around.
