I've had several visits now and each time I have the best experience. Not only is the spa just lovely and cozy and the cutest log cabin with a beautiful sunroom, the massages are incredible. My most recent visit Selah worked on me and was absolutely incredible, she really listened to what I had to say and checked in several times to ensure I was comfortable. I would definitely recommend this place for the best massages in Anchorage! Julian at the front desk is so calming and helpful and so easy to work with over text or call too, plus you always get a sweet treat at the end! read more

Ravens Nest Spa - Day Spas Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

Always a wonderful relaxing place to visit when we are in Anchorage. Kylie and Selah are the best! I will always go here when I am in town. Highly recommend read more

Selah and Cat.....that's all you need to know. My husband surprised me by booking a couples' massage at our favorite spot, Ravens Nest. 90 minutes of sheer bliss. Selah was my therapist and I was delighted to see her, having had her before and she is by far the best therapist to ever work on this old lady. Cat we had not met before but my husband said she was straight up amazing, finding knots of tension and relieving aches and pains he didn't know he had on top of taking care of his problem spots. Both ladies were excellent at checking in on us often to make sure pressures were fine, we were comfortable, and so on. Another truly delightful and delicious experience. read more

Great 10/10 really recommend this spot me and my husband got a couples massage for our anniversary. Cat and Nora were so nice and amazing.

I got the Aurora Massage Package today that included a body scrub, a 90-minute hot stone massage, and a wrap. I got there 30 minutes before my appointment and was able to get a sauna treatment added to my package. The front desk was very friendly, took my coat, and offered me water or tea. The spa is quite cozy and so zen! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was able to start relaxing. My therapist was Amanda. She took me upstairs to my massage room, was very clear about instructions, and explained what the massage package entailed. I expressed that I was hurting because I've slipped and fell 3 times over the past 2 days, and I would appreciate it if she would give the problem areas a little more attention. She absolutely did! The massage was amazing! Thank you, Amanda, for fixing my lower back! After my package, I was instructed to the sauna where you have a beautiful view of the outdoors! I loved that I never felt rushed; I was always addressed by my name; I was given an experience and not just a quick treatment. I don't live here, but I plan on coming back to Alaska and will definitely be back to Raven's Nest Spa! read more

I called to reserve an appointment for a 90 minute couple's massage on Saturday July 6th, 2024 @ 11am. I called to make this reservation on June 13th, 2024. I got no confirmation call or follow up call or email. I flew in from out of town for the weekend to have this service. Appointment was not in the system when I showed up and could not get the service I booked three weeks ago. I don't have enough time this weekend to reschedule before flying back. (Which was all that was offered in response) I was made to feel embarrassed by the receptionist as if I didn't know what I was talking about because she didn't believe I made the appointment. I know I called and made the reservation. I have emailed the business screen shots of the call/date/number for the manager/owner to review. So very disappointed with the customer service involving this experience. ONE STAR. read more

Heard great things about this spa and decided to give it a try. I had booked a couple's massage and it was a great experience and I would definitely return. The environment is relaxing & staff was great. Booking the appointment was super easy as well. Would definitely recommend :) read more

Wow!! My very first massage! It was really good. I highly recommend this spa. We had an appointment for 2:30 Saturday. You have to make an appointment, they do message back on Yelp but they want you to call. We got there early and went in because we both had to use the bathroom. The receptionist took us back to the sun room where we sat and waited in a massage chair and a foot massager. She brought us glasses of water and we waited for 25 ish minutes. They had us fill out a little questionnaire like have you had a massage, if so you want it light, medium, or deep(extra $15) my lady new I hadn't had a massage before and it wall felt amazing. We had a couples massage so two therapists came and got us the. We went upstairs. They explained to each of us the technique she was using and that if I was comfortable to take off all your undergarments so I get the full massage, if you leave your underwear on she has to go around it. I started face down and there was essential oils in there. I was able to pull my mask down from my nose or else it would have been too hard to breathe being face down and with the oils. She did full body massage, focused on little areas when she found a hard spot, put warm towels on our feet, and used coconut oil. I turned over on my back for probly 15 minutes out of the 60 and put my mask back on. Darn Covid. Worth noting a couples massage was a minimum of 60 minutes and it was the regular rate plus an extra $25 for couples. So $115 x2 plus 25. Their website has all the information on everything they do. I had checked out a few other massage places and this one was a little bit more but it is a very nice place. They also take your credit card info when you make an appointment in case there's a now show or cancelation fee under 24 hour notice. They do not keep it on file to pay or anything later. The Ravens nest spa is on jewel lake road, it is a log house with a downstairs area with a fireplace and couches, you can have tea and hang out when you're down. You can also request the infrared sauna for $10 ahead of your massage when you book. We opted out. They also sell some things like oils and lotions, I got a bath bomb from Denali dreams soap company. $7. Husband has gotten massages before from his chiropractor but he said this one was really good. It's not just a massage it's more a spa experience with all the little extras. I will definitely want to come back to this place for a birthday or anniversary. read more

