This visit, we ordered the premium sashimi assortment, uni, specialty rolls, ramen, and ended with the matcha ice cream dessert. The standout for me was definitely the sashimi. Everything tasted fresh, and I loved being able to try so many different types of fish in one beautifully presented box!! To finish, we ordered the matcha ice cream with fried banana, which was a fun way to end the meal. The warm banana paired really well with the cold, creamy matcha ice cream! Love love this dessert! Food tasted great. We ordered bento box of chicken and the other was salmon for lunch. Place was airy and bright. My friend seated herself at the entrance of the restaurant while she waited for me. All of the food was packaged really well and looked delicious. They provided chopsticks and soy sauce packets in the delivery bag as well. The Takoyaki was about $10-11. The nigiri was about $10 for two pieces, which I thought was on the pricey side. The cost of the rolls were more in line with other restaurants, around $15. Even though takeout doesn't have the same freshness as dining in, the sashimi was still tender, flavorful, and free of any fishy taste. Came in since it was close to our hotel, was a rainy night and didn't want to drive too far. Was seated quickly and our drink order taken. You scan the QR code and can order right in the app or order from the waiter. Since we were on 1 bill we decided it would be easier to order from the waiter than passing the phone around to order. He explained the apps were running behind because they had a large order from a delivery app. We were almost done with the sushi when the mussels came out, and completely done by the time the other 2 apps came out. You order by scanning a barcode on the table. I like this because you order the food yourself and the only wait is for the food to arrive. Then once you're done eating, you pay by scanning the barcode again or you can ask someone working there to bring you the bill. The sushi was very delicious. They put Berna in a corner and forgot about her. We are regulars at this place and were greeted nicely as we walked in. There was another group waiting before us so my husband and I placed our name on the waiting list. There was a two top open, but the server knew I would not be able to sit on the high chair since I am on a wheelchair. So we waited. We saw a booth getting cleaned and we got our hopes up! Came here again and left unimpressed. It is very overpriced for the portion sizes, the maki's are $8 for 6 pieces. The baked rolls have a lot of sauce on it making it very messy to eat. The staff member who served us appeared to have an attitude after we chose not to leave a tip, which made us feel uncomfortable.
