I did show up without an appointment at 3:45 PM, and they asked me to come back at five, and I agreed. I showed the young lady the picture that I wanted, and she didn't have a problem with it. She said it was fine. We started at five. She did not finish my nails till almost 8:15 PM. I also asked for a pedicure, and that wasn't started till a little after seven because the young lady doing my nails was taking more time than she thought it would take, I guess, to complete them. Everyone was obviously in a rush to leave the store and they went back-and-forth about who was gonna finish my pedicure, so once the gentleman came and put the acrylic on my toes and then another lady came to paint them and didn't give me a massage, didn't do my callus, didn't do anything, just painted my toes. She did not do a second coat. She just put clear on and put me under the light, and so part of my issue is that one, my entire toe is not even covered with the toenail or the acrylic that I paid for, so you can see in the picture. It's not even covering my entire toe. My nails, the gems on my nails started coming off because the young lady did not even put a topcoat on, and at this point it was already after 8 o'clock, so the gems have just been snagging and getting catching on to everything and popping off. Picture below, you can also see where on Monday night my nails were lifting. I don't work in any kind of strenuous job. I am an office administrator. I sit at a desk and type all day, so I'm barely having anything done around my nails where they're being aggressively forced to make my nails pop off. She also did not reshape them correctly and she did not file down the other nails to match length even after I asked her to. The layer of acrylic she applied was so thin and burned my fingers. She also filed off some of the nail finish and didn't fix it even when pointed out and she noticed the problem. My friend I was with also asked for a very simple monochrome stripe design. The man cut her finger multiple times with the dremel tool with the acrylic, got UV-cured gel polish all over her fingers even after "fixing" it. He attempted to do the stripe design and the lines were all over the place. she showed him the inspo photos and it did not look anything like it. She ended up scrapping the design and opting for a chrome, which got all over her fingers and he didn't wash it off. Overall the place seemed clean but the vibe was unprofessional and seemed like they did not want us there. Not sure if it's just because of the time we went (midday on a Friday) but I would caution people on going here if they want anything other than a solid gel nail color.

You can book with her via StyleSeat. It's very convenient especially for payment after your service. Adera also rents out chairs/rooms to other estheticians, nail artists, hair braiders etc. Her common-space is bright, clean, and tasteful. She has coffee and often has snacks. There's a mounted TV that plays music videos while you wait to be taken to your treatment room. I've never had a bad experience here. Although I come to see Adera, other staff have been friendly and welcoming to me. Highly recommend Adera's EUOC.

I can't speak for the quality of every nail technician but this nail set in the picture was horrible compared to the 4 week old gel-x set that I had before this. When "Christine" was applying the extensions, I know I should have just completely stopped her there immediately. She was placing them crooked and unaligned from the beginning. The craziest part was when she was struggling to form a French tip with the dip powder and said, "It's hard because it's dirty." She went on to explain that the reason she was struggling was because the person who used the powder before her DIDN'T CLEAN IT PROPERLY. Now I'm just thinking about an infection because she cut me twice. I felt the first cut on the table and found the second one later in the night. My bleeding stopped very quick but it's was still very painful and uncomfortable on my cuticle. She ended up apologizing a lot for the 2 full hours she had me there, gave up on the dip powder and ended up just painting the French tip on in the end. This technician also tried to form an apex with the gel top coat which resulted in a very blobby form. It was $90 dollars. She knew she did a terrible job and she knew she kept me too long. Two other girls around said to just call if you need help. Again, I can't speak for all their employees I've heard that the "owner" and "May" give very great service, but I don't know if I'm truly ever coming back here.

Wayyy better than Cali nails by a long shot. I really felt important here. I was greeted at the door with smiles and they helped me check in. Jay was really great helping me figure out what I wanted. And jay did a great job doing my nails as well as the nail art. All I asked for was a flower and Jay just painted the flowers on my nails and I was just in love with them.
