This was my first time coming to this salon. They were able to squeeze me in on Sunday which I was very thankful for as they were pretty busy. But the set of nails I left with $200+ after tip, Has all but given up. It's been 2 days and I have had three nails come completely off (on my non-dominant hand that I use less), and the rest are lifting. There was no prep done to my nail bed to secure the Gel-x extensions in place and it shows. Highly unprofessional and highly disappointing especially since I work full time and get off right as they close during the week. I now have to walk around until the weekend with three missing nails and babying my hands like they are made of glass. Because they essentially are. Horrible horrible horrible quality of work here. The worst I have ever seen. Don't go here. Not worth it. Edit: went in person after rushing out of work tonight to talk to someone about getting a refund and getting the nails taken off me. Was told to "chill out" when I expressed my displeasure of the poor quality of the nails I received and was essentially told to just go away because they had other clients and "there's a lot of things that can cause that." Is what she said, but there is no right world where you pay $200 plus dollars for nails and they come off in 3 days for anything other than improper procedure and installment. Absolutely unprofessional and horrible customer service. I wish I could give 0 stars because this place deserves it. Edit: had a phone call after two more nails fell off after I took that photo, but they kept telling me "things happen." And that they did their best but I have never had such a thing happen in the many years I have been getting my nails done. Lifting sure, but not complete failure of FIVE NAILS in THREE-FOUR days. Told me no refund was possible until their boss comes back on Sunday and I can talk with her. The nail tech tried to play victim when it's the business that needs to make this right. read more

Tough review. My pedicure was fine and I would give 4-5 stars. The issue is I called ahead and made a 10:30 appointment. They had me set up in a chair and massage chair, but no one came to do my pedicure until 11:15! 45 minutes I sat waiting because they just want the service and know once your feet are in the water you probably aren't going to leave. Poor service on that end. Another lady walked in after me with an 11am appointment, they got to her at 11:28 so it appears to be the norm. Don't come here in you have other things to do during your day. Very disappointed with the experience. read more

I was really looking forward to a relaxing pedicure at Today's Nails, but unfortunately, my experience was frustrating and disappointing. The technician seemed inexperienced and unsure of what she was doing--barely touching my cuticles, applying polish unevenly, and giving a rushed, one-minute leg massage. When I politely asked for one of my nails to be redone because it was visibly uneven and not fully painted, the redo somehow looked even worse. To make matters worse, when I voiced my concern, a supervisor (or owner) dismissed it and told me that because I didn't choose shellac, this is just how regular polish looks--which is simply not true. Later, the technician admitted that they've been having issues with the nail polish. If that was the case, why wouldn't they inform customers beforehand? Instead, I paid $40 (plus a tip I now regret) for a subpar pedicure that I could have done better at home. As a stay-at-home mom, a pedicure is a small luxury I genuinely look forward to, and this experience left me feeling disappointed and unheard. Unfortunately, I won't be returning. read more

I booked a pedicure appointment three days in advance, but when I arrived I still had to wait over 40 minutes past my scheduled time before anyone started. What was especially frustrating is that a walk-in who arrived after me was taken before me, even though I had made an appointment. I understand that things can run behind in busy salons, but appointments should be honored in the order they're scheduled, otherwise there's little point in booking ahead. I hope management takes this feedback seriously, because respecting clients' time is just as important as the service itself. read more

