Everything about this salon is spot on. The owner Rebecca never forgets your name so you feel so welcomed. They have several services they offer in a clean/pretty space. The people here are so kind. I also get my hair done by Kyle Styles and he is so darn good with his skills that you walk out having a new friend. Oh and they have coffee/tea and snack.. where can you get this. read more

I made an appointment for an eyelash lift & tint, eyebrow tint, and lip wax. When I arrived I overheard a conversation between the owner and technician that made me feel uncomfortable with getting these services done. It sounded like they were using some expired product or something along those lines, and that this person who was to do my eyelashes was inexperienced. When I tried to tell the technician I changed my mind about the appointment, the owner came out and convinced me to go through even though I wanted to cancel. That was a big mistake. She ended up performing the eyelash lift without asking if I had any contacts in, which I did, and I ended up getting a chemical burn on my eye balls and had a severe allergic reaction to the products used. When the technician was doing the eye brow wax she also kept going over the same spots over and over again which was very painful. She almost didn't even do the lip wax that I paid for, and I had to remind her. I ended up needing to go to urgent care 2 times and luckily my vision was not affected although I had a blood vessel burst in my eye which filled my eyeball with blood and had scabby painful eyebrows for the next 2-3 weeks. Terrible terrible experience. At least the owner refunded my money, but I would recommend going somewhere else. read more

Facial was the service requested and it was amazing. Very comfortable and peaceful time.

Wonderful service. Attention to detail customer service is outstanding was interested in what my needs were and addressed them

I meant to post sooner!! I got a legs and arms waxed here and the guy literally ripped up my skin. I felt like he didn't know what he was doing. He kept waxing over and over in the same spot. I took the pictures a few hours after getting the waxes. This was the worst wax experience and not worth the money I spent. If you want to have your skin ripped open....come here!! read more

I forgot the girls name who waxed me but she did great and I'm hoping to get waxed by her again, she's the one with a pixie haircut and she's part French- part Hawaiian she told me. I didn't have any bruising or bleeding! She's the best in my opinion. read more

Enjoyed my relaxing time here getting a facial. My hubby commented on how great my face looked and considered getting a facial himself. The table was warm and comfy. I had a blanket keeping me nice and toasty and the aesthetician was informative and attentive. I am looking to getting more services from this place. read more

LOVE LOVE LOOOOVE! First time here and I loved it! It has such a great relaxing atmosphere I could literally just live there. Had an appointment for wax eyebrows and tint with Erica. She was completely honest and told me I wouldn't be a good candidate for eyebrow tint since my eyebrows are already dark. Loved and appreciated the honesty from her. Definitely a place I would recommend! read more

Face Forward - cute stuff I got from the spa - Skin Care Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

I have been going to Rebecca for years for my Brazilian waxing. I have always felt comfortable and actually look forward to it. The table is always warm, and the process is quick. I was nervous the first time, but Rebecca was so comforting because she talked me through it. I will always go to Rebecca! read more

I loved the atmosphere and the staff. Everything was cute and comfortable. However, I did not love the brow wax I received. When asked what I wanted to be done, I said "I'm not sure, I just know there is a lot of hair that I want gone". The esthetician responded that she would go for a more natural look. I said "I'm not sure what that means but I trust you, that's why you do this and not me" At the end, it felt barely different. I was asked if I liked it and I said I'd like more taken off because otherwise I'll be doing it in the car after my appointment and I don't wanna do that... she laughed with me and had no problem taking more off. The problem was, it really didn't feel like a difference had been made after that and I did not want to continually have to say "no, that's still not good enough", because I didn't want to seem confrontational... Needless to say, I ended up finishing them in the car anyway. I attached photo's of before FF, after FF and after working on them on my own. Again, it's not against the staff as a person, she was very kind and I'm sure if I told her 5 times in a row that I wanted more done, she would. I just think the experience would have been more enjoyable had I not needed to do that. What I would say is, if you're someone knowledgeable on this sort of thing and know exactly what you want going in, it will be perfect because the staff is more than willing. However, if you're like me and have no idea what needs done, I would say this isn't the place to go. read more

I've returned a few times for more services. I'm happy with the continued visits and I have not had anymore issues with the wax. Honestly, it may just be my horribly sensitive skin type. I do still wish they had threading as well, but it's just not as widely practiced in the area which is fine. I highly recommend a visit here. The location is so lovely as well as the service. read more

Legit one of my favorite places in Anchorage. Ever since I have started coming to this location I have been with Ericka and I love her! She's so personal and really makes you feel comfortable the second you show up. I always get a Brazilian when I come in but today I had my first facial and it was amazing. I love this place. Can't wait to come back next month! read more