Received the 90 minute massage for a $180. Went in just to have a nice massage. Came out with a severe pain in my neck from the massage that I received. So now I need to have another massage to relieve the pain that I received from them. Never would I go back or recommend. I asked for a medium massage. I don't know what she was doing, it was terrible. read more

We had an outstanding couple's massage here, which I scheduled with just two days notice. $265 total for one hour, which I found to be pretty reasonable. They do tack on an extra $15/person if you request deep tissue. The front office staff, who I suspect to be the owners, are very friendly and welcoming. We were offered tea upon arrival and asked to take our shoes off. We sat on the comfortable leather couch until it was time to go upstairs. The relaxation room was very inviting, as was the outside of the building. The massage room had the perfect amount of heat and darkness. The deep tissue was just the right amount of pressure I like. I do not recall being offered a robe, which may be the only missing touch to this place. If you want to blow some money, they have lots of candles, soaps and various other massage-related items for sale downstairs. I will be back. read more

My massage therapist was Kylee. She does an excellent job of explaining the services to be done, keeping you draped modestly and performing healing therapies with her hands. I was in a lot of pain when I got there and she provided me with an ice pack. This helped my inflamed areas of my back feel soothed. I got the seaweed brushed on me and it was a delightful soft feeling and it was so soothing. I was feeling peaceful and invigorated. After I was wrapped in plastic and heated blankets I felt snug like a burrito and prepared for my scalp treatment. I typically talk a lot during my massage. The only time I was quiet was during this treatment. The essential oils were calming & Kylee's hands were working magic on my scalp. I felt replenished and soothed through her touch. My mother has passed away now 7 years. She used to rub my scalp and give me comfort. I told Kylee that I felt like her hands were the tools to allow me to feel my mother comforting me through her. It was mesmerizing, loving and beautiful. I'm grateful to share that with her. I really enjoyed the shower. It's nice & toasty and the Loma products were invigorating & smelled so good along with the shower spritz. The towels are plush and warm. The robes fit great and feel soft. I love the tile in the shower and the stone work. It's really nice and inviting. I loved talking with Kylee. She is an excellent listener. I felt like I got physical healing and emotional healing. Plus I enjoyed talking about animals. Especially dogs. Last thing is I love the truffle at the end. It's a really nice treat!!! And sitting in the sun room with the foot / calf massager is a nice way to decompress with either tea or water. I love the ambiance here! Great job Ravens Nest! I will be back!! read more

came here after we got married. We got a couples massage. Still during Covid but they did an amazing job. Everything was Covid compliant clean and just all-around nice to be there. A couples massage was amazing. I hate to say it but I want to come back again and again. Don't tell my wife this could get expensive. I know that we will return and if anything I will be getting her gift cards for her birthday. So she can come back. Definitely a good experience happy to support local families. And a local business. read more

A message with hot stones. CBD oil and Indian head massage. Wonderful and therapeutic.

Ravens Nest is super cute when you walk in. Also looks like it would be really cozy when it's cold out. I got the 90 minute massage with Raven and it was fantastic. The pressure was perfect and I liked the variety of different lotions as well. I know they also have some additional add ons at a very reasonable price. read more

Ravens Nest Spa - The lobby - Day Spas Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

I loved Ravens nest! We did a couples massage for Valentine's Day and it was great! It was still snowy so they didn't have enough parking and we have a huge truck, but we eventually got in and really enjoyed our massages. Their therapists are magical! We even bought some Alaska made chocolate and lip balm! read more

We had such a great experience at Ravens Nest Spa. Neither my husband or myself had ever had professional massages before and they have exceeded our expectations. First, we got to sit in the sauna and relax in some massage chairs while we waited on our appointment. Then, we went into the massage room and got comfortable. The ladies there all have so much professionalism and want you to feel comfortable. I will definitely recommend and be going back soon! We just had a couples massage so it was full body. They will emphasize spots you ask them to as well. They also have massage add ons. Only open by appointment though read more

Start to finish a pretty great experience. Parking-plentiful. Main area-clean, relaxing off the bat. Tea and water. Oils and such for sale. Staff-very nice and informative. Massage-pretty good for the most part. We had two separate 60-min sessions. I had deep tissue, he had the regular one. And we both had the CBD oil add on. My massage was great! Kylee asked all the right questions, used great pressure, and made me feel incredibly relaxed. His massage left some to be desired. He said that he was mostly in pain from the pressure and that the therapist focused on the wrong areas. But he'd try it again! read more