Horrible service from the owner/ manager. Went in to have acrylic removed and get a gel manicure, even with an appointment my nails were rushed, I was then told that my appointment got squeezed in between two other clients. Went home and noticed a bunch of air bubbles, uneven top coats, and gel peeling off like stickers, I went back a day later and asked to have it fixed, the owner was rude and rushed again while "fixing the nails", she filed two nails down short without asking , leaving me with 8 naturally longs nails and 2 short, that same night another two nails peeled off after washing I hands once. When I went back the next morning I got yelled by the owner, she was throwing things around on her table as she continued to go off on me while I stood there in shock at what was happening, she yelled at an employee to fix my nails. The employee did a good job at fixing the 2 nails, but I wish I was joking, not even an hour later another nails peeled back...do I go back again? $60 and 3 days later and this is what I have? Got the basic pedicure, saw there was a price increase & additional $10 for callus under feet scrub, so $50 for a basic pretty much. The girl did my pedicure WAY TOO FAST & NO TLC! Mind you I am pregnant. She finished in 30 minutes. And I was sitting in the chair waiting for my toes to dry, she was already putting my shoes on after 2 minutes. Then another lady is asking me to pay already after I'm just sitting in the chair for maybe not even 10 minutes. Mind you this place is NOT BUSY & not closing yet as there are 2 other people in the salon getting pedicures. So she kicked me off the chair for me to pay cause she wants to go home. Each time I've gotten a different group of employees and let me tell you! They are ALL SO AMAZING. First, I'll start off by saying that my nail design turned out exactly like the picture I brought, so that was great. They also can get you in on short notice so that's also a plus. I have to dock a few points because I feel like the work was sloppy (acrylic hardened all around the edges of my cuticles) and also rushed. My skin around my cuticle was nicked on a couple fingers and they were still attached and not pushed back on a few others. They definitely looked a little rough for having just been done. Also, I used to go here because they were fairly cheap. My full dip set was $80 which seemed a lot more expensive than what it used to be. read more

This review if for today's nails on Huffman rd. I just got a mani/pedi for mothers day and it was fantastic. I was greeted very friendly and I was taken to my chair almost immediately. Let me start by saying I am a mani/pedi newbie but I was very well taken care of here. I got a basic pedi which cost me 30 dollars but it was very relaxing and my toes look great! Then I got a Shellac manicure. The Shellac turned out beautiful and I'm very happy with the outcome. However I'm not sure if it was due to me not knowing how nail salons work or not asking enough questions but I was very shocked to hear my end price was 75 dollars! On the board of colors for Shellac it said 25 so I just assumed I'd be paying 55 for the mani and pedi combined but the Shellac Polish itself is 25 and the actual manicure is an additional 20. So just be aware of that. Aside from my sticker shock they did a great job. read more

This nail salon gave me the worst nail experience that I've ever had. The nail technician put the gel shellac over my acrylic base nail using several layers of polish. He didn't make the acrylic base right as all my nails look kind of bumpy. One nail he had to completely redo as it had a huge bump at the end of my nail and it took him 45 minutes to redo the one nail. He didn't clean up my cuticles and instead put acrylic over them causing the extra acrylic to flake off a day later revealing that there was already a gap of what looked like nail growth. He didn't start the curing process right as when he applied the first layer of nude colored gel polish it came out of the UV lamp tacky. He also didn't even know which tip coat polish was Matte or Glossy finish; I had to tell him which one was Matte. And he only took $5 off my nail price for having to fix that nail and taking so long to do a not so great job. And now not even three weeks later the nude gel shellac polish is turning yellow. I think it's funny how this nail salon hands out punch cards when the nails I got done are the worst I've had. I looked up nail polish turning yellow and it's apparently very common with gel nails. And I'd like to say that non of the normal-nail jobs I've had don in 5 years have ever turned yellow. I will never be getting gel shellac polish put on again and I will never becoming back to this nail salon again; nor will I recommend it to my friends. If I hear someone I know say that want to go here I will tell what happened with may nails and that it's a waste of money. read more

I used to go this place pretty consistently when I lived in Anchorage and the service was okay, so while visiting town I decided to stop in for a fill. They charge $25 for the fill and $25 for gel polish--significantly more than I pay back home in LA--but I guess that's typical for Anchorage. While doing my nails, the woman started pulling off the acrylics, saying they were lifting (they were NOT) and I told her to stop and just give me a fill, and she said okay and then continued to try to rip them off. I had to tell her once again to stop, and she did but rushed through the rest of the process--I asked for coffin shape which she did not do, and she didn't compare any of my nails to see if they were consistent in shape and size. I had to check them myself and ask her multiple times to file them down so they were the same length. While I was getting my nails done, my mom was getting a pedicure. They told her at the beginning it would be $30, and then when we checked out they changed the price to $40. Horrible business practice and terrible quality of service. read more
