Stopped by Alluring Nails as a walk-in and had a good experience overall. Even with just two techs (family-run), they were able to accommodate me without any issues, which I really appreciated. The teamwork was prompt, very friendly, and made the visit smooth from start to finish (mani/pedi). My manicure is beautiful and my cuticles are super clean--definitely shows their attention to detail. The nail quality overall was excellent--clean, precise, and exactly what I was hoping for. The massage portion could've been a little deeper, but that was on me for not speaking up at the time. Just something to keep in mind if you prefer a firmer touch. Overall, a solid spot for good quality nail care, and I'd definitely come back! read more

I was looking for a nail salon near where I was staying. After a long walk I found the salon to be closed and the owner, Twee driving off. She saw me walking to her salon door and stopped. I really wanted to give this place a full 5 stars because of how much I loved my nails but for what I got and how dirty she left the cuticle area and around my nails was not okay for how much I paid. The lady was super sweet I will not deny that, but $105 is insane for what I got and how she left around my nails. I don't think I'll be coming back due to the overpriced nails how she left all around my nails unfortunately. I definitely do not see how these could be $105, especially with how she left them. read more

Popped in for a walk in pedicure today. They got me in right away. They did an excellent job! The place was exceptionally clean, they took their time, and were very pleasant. And, because I got regular polish and not gel, they ensured it was dry before allowing me to put my socks and shoes on, massaging my legs for an extended period of time. Highly recommend and will be back. read more

As someone who never gets manicures, I appreciated being able to walk in without a clue and have a nail tech easily work with me. I hate my hands so having my nails shaped to make my fingers look better was a relief. I just needed something simple to treat myself and that's exactly what I got. This place is horrible. First off, the fumes in this place are so strong. I'm fairly sure I left high as a kite. No air. Kids buzzing around. Vibe is dark and drab. Acrylic nails came out bumpy as heck but people were nice. Just unprofessional. Table she sat me at was dirty and dusty. 'Front desk' was full of opened bags of who knows what- looked like snacks and stuff. Floor and everything is dirty. Spa chairs are old and peeling. Take my advice- don't come here. Not sure how they got good reviews because this place is an absolute dump. There's no way anyone would come here and honestly give a great review. Phony baloney. They're buying these reviews from Yelp. This place is a dump. read more

I called a few hours ahead of time but was able to get a same day appointment for a pretty intricate set of nails! The tech was SOOO careful and detailed and my nails turned out exactly as I wanted. The artwork she did was flawless and she was very meticulous in the way she shaped my nails. 100% will recommend and will be back for all my future sets. read more

I came in with a slight challenge for my artist. I had already had pink and white hombre which I wanted to keep but couldn't add any white. Thuy found the perfect match for my pink which she had to create since it was from a different salon. She mixed her pinks three different times making it darker or lighter to match mine exactly! I was very picky about the shape of my nails and she was willing to accommodate all of my requests. She even added a little sparkle to my pink to give it an extra pop! I was looking for a good nail salon when I was in town. Was easy to make a quick appointment, They were very busy when I got there, ( Bride and bridesmaids were getting pampered ) But Dan flawlessly took care of everyone with his team. He offered me drink Music was soothing. He recommended new set for me Soaked them , properly took them off, He is super knowledgeable, got me a beautiful new set of coffin nails. I also got my pedicure down and his wife did a beautiful job. I don't do a lot of reviews ,but good quality nail salons are important for me, especially because I travel a lot and they 100% deserve review! I came here because this nail salon has a perfect 5 star average score, and there is no way I'm messing with that. I can't express it enough how impressed I am with their services! Just, wow! I got both a mani pedi... both were absolute perfection. For the pedi, she took care of my callused heels. Usually when I go to a nail place they do one pass on the heels but make no difference. Here, they worked on my pedi till I have baby soft feet! Worth every penny. Had the same experience with my nails - she really took her time and they turned out beautiful. The owner here really cares and makes sure to put in 100% into every service. Proud of her and her business for doing so well! read more

I went in to get a pedi and a mani and i left feeling robbed. The tech suggested shellac, she said it will last longer so i went for it. What she didn't say was it was a $20 extra charge for both the mani and pedi which is robbery. If I'm using it already why should i have to pay $40 to use a polish that cost the same. The mani was horrible, two days after the polish peeled off, and my cuticles were never trimmed. She piled them and everything like she did them and i thought she did but they weren't. It cost me $105 for a service that should have been around $60. I took a chance and i regret it to this day. I will drive to the east side from now on to go to my regular place. At least if i get a deluxe package i won't leave feeling robbed and it last longer then 2 days and I'm talking weeks. If you can please go some where else they will charge you more then the entire service is worth. read more