Omg Kylee was amazing!!! I consider myself to be a massage snob, as I used to be a masseur myself. I have probably overly high expectations. Plus I never get just a relationship massage. I only get deep tissue because my back is severely knotted up. So I took a chance to get a massage while on vacation and so glad I did. Kylee had wonderful deep pressure, but was also gentle and it was so blissfully good. I want another!! read more

Great service. Super friendly front desk staff. Reasonable priced massage services. We got couples massage with extra scalp and foot massage treatments. It was just an amazing experience. Super clean facility. They have sauna section as well. They also have a section for oils, soaps and handmade knitwear items. The prices for those are also very reasonable. Great service, we will definitely come back. read more

Amazing! I wish I could give 6 stars. This place literally made life easier after going. I felt like a happier person. I felt more energetic. I didn't have a built up stiff neck any more. 110% recommend. Yes, they may upcharge for a few things but it's so worth it and you really do get what you pay for. I have absolutely no regrets giving them my money for what I got. Thank you ravens nest. My body feels so much better. read more

This place is amazing. I booked the "Winter Warmup" with Talea and I cannot even begin to describe how great she was! The best massage I have ever had. I can't recommend her or this place enough. As a first timer, I was nervous not just because it was my first time but I didn't know what to expect. Once I walked in, I was greeted and was offered a nice cup of tea or orange water if I liked (I ended up going with tea). The atmosphere was very relaxing and calming. They walked me to the back room which was a gorgeous cozy sun room as if it came out of Pinterest. I definitely took some photos for my future dream home. 10 minutes or so before my appointment, I was greeted with a warm smile by my wonderful massage therapist Kylee. I was getting the 'Ravens Nest massage'. For the duration of my massage, Kylee made me feel very comfortable! She was very professional and kind. I loved having her as my therapist as she did an amazing job. Her hands felt like the hands of an angel. She asked me what level of pressure I would like which was nice At the start of the massage, she gave me a summary of what was going to happen, and how she was going to do it which I greatly appreciated... I would 100/10 recommend Kylee for the future guests that head over to Ravens Nest. For my first time having a professional massage, this blew me out of the water but left me nice and moisturized. read more

Ravens Nest Spa - Backroom / Sunroom : I'm obsessed - Day Spas Near Me - Anchorage, Alaska

Very relaxing experience, love the decor, and enjoyed the hot tea! The massage was very relaxing, you won't be disappointed!

I love massages, I will spend some money getting a decent one. Came here because I had read good reviews on the place. The gal that runs it is fabulous and very invested in her clients, however The massage was... okay, boo because compared to other places when you as for medium it's still pretty much perfect, here it was a little soft and when I asked for more pressure she said it would cost more. As well as I don't feel it was a full 60 minutes because she changed positions quite often and it took her a min or two to get back to where she was before, kind of frustrating. read more

Great massage- ask for "Kat"- she is excellent! Nice ambiance, very relaxing. A gem in Anchorage!

I was scheduled a special message for my birthday as a surprise. Came here for the first time and I was beyond amazed. I would definitely come back and suggest to others to come here if they are looking for a nice relaxing message. As soon as you walk in there is instant welcoming, friendly faces, offerings of tea or water. There is a sauna for your relaxation and then your message. After the message I was offered a little chocolate to top everything off. Since it was the day before my birthday I received a $10 coupon for another service within the next 30 days. Consider a relaxing time when coming here. Highly recommended!! read more

I have had over 80 massages in Anchorage, and I think this one will be my new favorite. Great ambiance and atmosphere, personalized treatment, heavy and warm linens (maybe its just me, but quality linens add to a great massage), and variety of offered services. If you don't want to hear the lobby and its various transactions from your massage room, this is the place for you. If you don't want to walk out of a spa after your 90 minutes of deep relaxation only to be greeted by downtown traffic, this is the place for you. If you don't want to feel like just another customer, like you are getting your oil changed, then this is the place for you. The owner (Sheila) took a personal interest in helping me schedule an appointment after my job got in the way. I had their signature massage, the Raven's Nest Massage, and it was on point. The services menu is full of options but has plenty of upgrades which allow you to make your experience unique. If none of that convinces you, I left there at noon on a Sunday, went to Costco (which was nuts), and when I got home I was still relaxed enough to take a nap. The 2 hours I was there effected my entire day positively. Try it for yourself! read more

Oh I wish I had found this place months ago! Madi was amazing and the hand and foot treatment divine, and the treatment smelled delicious. I still smell like toasted coconut. Everything is warm and snuggly and soft. My only issue was the incredibly loud music that is pervasive through the entire building, seems especially loud on the lobby/lounge area. read more
