After a bad experience at another electrolysis place in town I reached out to Nataliya. She was very thorough with her questions and explanation of everything on my first consult. I've been going through the process of electrolysis with her for 6 months now. I have a lot of hair growth due to PCOS causing a hormonal imbalance, and it has caused me embarrassment and made me self conscious for years. I am seeing less and less regrowth every visit with Nataliya and I am so thankful for the progress! I hope to have a 1 year photo to post (if I become brave enough) to compare then to now. The Biomat is awesome and is such a great treat for me after working on my feet in a warehouse all day. It provides a warmth and relaxation among other health benefits! I have been seeing her for a couple months for a round of laser hair removal and she does a fabulous job. She is funny, bubbly and makes me feel super comfortable, which I think means a lot when you genuinely like the person wielding the laser gun that is inflicting you with pain. The ambiance of Alaska Body Aesthetics is pretty nice too. Although, I'm usually in and out of there within 20 minutes. Just enough time to swing in on my lunch break! I tried to call to see about the cancellation and was told they are with a customer and can I text them. The owner texted back saying they were short staffed and other excuses for the cancellation. I inquired how can they make this right because I was upset about the whole situation. I was told they gave me an alternate time and I declined it and have a good day. I made an appointment for an eyelash lift & tint, eyebrow tint, and lip wax. When I arrived I…read moreoverheard a conversation between the owner and technician that made me feel uncomfortable with getting these services done. It sounded like they were using some expired product or something along those lines, and that this person who was to do my eyelashes was inexperienced. When I tried to tell the technician I changed my mind about the appointment, the owner came out and convinced me to go through even though I wanted to cancel. That was a big mistake. She ended up performing the eyelash lift without asking if I had any contacts in, which I did, and I ended up getting a chemical burn on my eye balls and had a severe allergic reaction to the products used. When the technician was doing the eye brow wax she also kept going over the same spots over and over again which was very painful. She almost didn't even do the lip wax that I paid for, and I had to remind her. I ended up needing to go to urgent care 2 times and luckily my vision was not affected although I had a blood vessel burst in my eye which filled my eyeball with blood and had scabby painful eyebrows for the next 2-3 weeks. Terrible terrible experience. At least the owner refunded my money, but I would recommend going somewhere else.