I'm considering flying from Seattle up to Anchorage just for my waxes. In the years of painful and traumatic experiences with Brazilian waxes, today's experience was not only great, It's was painless. I'm telling y'all, she's probably the best in the country. read more

I've been going to Rebecca for my Brazilian wax for about several years now and I will continue to give her, and Face Foreward in general, my business because I firmly believe they are the best in town. Rebecca has the attention to detail and quality that has not been matched. Not to mention their customer service is so responsive and welcoming; Rebecca is always willing to work with my schedule and fit me in and there have been times where I've had to schedule last minute and she has been able to accommodate me every time. Face Foreward also has high standards when it comes to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety so I know I'm in good hands. I highly trust and recommend their services! read more

I cannot say enough great things things about this facility! Nichole has been doing my lash extensions for several months now and I couldn't be happier. I was going to another location and was extremely dissatisfied. The lady did not listen at all to what I wanted and I ended up with clown lashes when I said I wanted something natural. Nichole saw me even on her days off to help me transition to a more natural look. She went over different options with me as far as length and curl. Great customer service! Thanks Nicole! Great facials and service and the people who work there are amazing, kinda pricey but it almost feels like your getting what you pay for.

I have been seeing Rebecca for the last 8 years on the regular for various waxing. Always meticulous, extremely knowledgeable, very professional, she delivers quality services time after time. It is hard to get in with her, but I always schedule my next appointment at the check out. And if the schedule gets messed up by either one of us, she is always makes her best effort to see me ASAP. I am a loyal customer for life. read more

Rebecca is amazing - the reviews are true. There was a little scheduling misunderstanding (on my part!) but Rebecca was quick to remedy the situation. I stumbled on her shop when my usual wax gal was out of town, so I made an appointment. She did a fantastic job, very quick and thorough. What I loved most about the appointment is the wealth of knowledge she has regarding skincare regimes and products. Not only that, her skin looks flipping amazing. I mean, when someone with that great of skin is talking about skincare - you listen! If I do return to my other wax lady i will NO DOUBT be going back to Rebecca for her facial treatments. read more

Such a great experience at Face Forward with Rebecca. I wasn't sure what facial treatment I needed but Rebecca looked over my skin, gave great recommendations and set to work! Following a very thorough - and much needed - facial, she gave me detailed instructions on how to continue my care at home to achieve the best results. Five days later, my skin is looking amazing and so clear! I am so pleased with the advice and the treatment - I will definitely be going back! Plus, Rebecca keeps up a great small talk the entire time. I learned so much about skincare, sunscreen, and what our skin really needs listening. Thank you for everything. This is the first time in over a year that my face looks as great as I feel. No more clogged pores, no more awkward blemishes. Thank you, thank you! read more

Best bikini wax and Brazilian wax I've ever had. The ambiance is very relaxing and tasteful. Staff is extremely knowledgeable and accommodating. Rebecca was amazing! She made a mistake in her calendar so I had to wait, but she gave me a free brow and underarm wax to make up for it. I was nervous because it was my first wax, but she was so personable it took my mind off the pain. I will be coming back! read more

I had never had a facial before and went to Rebecca at Face Forward on the high recommendation of a friend of mine that I work with. I wasn't sure what type of facial to have since this was my first time and I looked to Rebecca to help educate me on what type of skincare routine I could start before my wedding coming up in October. WOW does Rebecca know what she is talking about! The facial was incredibly relaxing, the extractions weren't as relaxing- but I feel SO much better after getting all of the gunk out- I can really feel the difference! One aspect of the experience that I really loved was that Rebecca suggested products for me to maintain my skincare routine that can be bought less expensively at a place like Target. I really appreciated Rebecca's honest opinion - and attention to my skincare needs, rather than trying to merely up-sell me on products. I am happy to find a routine that I can easily maintain and won't break the bank. My face looks and feels great now, and I highly look forward to my next facial in a few months where I can see how well I have been doing on the upkeep :) Thanks Rebecca! read more

Moved to AK from Cali last summer, I'm dying to find a place gives good Brazilian wax. Gotta say I'm so glad I found the deal on groupon. And Rebecca didn't let me down. She uses hard wax which doesn't require cloth stripes, and makes less irritation on skin. She recommends at least four~ five weeks between visits which is different from other places that wants me to return for follow up every three weeks. Today is my third one, (5 weeks after my last visit) its quick, painless and VERY clean. read more
