She was very kind and accommodating when I came in as I was running late misjudging my travel time from Eagle River. Very calm and non-judgmental which put me at ease. Her space is very clean and also very soothing. I love my lashes and received the compliments that they looked natural and fit my face and eye shape. I made the mistake of both using Groupon to have this lash service done to try them out and then using the service at this buisness. I purchased the full set with a refill within 2 weeks. When I got there Liza informed me I didn't purchase the extreme lashes but the basic package even though I purchased the $89 dollar package a few weeks ago. I asked her how much more would it be to get more lashes and she said an additional $120 and that she "didn't have time". That what I paid for was 50-70 lashes. While placing the lashes, she didn't prep them after I washed because she said my lashes were already dry. I asked her how much the non-Groupon price for each was. $250 for this set pictured here and $350-400 for the "Extreme set". I also asked her if she was placing (grouping) more than one lash on each of my lashes, to which she replied "don't worry about it...that they are silk". That it would "look good" and that she is "giving me more than I paid for". I stayed to finish getting them on because I didn't feel she would reimburse me and didn't want to walk out with one eye done. I used to get my lashes done at Amazing Lash regularly in Texas so I feel I understand the process and how they should look and fair pricing. Things are understandably more expensive here. I don't mind paying but this whole experience was absolutely not worth any part of this. I feel this service is grossly overpriced, Liza the lash stylist is less than professional and this is not worth your time or money. Don't waste your time. read more

I went to Touch and Glow Studio because I had purchased a groupon for lash extensions and a free fill. I easily made an appointment and got the lashes, and as I have never received lashes before, as soon as I opened my eyes they burned and I also noticed it took about 35 minutes, once done I did not receive a book or any info on what to do for after care or if something bad were to happen, nothing. I blew it off as I did not know any different and decided to go in for my free fill 2 and half weeks later, during this time I have been using eyedrops the whole time I had them on thinking I had dry eyes due to travel (flew out of state) and I have a lot of allergies. I had a family emergency come up at the time for my fill so I called to reschedule and she said she would call me soon, as she never did and I texted a few times after that and it made it very difficult to re schedule my appointment for the fill. So eventually I had to go on the website to do it and pay the $1 fee, once I did i sent her the screen shot of my new appointment and she finally responded back saying she couldn't do the time that was open on her schedule app and she wouldn't be back in town by then so she can do 4pm that day. When I finally went in for the fill, she didn't remember me and had to look back at her messages and accidentally double booked 4pm. She squeezed me in before the other client and got me out in about 15 minutes. The next day I had a major allergic reaction to the glue and the owner did little to nothing to help, I sent her pictures of my swollen eyes and she called me. She didn't direct me to do anything as I was telling her what I googled to do. They were so painful that I ended up tearing them all out later that night along with my natural lashes. The next morning I told the owner what I did and sent photos and told her I would be by on Monday for her to remove any excess glue if any left. Once I arrived Monday she did nothing and said the glue was all out and it really wasn't, there was still glue in my lashes up to two weeks later since i've seen another lash person and they had to take it out. Since then, I have gotten my eyelashes done by someone else and I am not having these symptoms at all, no burning and she took about 2 hours with me and I received much better service as of what to do if this happens again. I get allergies happen to different glues but I had no idea what to do and barley any help as well. I do not recommend Touch and Glow Studio for lashes. read more
