Selah and Cat.....that's all you need to know. My husband surprised me by booking a couples' massage at our favorite spot, Ravens Nest. 90 minutes of sheer bliss. Selah was my therapist and I was delighted to see her, having had her before and she is by far the best therapist to ever work on this old lady. Cat we had not met before but my husband said she was straight up amazing, finding knots of tension and relieving aches and pains he didn't know he had on top of taking care of his problem spots. I got the Aurora Massage Package today that included a body scrub, a 90-minute hot stone massage, and a wrap. I got there 30 minutes before my appointment and was able to get a sauna treatment added to my package. The front desk was very friendly, took my coat, and offered me water or tea. The spa is quite cozy and so zen! From the moment I walked in, I felt like I was able to start relaxing. My therapist was Amanda. She took me upstairs to my massage room, was very clear about instructions, and explained what the massage package entailed. I expressed that I was hurting because I've slipped and fell 3 times over the past 2 days, and I would appreciate it if she would give the problem areas a little more attention. She absolutely did! The massage was amazing! Thank you, Amanda, for fixing my lower back! After my package, I was instructed to the sauna where you have a beautiful view of the outdoors! I loved that I never felt rushed; I was always addressed by my name; I was given an experience and not just a quick treatment. I called to reserve an appointment for a 90 minute couple's massage on Saturday July 6th, 2024 @ 11am. I called to make this reservation on June 13th, 2024. I got no confirmation call or follow up call or email. I flew in from out of town for the weekend to have this service. Appointment was not in the system when I showed up and could not get the service I booked three weeks ago. I don't have enough time this weekend to reschedule before flying back. (Which was all that was offered in response) I was made to feel embarrassed by the receptionist as if I didn't know what I was talking about because she didn't believe I made the appointment. I know I called and made the reservation. I have emailed the business screen shots of the call/date/number for the manager/owner to review. Received the 90 minute massage for a $180. Went in just to have a nice massage. Came out with a severe pain in my neck from the massage that I received. So now I need to have another massage to relieve the pain that I received from them. Never would I go back or recommend. I asked for a medium massage. Wow!! My very first massage! It was really good. I highly recommend this spa. We had an appointment for 2:30 Saturday. You have to make an appointment, they do message back on Yelp but they want you to call. We got there early and went in because we both had to use the bathroom. The receptionist took us back to the sun room where we sat and waited in a massage chair and a foot massager. She brought us glasses of water and we waited for 25 ish minutes. They had us fill out a little questionnaire like have you had a massage, if so you want it light, medium, or deep(extra $15) my lady new I hadn't had a massage before and it wall felt amazing. We had a couples massage so two therapists came and got us the. We went upstairs. They explained to each of us the technique she was using and that if I was comfortable to take off all your undergarments so I get the full massage, if you leave your underwear on she has to go around it. I started face down and there was essential oils in there. I was able to pull my mask down from my nose or else it would have been too hard to breathe being face down and with the oils. She did full body massage, focused on little areas when she found a hard spot, put warm towels on our feet, and used coconut oil. I turned over on my back for probly 15 minutes out of the 60 and put my mask back on. Darn Covid. Worth noting a couples massage was a minimum of 60 minutes and it was the regular rate plus an extra $25 for couples. So $115 x2 plus 25. Their website has all the information on everything they do. I had checked out a few other massage places and this one was a little bit more but it is a very nice place. They also take your credit card info when you make an appointment in case there's a now show or cancelation fee under 24 hour notice. They do not keep it on file to pay or anything later. The Ravens nest spa is on jewel lake road, it is a log house with a downstairs area with a fireplace and couches, you can have tea and hang out when you're down. You can also request the infrared sauna for $10 ahead of your massage when you book. We opted out. They also sell some things like oils and lotions, I got a bath bomb from Denali dreams soap company. $7. Husband has gotten massages before from his chiropractor but he said this one was really good. It's not just a massage it's more a spa experience with all the little extras. I will definitely want to come back to this place for a birthday or anniversary. read more

We had an outstanding couple's massage here, which I scheduled with just two days notice. $265 total for one hour, which I found to be pretty reasonable. They do tack on an extra $15/person if you request deep tissue. The front office staff, who I suspect to be the owners, are very friendly and welcoming. We were offered tea upon arrival and asked to take our shoes off. We sat on the comfortable leather couch until it was time to go upstairs. The relaxation room was very inviting, as was the outside of the building. The massage room had the perfect amount of heat and darkness. The deep tissue was just the right amount of pressure I like. I do not recall being offered a robe, which may be the only missing touch to this place. If you want to blow some money, they have lots of candles, soaps and various other massage-related items for sale downstairs. I will be back. read more

My massage therapist was Kylee. She does an excellent job of explaining the services to be done, keeping you draped modestly and performing healing therapies with her hands. I was in a lot of pain when I got there and she provided me with an ice pack. This helped my inflamed areas of my back feel soothed. I got the seaweed brushed on me and it was a delightful soft feeling and it was so soothing. I was feeling peaceful and invigorated. After I was wrapped in plastic and heated blankets I felt snug like a burrito and prepared for my scalp treatment. I typically talk a lot during my massage. The only time I was quiet was during this treatment. The essential oils were calming & Kylee's hands were working magic on my scalp. I felt replenished and soothed through her touch. My mother has passed away now 7 years. She used to rub my scalp and give me comfort. I told Kylee that I felt like her hands were the tools to allow me to feel my mother comforting me through her. It was mesmerizing, loving and beautiful. I'm grateful to share that with her. I really enjoyed the shower. It's nice & toasty and the Loma products were invigorating & smelled so good along with the shower spritz. The towels are plush and warm. The robes fit great and feel soft. I love the tile in the shower and the stone work. It's really nice and inviting. I loved talking with Kylee. She is an excellent listener. I felt like I got physical healing and emotional healing. Plus I enjoyed talking about animals. Especially dogs. Last thing is I love the truffle at the end. It's a really nice treat!!! And sitting in the sun room with the foot / calf massager is a nice way to decompress with either tea or water. I love the ambiance here! Great job Ravens Nest! I will be back!! read more

A couples massage was amazing. I hate to say it but I want to come back again and again. Don't tell my wife this could get expensive. Start to finish a pretty great experience. Parking-plentiful. Main area-clean, relaxing off the bat. Tea and water. Oils and such for sale. Staff-very nice and informative. Massage-pretty good for the most part. We had two separate 60-min sessions. I had deep tissue, he had the regular one. And we both had the CBD oil add on. My massage was great! Kylee asked all the right questions, used great pressure, and made me feel incredibly relaxed. His massage left some to be desired. I was getting the 'Ravens Nest massage'. For the duration of my massage, Kylee made me feel very comfortable! She was very professional and kind. I loved having her as my therapist as she did an amazing job. Her hands felt like the hands of an angel. She asked me what level of pressure I would like which was nice At the start of the massage, she gave me a summary of what was going to happen, and how she was going to do it which I greatly appreciated... The services menu is full of options but has plenty of upgrades which allow you to make your experience unique. If none of that convinces you, I left there at noon on a Sunday, went to Costco (which was nuts), and when I got home I was still relaxed enough to take a nap.