Wow - I was visiting from out of state and needed a pedicure (yes men love pedicures too) look up top rated and found Alluring Nails & they were open on Sunday. So I gave them a call, straight to Voice Mail, got an instant text that asked me to text, I did. However I was too impatient to wait so i jumped in my car and drove to the shop. Was greeted by two very nice ladies, within minutes they had me in a chair, massage on and menu in hand. I chose the best one, she seemed surprised and delighted (genuine delight) i had a great time chatting with the ladys all while getting a fantastic pedicure that was well worth the $70. My picture does absolutely no justice, you can't see the pretty rose gold tone to the ombre, my nails are also a couple of days old, but WOW! I usually go to amys nails on debarr but they are closed Monday, and my stuff was looking busted so I had ti go somewhere else, and I'm SOOOOOO glad that I did!!!!!!!!!!! The overall customer service is a billion times better than I'd receive at amys, Thuy is the sweetest soul! I was just wanting a deep red wine color with a sun flower but she had idea for an upgrade then we just decided she would do this, so excited because amys always said my nails were too short to do an ombre, but thuy hooked it up! They did a great job on my pedicure and I was happy to have someone work so hard in my very dry feet to get them back into good shape. Comically there was a pigeon there i think it was the owners pet (?) and that kind of threw me off initially but overall good experience, fair prices, and diligent work done read more

Wow! I called and asked if they could get me in early (meaning as soon as they opened) but to my surprise, she offered to let me in even earlier for a pedicure and full set. Now, I'm a terrible nail biter. I will gnaw on my nails like a beaver to logs until my nails and cuticles are just destroyed. So getting a gel set is more to prevent the nail chewing than anything else. I still need to be able to type all day. I've gone to salons where I've asked for super short tips to be told "No. That's ugly." I've also had trouble with not getting exactly what I want at a salon because there's sometimes a language barrier. What a refreshing experience this was! She took so much time and care performing CPR on my poor cuticles and nails before starting the set. She was so nice and made sure I got exactly what I wanted and wasn't pushy about anything. I really did have a wonderful experience and I'm super happy with my nails and pedicure. read more

It was New year's day and I conquered the snow just to fix my nails- stumbled upon this hidden gem and I couldn't be happier! I've been disappointed a lot of times and almost gave up having my nails done in Anchorage until I met Thuy! She is the sweetest person and did a very nice job with my dip manicure! I love it here!! It's always great to have a good laugh. I laughed so much here. They are so personable and fun. I was very skeptical after having tried two places to get my nails done already. Both experiences left much to be desired for ample price. I came here, not expecting much and was so pleasantly surprised that I just had to tell all of you out there. The prices here are comparable to other places, but you get way more bang for your buck. I came in with a full set. She removed and prepped my nails for the new set. She applied the new set in a short period of time and my nails look and feel amazing. I couldn't be happier. If you're new in town, or not new in town you've got to come by. I told Thuy I will never see another nail tech in town and I mean it. She and her mother run this shop and while there's not all the extras, you don't miss them because the conversation is always great! Plus, her gel application is ON POINT, I do a solid three weeks between appointments and aside from nails that I (ME, in my everyday life) mess up, they're still as perfect on day 21 as they are when I leave the salon. I'd been bouncing around to different nail salons for years trying to find my favorite place. This is it! The employees always do a great job and are friendly. They offer complimentary tea, coffee, water, or soda which I really appreciate. They have a lot of pedicure options and prices are pretty similar to other places in town I think. They also are pretty hygienic from what I've seen. I always make an appointment, but I see people walk in often and not have to wait too long even though it's a small place with only a few people working. This is my new go-to spot! read more

I sit at a desk and type all day, so I'm barely having anything done around my nails where they're being aggressively forced to make my nails pop off. I did call Monday after my appointment was on Saturday night and I was told by the receptionist that she would pass my message along to the manager and the manager would reach out to me, today is Wednesday and no one has reached out to me about correcting anything regarding my toes or my nails. I did spend $220 and left a $40 tip.

I can't speak for the quality of every nail technician but this nail set in the picture was horrible compared to the 4 week old gel-x set that I had before this. When "Christine" was applying the extensions, I know I should have just completely stopped her there immediately. She was placing them crooked and unaligned from the beginning. The craziest part was when she was struggling to form a French tip with the dip powder and said, "It's hard because it's dirty." She went on to explain that the reason she was struggling was because the person who used the powder before her DIDN'T CLEAN IT PROPERLY. Now I'm just thinking about an infection because she cut me twice. I felt the first cut on the table and found the second one later in the night. My bleeding stopped very quick but it's was still very painful and uncomfortable on my cuticle. She ended up apologizing a lot for the 2 full hours she had me there, gave up on the dip powder and ended up just painting the French tip on in the end. This technician also tried to form an apex with the gel top coat which resulted in a very blobby form. It was $90 dollars. She knew she did a terrible job and she knew she kept me too long. Two other girls around said to just call if you need help. Again, I can't speak for all their employees I've heard that the "owner" and "May" give very great service, but I don't know if I'm truly ever coming back here.

The man cut her finger multiple times with the dremel tool with the acrylic, got UV-cured gel polish all over her fingers even after "fixing" it. He attempted to do the stripe design and the lines were all over the place. she showed him the inspo photos and it did not look anything like it. She ended up scrapping the design and opting for a chrome, which got all over her fingers and he didn't wash it off. Overall the place seemed clean but the vibe was unprofessional and seemed like they did not want us there. Not sure if it's just because of the time we went (midday on a Friday) but I would caution people on going here if they want anything other than a solid gel nail color.
